We covered the tear down of the 120GB slim PS3(CECH-2000A) here, which had a 65nm RSX GPU chip, Sony has since released a 120GB PS3(CECH-2100A) with a 40nm RSX GPU chip, this is said to be letting Sony finally profit on the sale of its console, whilst the PS3 has the benefit of less power consumption.

Japanese website Pocketnews did a complete tear down of the new 120GB(CECH-2100A)version.
