Seriously. It's one thing to rip off the name of a well known established IP.
It's another thing to drop the huge piece of **** that is this game and which bears no resemblance to the IP.
Couldn't you have at least ripped off the gameplay too so at least people wouldn't be disappointed?
Might as well have called it SUPER MARIO BROTHERS.
And what's with these GAMEWATCH quality homebrew games. I'm sure it's a real difficult decision, Black Ops, Assassins Creed Brotherhood... OR THIS

i never said i was porting bomberman from a game release befor bomberman is my own homebrew game i coded has nothing to do with other console platform version of bomberman MOD if you could please remove the flamer comment or ban up to you thank you

Seriously though, your game sucks, and the name you chose for it is just ridiculous. We don't need crappy homebrew like this. And we definitely don't need pushy developers telling administrators how to do their job, run a website, or which viewpoints can be expressed or not.
BTW: Here's what the REAL Bomberman HD looks like; it's a PSN exclusive.
I'm pretty sure most people know which they'd rather play.

finally people speak up about all these crappy homebrew games. i can not code but if i could i would never release anything like the games that are coming out. ie: this, neo racer, cubicle shooter, pong and so on. i think these developers are just rushing to put something out so they can say they had the first homebrew game for the ps3 without caring about how it looks or plays. i say just take your time and put out a good piece of homebrew that can take advantage of the ps3 hardware and then every one will be impressed. if i was a developer i would rather be known for putting out quality over quantity.

i must agree, well done for the coding, and making something like this, it takes a lot of effort to code a game like this, but, very bad choice of game title, when i loaded up ps3hax and saw "BOMBERMAN HD 1080P" i got rather excited, me and my other half were only playing the SNES version the other day and thought this would be great!! hhmmm, never mind.
Maybe a change of name is in order before u get out of the Beta stages, "Bomb Catcher" maybe, Bomberman will just make people thing about the other game, and then cause more flaming!!

I think you should change the name of your game because unless you give a homebrew running up to 4 little guys throwing bombs at each other and monsters in a labyrinth, you'll always get negative comments, why not call it "bomb catcher"?

For the rest, you earn the twat1 trophy (fancy that, it's platinum).You can't compare a homebrew developped by one person and an official game made by a team: time, number of people, ressources, SDK, experience are not the same, especially when it comes to 3D, I think you should try to code a homebrew and then you'll have the right to complain about "sh***y homebrews" as you say.
Therefore I think your anger is just there because of the name of the homebrew. You, as a member of this community should encourage homebrew coders to go further and improve their skills and software. Especially when it's a first release.

Great effort for a first crack, things can only improve from here.
Ignore the constantly moaning idiots as the only things they're currently contributing to the scene are insults and bull****.
Releasing homebrew that's even in very early and basic states is what we need more of because it helps the scene to flourish. Sharing code can inspire and help people get started themselves or to fork and improve existing projects.
I'd advise you change the name but other than that, keep it up!

yeh i have the 'real bomberman HD' game from the psn store a while back.
i was really hoping this game would kill it but it didn't.

Any further posts not relating to the homebrew game or creative criticism will be removed and the user will receive an infraction. Just because this isn't a up to par with a true ps3 game doesn't mean you need to flame the guy, the homebrew scene is still in its infancy at this point in time. I echo the sentiments that others have stated, if you want to complain about it then go make a better version of it yourself, and if you can't then please refrain from posting negative comments.

Hey, thank you, and there are obviously way too many rich kids hacking PS3s mommy and daddy got them on this scene. Having more people in the scene is good, but if all you want to do is "play backups" then stay off the forums please. Go play your PS3 games and have fun. I'm honestly really happy to see someone else brewing for the PS3. Would love to see more brew news, and less backup/hex changes on the scene in general. Every great company or computer manufacturing game started from where our homebrew scene is right now.. we are at the atari level in our homebrew.. we got the technology, soon enough we will be running at full ps3 level.
every little step is an important step..

Oh and i thought it was a great title for your first game. Look how much attention its already attracted.
