The people over at iFixit have manage to disassemble the new PS3 Slim and have brought to us the innards.

A few notable differences in this new SKU. The new PS3 uses a brushless DC motor (probably why it would be more quieter than previous models), and internal PSU is also significantly smaller compared to the previous SKU’s as well. The general build of the PS3 are also reversed compared to the previous PS3′s (cooling is on top as compared to bottom)
