DanyL from PSX-Scene has released an EASY and newb friendly program to add PSGroove on iPod devices (and various others including: sansa E200v1, E200R, C200v1).

    To quote:
I built a small program that allows easy installation of PSGroove on iPod devices.
It’s still in beta and it lacks of automatic installation of iPL.
    But it works pretty well.

    [Download RockBoxPSGroove Installer]
    [VIA PSXScene]

Thanks to condorstrike for the tip

i'd say its great if it worked for me - sadly it does not work. i always get some kinda error.

Still good looking program - you can extract the files you need out of the install folder to use them manually

does this program have hermes payloads included in the psgroove or is it the same as the other download just in an autoinstaller?

is there a working port for the ipod video with hermes payload so i can use bm v2? i am currently using one that supports bm 1 but does not include the hermes payloads. i saw a link somewhere but it was down and i dont like untrustworthy links.

I could not get it to work, running win7 home premium 64bit run as admin.
Better instructions to follow other than a few pictures would help. If I could get it to work I would provide some lol.

That link you provided is to load games without a game disc using backup manager 2?
I have the ipod psgroove but can only launch games with a disc inside.
      Thanks!

Couldn't get working on Windows 7 64 bit or Windows XP on the laptop.

Installed on the C240v1 via rockbox method instead and worked.

Do you lose the Ipod function when you install this?

Is there a step by step tutorial for this and how to make it work?

No you don't lose Ipod functionality. Can still boot into AppleOS.
Also I see there is a new version out and it is "out of beta".
