With PSgroove out and about, people are busy working on ports to hopefully be ran by other means than just a USB board.
Netzke is working on a port for Andriod phones, he supposedly is getting ready to beta test his port, you can read about his updates on his twitter.
To quote:

Currently the only real requirement is that your phone be rooted and running an android OS.
Also this is not limited to just phones. You can also use an android tablet. Or any other device you have that runs Android os. It appears to work on my netbook as well.

Great, I'm pretty sure that someone gets the psp version working in just a few days.
I mean, everyone wants to be the first one to create such a thing for teh internet fame.
Hopefully there will be ps3 homebrews showing up soon (This pretty much opens the doors for homebrews, right?), can't even imagine what these people can do with ps3. (Considering that psp already has about every imaginable homebrew available and it's just a handheld.)

hey im not a big hacker or any1 special int he ps3 scene or not right now atleast but i have a great idea that could maybe work?since people are seeming to have problems and lieng about porting this to psp isn't there a android port for psp ?so if this works on the android os woudn't it work on a psp port of it?
maybe something simpler we can work on is porting the android os to psp and using that exploit? unless meth thinks his all"mighty" team can whip us up a nice port...tobad they already have a android port for psp but its in beta but hey jsut throwing this out there hopefully sum1 looks into this and can give me my windows xp os back on my ps3=/
(funny thing is the dayz i finally gotxp to work on my ps3 os was removed so of course ive been evyr unhappy lol)

it should and if u have a male to male usb chord like me ?(has double head normal size usb) u can connect the pc to the usb on 1 end and the ps3 ont he other if sum1 can get me a way to download an android os and run it through virtual machine maybe we could use the pgroove android port that way? rofl ud be surprised how smart a teen like me is now adays right?lol
ps i hate the ppl on the live chat they are useless with trying to help with this just leeches who wait and thats why we dont have homebrew now,they say it wont work cuz of hardware...if psp to ps3 works psp with android os to pc will work ,why wait for meth? whose had almost 2 weeks then have it by next week by just simply using psp with androids os port on psp and emulate like an android, they told me it woudnt come out how id expect? thats crap if its emulating an android if it acts like an android it will re act like 1 too

You can get a teensy for $18...do you really want to spend $20 on cables to turn your PC into a giant teensy emulator? Honestly, seems a bit silly to use your android for this purpose, unless of course, you are waiting for your X3 or Teensy to arrive.

I don't think it is too crazy if in fact he is waiting for a Teensy for a while as they are on backorder. Also he already has the parts for it to work that way, why would he want to pay more money?

20 bucks?rofl a male to male can be bought at most dollar trees/dollar genera;s/walgreens/cvs aot cheaper then that heck even at walmart and u can get it asap instead of waiting on something that u cnt gurante will come,i dont want any donations i just want a team to help me see /port the androids os on psp or see if we can do the pc to ps3 running android in virtual machine or on ur pc
my theory is the pc to ps3 will work better especially if u have note books and stuff
2nd theory the psp will work but the porting of the os and getting it to run might be a bit of a problem i sure hope the beta os released for psp will work
ps dnt need smart ass pro dev for this ill take any1 good or kinda good with coding psp

The guy is making updates only to ask for more donations, no info on his progress. Why does he needs beta in the first place? He can try it himself, it either works or not, it's not a real application that needs debugging.
He also said he will make custom beta for each beta tester, it will be crypted and won't run on antoher phone, hat is this joke?

on a board related note, i think sellers are starting to catch on to PSGroove and all the Pandora sticks - i refused to call it "jailbreak" as that is a term for iPhones >< as i purchased a blackcat board off of ebay, who had 10 left.
im getting a full refund and waiting on the Android port.
the deal went through, money was taken out of my account. Today they turn around and say out of stock when they had 9 left. : / seems a bit strange to me

I was just about to make one of those but looks like someone beat me to it.
Google just released a gui for making android apps and that is exactly what someone did dropped in those sections and took a screen shot. It's 100% fake.
