• PS3 Hacks , 28.01.2010

    Geohot has today confirmed on his blog that his exploit DOES work on firmware 3.10. He also added that there are compile issues in Fedora but works fine in Ubuntu.

      it has to! this was discovered after the release of the firmware, so if it would be corrected it would be in firmware 3.20...
      But this is unlikely to be corrected

      It is unlikely that it would be corrected in 3.20 I think. They can, however, disable the exploit by disabling direct access to the memory bus from OtherOS. Just like the RSX was blocked in 2.10.

      and yes stop updating people at least for the time being, even if this exploit is unlikely to be fixed.
