    PS3HaX member ThatOtherPerson, who just recently released the Homebrew game Maze Generator, has released a demo of a FPS(First Person Shooter) that he is working on, here is a quote from his thread:

    Here is a tech demo for a first person shooter I’m working on. Everything in it is now and will continue to be completely destructible. Use the left analog stick the move, right analog stick to aim, R1 to shoot. There is no gravity at the moment but you can use the triangle and X buttons to move up and down. There is also no set objective or challenge at this point. It really is just a pure tech demo. But I think its still pretty cool already. So have some fun digging into walls and let me know what you think of it.

      I was really hoping someone would make a game with that name where you go through the IRS and "clear out" all the cubicles.

      PS3 code is still foreign to me...and I am not even going to consider learning it until there is an open SDK...assuming I bother to learn it at all. I got a few glimpses while compiling open manager, but I didn't even bother to read the source.

      No offense taken.

      I noticed that there is quite a shortage of PS3 homebrew games. Even though the PS3 jailbreak was supposedly to allow people to use homebrew on their PS3, most of the homebrew has been oriented at backup games. There is only a handful of actual homebrew games for the PS3. I don't mean to sound like an ungrateful noob, but wasn't the point of the PS3 jailbreak to play homebrew games and NOT backups?

      @gersrt
      I didn't realize that that was the problem. Now I understand why so few homebrew games were released. I guess I'll just have to wait a few more months.
