Here is another device to add on your list that has been ported, Droid. The folks over at PSX-Scene report that the Droid port is now available to download. The only limitation/problems are to use a short USB cable as the timings are odd, but it should work after a few tries.

I wonder how easily an iPhone port could 'slip' through the App Store screening now that the Droid (and many other Android devices) has a port.

Entitled *****es...Just sit on your ass and complain. What incentive does anybody have to make this work for your iPhone/PSP, because you are too lazy to get a $40 calculator or a $20 programmable USB drive? The reason it hasn't been ported to iPhone (or PSP) is it is a linux program. Android is based on Linux. iPhone is not. Thus one is more difficult to make work than the other, guess which!
But I know I won't change any opinions here, so just keep complaining and making the scene look like a bunch of juvenile jackasses and the rest of us will try to ignore your whiny subset of the group.
Later, *****es.

I can confirm this working and running well. Took me a few tries to get it to boot with PSJB Menu, but it worked eventually. Took me a bit of time to figure out how to do it because the Tutorial wasn't the greatest, but the thing not mentioned is that the only thing you can't do with it with this Kernel is use USB Mass Storage from the Home Screen, you have to do it in recovery. My phone still charges with the wall charger no problem. If you have any questions, PM me or post here.

09-09-2010

You have 5 posts and for of them was asking for an s60 port, do you think they do ports for the devices that somebody own? or for they compatibility? I don't know nothing about it but i almost bet that the S60 is a symbian phone.

If I have a Droid phone and I want to hack my PS3 with something and I know from hacking and writing program on my Droid phone how to do it quicker with a Droid, then obviously I'm going to use a Droid. Why would I go out and buy an iPhone or PSP so I could figure out how hack them and develop for them? Then I would still have to port the program over. The person that did the TI-84 port probably just knew programming, understood the architecture of the TI-84 system, and had one handy. They didn't go buy one to try it out, they did it cause it was handy.
No one is telling you to go out and buy these things, but if you are this darn impatient then do it! You have 4 options at this point:
1. Go buy something that is compatible.
2. Use something that you have and make it work yourself.
3. Shut up and be patient for something that works on your hardware.
4. Continue to whine and moan and get nothing for it...
Most of the people that do the programming for these devices have wives or husbands, kids, or school, or all the above. (except for having a wife AND a husband... but hey I don't judge
Now to the team that did this hack:
Thank you guys! I'm so glad to finally have a droid port! The piece I got in the mail yesterday wasn't right for the developer board, but when I woke up this morning found this great news! Keep up the awesome work guys! :D So glad I could be here to see the beginning of PS3 homebrew! :D I'm going to try this tonight then I'll post back here and tell you how it goes. Thanks again!!!

ok I understand that people want an iphone port but whining about one isn't just annoying, it is off topic. Off topic posts can be deleted. Any port is a gift considering you devoted no work or time. I think all new members need the rules again.
Moto Droid is good news, as rhere are a lot of people that own this phone.

Thanks, im waiting (patiently or not
for my psjb, my xplain board which should be here within 5-12 business days or a port for the device I own, If i knew how to code/hack, id be in on it like blue bonnet working on say the ti-89 or the psp.
I also understand that since im not paying for the psp version, im not gonna whine about it, I am surprised its not out yet though
