This may be bad news for some but according to PSX-Scene, it seems that due to shortage, and high demand the shipping for PSjb has been delayed.
To quote:
A shortage of components has forced the delay of the product’s launch. There is no longer an official date for shipping to begin but the delay is expected to be anywhere from 3 days to as long as a week.
Retailers will not be receiving their shipment of PS Jailbreak dongles on Friday as scheduled. Anyone telling you otherwise is either misinformed or disingenuous.

Yeah, that'd be just like a chinese manufacturer... Take as many orders as they can (to make as much money as possible), say they'll deliver as much as is wanted, but, not bother to ensure they have the resources to produce the amount they've promised to deliver.

Well, what would you do if you were them? Make sure you have enough stock and sell less and take longer (thus, allowing more clones to get ojut), or sell as much as possible, as quick as possible to make as much money, before the clones/ripoffs/free products are made available...

I'm not saying that psjb is making a bad business decision, its a good move on their part. But it still sucks for the scene and the people waiting for an alternative to surface. And also... is this news credible? Their site says nothing of this. Did they get this info from a distributor? The site linked doesnt give a source...

Gconshop in Thailand have pushed back the release date to Sep 1st from Aug 28th, so hopefully the delay won't be too long. They've also changed the price from ~$125 to TBA, so I hope the price hasn't gone up, but if demand exceeds supply then I'm sure it will here at least.

I know this might sound like paranoia, but...
What if they don't have a working unit? I mean, most of the videos I have seen were done on dev units...the other videos could easily have been faked. What if they are just trying to get $150 from 100,000 people, and then not shipping anything at all, or just shipping a broken 512MB USB drive?
...Or maybe they just want to sell as many as they can before sony blocks them?
...Or it might just be that they want to sell as many as possible before the clones hit...but I don't think this is the case, as these keys have already been leaked. If they actually work, then people are already working on clones, and any delay will only hurt the sales of the original.

Friday PSJB told me that stock was shipping on this Friday and next Monday.
They have now said (as of today) that stock will now not ship til Monday and Tuesday so there is no 1 week delay but instead they will ship on the Monday as promised and some orders will be delayed by 1 day.
