The SPOOFING feature will trick the PS3 games into thinking that you are running firmware 3.50 on your system.

I am having issues with the rockbox payload, "nano1g"
everything boots ok cept for the "unknown usb connected" but still in jailbreak mode.
im wasnt sure bout this one but i have original BM and all the backups does not show on the menu. not sure PL3 affects the directory, it still on GAMEZ folder. by the way this is the first time i use pl3 on my ipod.
anyone having the same issues?

Are you psfmod guys looking for the 3.50 spoof payloads or just psn? I have a working regular psn one on my motodroid now, and I'm about to try one of these I'll report back with results.

Spoof works but not compatible with open manager or any manager I've tired. My games are still on the drive but the managers can not see them. Otherwise testing on MOH Disc and is installing fine.

I think you're right, if it was spoofed 100%, then we should be able to get onto PSN that way.. Right? Xoeo's original patch is defo gonna result in bans, but they might cop onto this spoofing aswell since people will be using both and nobody's sure this is a full spoof and there's no other checks Sony can do.
I think once GT5 is released Sony might show their hand.. Be it compiled with 3.50 SDK or with a new firmware update.. Or both!

For those with Ipod issues (5g in my case)...
The timing of powering on the system was my problem. With the other payloads I have on my ipod all I had to do was have the ipod up and running and plugged in when powering up the system. However with this one you have to power up the system a little before the apple logo turns bright.
A video posted earlier shows the timing needed.
This threw me off for a bit, as with the other payloads there was no timing needed, and I would normally wait for rockbox to fully come up before turning on the system.

I can get the ps3 to boot using the x3 with its generic payload and minimus hex but it will not allow me to run any backup manager and run backups.
if I run the payload for hermes v4b and use the minimus or any of the other hexes the jailbreak will never work the leds both remain lit

Hi There Guys
I am desperatley searching and need of help. I, and as well as many others, have the PS3 Key. I've got the Silabs based one. I recently noticed the PS3key site, has updated the PSN Payload, but don't have the latest one with the 3.50 Spoof. Does anyone know where I can the "Latest Payload with 3.5 Spoofing", since I can't currently find it anywhere.
Will really appreicate your help, as we the PS3 key owners seem to be stuck.

Hey I am still on 3.15...
does this "3.50 spoof" allow me to play games like
Red dead Redemtion (requires 3.30) on my PS3? I am planning
to jb my PS with an ipod nano 1g and rockbox.
Can anyone tell me if this works and what I need to have installed etc.?

so....i tried this out last nite
rockbox iPod 1g...load the new "rockbox.ipod" file onto iPod
start-up the ps3, first thing i noticed...the time taken to start-up the ps3, took twice as long
then I firstly checked to see if the firmware had changed...it changed to 3.50(holding thumbs
so i try to load one of my games on the internal HDD..go into Backup manager, load game.
then i noticed that 1 of my games appeared as the file name "BLES01291"
none of my games would load
I haven't tried to go online, and i haven't tried a game that requires 3.50 (Call of Duty - BlackOps) but with these issues...not gona try untill theres a full proof hack
Is there anything im missing? or doing wrong?
anything u guys can suggest??
