LOL! I knew they would try somthing like this. But even if they make it $20.00 even with shipping included I would still have to think about it.:thefinger:
So it could be from 1-2 weeks or up to a month before they have sufficient inventory to ship out.
As they state on there site the shipping date is... Oh wait they dont have a date.
An my guess is by then there should be a port out for a device (PSP,iPhone, Droid ect..) if not all of them. An that my friends is the best deal in the long run because it will be FREE with the same if not SHORTER wait/shipping time.
So for now I'm willing to wait a month or so.

They cant beat the scene, that will be for casual gamers, but we stay true to the scene XD
that is a good solution for someone that doesn't know how to do anything, they buy it online and plug it on the ps3. the release date is yet to be seen, s it could be over a month before they start shipping.

I ordered the blackcatUSB and the teensy++ and still the psp version is coming, if i were you i would still buy the at90usbkey, and if the psp version comes out first the best if not you will have the AT90 waiting for you, and another thing, when the psgroove gets updated it will be first the hex files so we can install them on the at90, and then psp version will have to be coded (or updated) and that will always come 2nd.

yes you can unplug it, but everytime you want to use homebrew you will have to plug the cable again

So what's the way to go? x3JailBreak or PSGroove (Scene)? i've ordered a teensy++ and just waiting for delivery because im thinking that whatever 'official' clones come up with, the scene can zip out same feature set or better so we can flash our own devices
or is there any advantage to a PSJB or X3 over a scene/teensy++?

Go to the Downloads section on their site. Funny. Just like PSJB. No manual but, no Bck Mgr. Funny. Glad I ordered my Blackcat and grabbed the software. If they can kick it off for 20 I will get some and sling them like rocks but I personally am gonna use the Cat. P.S. You can say its free but NOTHING in LIFE is FREE!!!!!!!!!!! NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The first 2 statements contradict eachother; software emulated allows for updates, hardware USB is not very flexible.
#5 is great...the Teensy has 25 expansion ports.

That actually puts it under $18; the price of a Teensy 2.0...maybe they will just drop the price of the x3 to $15 shipped!

Why would you want to port to a hand help system that barely gets advertised anymore, which only a small amount of people own? A more viable option would be just a regular $5 USB that we can copy and paste files to (simple) none of this flashing / whatever stuff.

Why is so difficult for people to understand that a normal regular common USB flash drive thumbstick pendrive (whatever name you like) CANNOT/DOES NOT WORK???
For any one saying/asking about the USB flash drive, do us a favor, grab a normal USB flash drive put the .hex file into and try it on your PS3 and make a video and post it on youtube, would you?

Psps may not be popular as before. but im sure theres people like me that bought one or two, years ago and still have them laying around with CFW installed. If there was a psp port well that would make it better, since in some places you cant get a board.

mine had the analog stop working and when i replaced it with an after market part is still didn't work and since it had cfw, i didn't want sony to update it while fixing it

I'd personally err on the side of the 'scene on this one. Purely because for future updates you're relying on the X3 developers still being around. The PS3 scene has been around this long, I can see it being around alot longer.
Back when the WiiKey first came out, support from the official developers dried out for a while, resulting in people being unable to play Mario Galaxy and Super Smash Bros. Brawl. I'm not saying this is gunna happen with any jailbreak distributors, but it's always on my mind...

Can we now update the PS3 to the lastest firmware?
Will theses devices work on the lastest update?
I haven't updated since they removed the install other os.
I hope someone can create a homebrew multi region tool for dvd and blu ray. Wouldn't have a clue myself where to start making homebrew software.

I believe that this works on the latest F/W, however subsequent releases from Sony may address these vulnerabilities.

Well i don't think they are fake, but we don't have any proof that they are real either, we are waiting for a decent video, cause the one they posted is a crap, if i were you when buying from those guys i would just wait and see if other people have recieved their orders, or you could be like the rest of us and buy a dev board and not wait for those clones.
