PS3HaX member ThatOtherPerson responsible for the Maze Generator and Cubicle Shooter homebrew PS3 games, has released a WIP game called The World Drowns, it is not yet complete and he is requesting help from anyone with 3D model creation skills, here is a quote from his original thread:
The World Drowns is (or will be) a 3D homebrew PS3 action RPG game.
To be clear I want to begin by saying that I don’t actually recommend anyone bother with downloading this. It is not a particularly accurate representation of my expectations for the final game. At this stage in development it is simply a non game comprised of a hacked together sequence of kludges. Its garbage.
Well making it its purpose was primarily for testing out obj format mesh loading. The reasoning for posting it though is simply that I thought it would be easier to attract artists if I had some form of a demo to show for the game that I want them to contribute to.
I’m looking for people to create the 3d models, textures and eventually animations for the characters and environments. So if your interested in pitching in then let me know.

This looks kool im gald as well that people are working in ways to make stuff for the ps3 instead of just how to pirate games. Im hoping you can find someone it would be kool to show sony that we do this for other reasons and it would be more funny if this game turns out kooler then some of the lame ps3 games with 10 million + budgets.

ummm....yea. What's up with all these U...U...U useless apps as of late? Like some said above. Either it's some backup/open version # 5,000 updated to support hacking the ps3 with a car or ftp app which have been on the low as of the late. Now this app is ok since it's the first of being different in the pass weeks but it isn't all that mind blowing either so congrats to the guy that made this it shows hope that other things can be made....I guess.
So like I said friday, if nothing that's mind blowing (gba,dreamcast,gbsp,n64,etc) hasn't been released than I'm updating. The last thing I installed was back on sept. 3rd and we all know what that was. 3 more days.....

Lets talk about something that exists only to steal games...sony's firmware blocks on the PSN. I have at least $200 worth of games on the PSN that I cannot download.
