    > Fixed auto-exiting when using the PS3 Remote Control instead
    of a gampad.

:musicus: c'mon give us the good stuff. GBA emulators,PSP(all this was mentioned last month....)GB SP emulator, or a emulator that play some cell phone games, or try to bypass sony's PSN block? oh this is still good work since anything is better than nothing......Must of been dreaming when I thought I seen about 3 or 4 ftp apps that get released every week. owell keep up the "good" work guys.

@noob2009: If you were a developer working hard on something, would you feel inspired to share the fruits of your labour after reading comments like yours?
      Very aptly chosen user name.

If I was a developer I'd know everything isn't fine and dandy, there will always be "trolls" or someone speaking "bad" or whatever you call it so they can just ignore it like I would do. Now not to come off as the evil villain here because I did give credit. It's just things like this have been released numerous of times while time could of been spent elsewhere......But again anything is better than nothing and It's good that the developer put much time in this high demand app.

I think it's very nice that a good stable FTP server is developed and worked on. The Blackb0x FTP is the best one out there!

      Thanks alot for this release!!

Thanks for the release, unfortunately it doesn't work correctly with FileZilla.

Ftp'ing from the PS3 is fine but I can't seem to upload to it on this version. I've had to rollback to 1.0b because that works fine.

i can also confirm that i couldnt get this to work on Filezilla but it did work on Win Scp. sadly winscp only transfers at 900 Kib/s a 6 gig file was going to take around 3.5 hours.

I use Windows Explorer to FTP on a gibabit LAN and blackb0x FTP Server v1.1. It's pretty fast, a 12GB backup took about half an hour to transfer.

No, you have to have a hacked ps3 to run this or any homebrew app or game. If your on 3.55 or lower you can install a custom firmware easily and be able to run whatever you want. If your on 3.56 or above you wont be able to hack it without downgrading first.

Welcome to the PS3Hax forums. Please introduce yourself here: http://www.ps3hax.net/forumdisplay.php?f=144

Please don't dig up posts/threads that are 6 months or more old. Better start reading on jailbreaking here: http://www.ps3hax.net/forumdisplay.php?f=127

To answer your question: you can only install pkg's on jailbroken systems. So installing a FTP server (this one is outdated) can only be done on jailbroken systems.

Sorry FirebirdTA01 and OoZic , that is not strictly true now guys , you can run blackbox on a stock ps3 using data transfer of system backup from a hacked ps3 to a stock ps3, as long as the firmwares is the same var number.

I have been doing it since november when the ps3 was 1st hacked, some games work if you create a pkg of game after editing the eboot, then install it on hacked ps3, then data transfer to stock ps3. ( you have to create pkg to create game icon, for the stock ps3)

Note data backup to usb will not work on games as there to big to save to usb, because of the fat32 bo77ocks.
