Computer and Video Games(CVG) has reported by speaking to SCEE’s Mick Hocking, that Sony will be releasing two 3D related firmwares this year, the first being 3D Blu Ray in September, then at a later date, support for 3D photo’s and camcorders.

    A quote from the site:

“In September this year, we’re launching another Firmware upgrade – and this one is going to upgrade the PS3 to support Blu-ray movies in 3D,” said Hocking.

“Again, you won’t have to do anything – just connect your PS3. For the film market that’s a very significant event.

“Then later in the year – we’re not going to date it yet – the PS3 is going to support 3D photos. Of course the popularity of 3D isn’t just going to come from movies and games. There’s 3D cameras on the market, there’s 3D camcorders coming on the market in the next 12 months as well, and 3D broadcasts.

Engadget has reported, via its Japanese site, that Sony will be releasing a Classic White version of their Slim PS3 Console, the SKU will have a 160GB HDD, these SKU’s will only be released in Japan, with no mention of a release in EU or US

As well as the White SKU, Sony will be releasing their consoles with higher capacity HDD’s, with the largest being 320GB, as youll notice in the images, no HDMI cable is present, these cables cost very little money, so Sony should be including them with all SKU’s.

So its been over four years, since the game was first revealed, we waited in anticipation for its release and waited and waited, we had the demo’s and GT5 Prologue, which is basically just a big demo, then at this years E3, we were told the release date for the game so we should expect the game to be released on the 2nd of November 2010, that’s if there aren’t any other delays.

Here are some details to keep you exited until the game is released:

There will be over 1000 cars.
    Premium will include 200+ Vehicles.

    Standard will include 800+ Vehicles.

The game will have cars from, World Rally Championship, NASCAR and Super GT.
An image of some of the NASCAR motors, these cars will feature, along side their real life drivers, so expect to race some of NASCAR greatest racers in digital format:

All the cars are stunningly detailed and the interiors of these vehicles are no exception.

Here are images comparing the game models to that of their real life counter part.

As well as having stunning cars we need equally stunning tracks, the game will consist of 70 variations of 20 different locations,
    these locations include:

Curso Del Sol, Madrid, Spain, Europe.

    Rome, Italy, Europe.

    Tuscany, Italy, Europe.

The Top Gear Test Track, Dunsfold Park Airfield, England, Europe.

    Other features include:
An online mode, where you will be able to play up to 16 people.

    Optional Stereoscopic-3D.
Race in tracks at Daytona International Speedway, Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Nürburgring Nordschleife, Tsukuba Circuit, and two new Rome and Madrid city circuits.
Utilizes PS Eye and PS Move.

I will leave you with some more images for you to drool over.

So some of you join the forums IRC network to receive help, but you join using the forums Java client, for some of you, that isn’t practical, like those of you that use your PS3′s, or those of you that have smart phones, etc, it also appears that some of you are hesitant to join as you either dont know what to expect, or the Java client has failed and you have given up, so i will attempt to cover a few points, so that you get the help to get the help you need.

    Using a Playstation 3:
So not everyone has the luxury of owning a PC, the only way to join HaXNetwork IRC on a non Linux PS3, is via mibbit, i have made a link specifically for HaXNetwork, Click Here To Join HaXNetwork For Live Help, you will be taken to a screen, where you can enter your nick from this forum, or use the default one set, mibbit can be used on mostly all devices and is very handy on a PS3, providing that you have a Keyboard and Mouse.

Thats the easiest one covered, as all the IRC servers details are already filled in for you, so now on to the slighty harder side of IRC.
All the following clients will need an address entered where it says “Server”, the address is as follows:
    irc.ps3sanctuary.com

Now on to the devices and clients:

    Android Devices:
    AndChat
Android IRC(Free Version)This gives an annoying lag screen when you first start the client, but if you arnt willing to pay, its your only option.
Yaaic – Yet Another Android IRC Client

    iPhone:
    Colloguy
    Limechat
    Rooms
    IRChon
    EbIRC

    Mac:
    Xchat-Aqua
    Linkinus
    Ircle

    Windows:
XChat My personal favourite IRC client.
mIRC Possibly the best IRC client for scripting, i use it for my bot Olga.

Linux has a version of XChat, if you are installing XChat via Linux, be sure not to use the Gnome version, as it is horrible, you can also use mIRC on Linux via Wine.

As it may still see a bit daunting, i will leave you with a few video tutorials that i have created.

    XChat:

    mIRC:

Thank you for viewing my tutorial, i hope it has helped and i look forward to speaking to you guys on IRC.
