Features
Choose what USB to use!
Redirect dev_flash to usb
Redirect app_home to usb
Dump LV2 kernel and mount points
…along with all the source code that does it!!!NOTE!!!: You need a payload with peek and poke syscalls (PL3 dev has this)
Usage
X – (Un)Patch /dev_flash as usb
Square – (Un)Patch /app_home as usb
Select – Dump lv2.bin & mounts.bin to usb
Up/Down – Change USB
Triangle – ExitThe dev_flash files have to be on the root of the USB drive to work, e.g. if E: is your drive, you should have E:vsh, E:vshmodules, etc…
Make a PS3_GAME folder on your USB for the thing in the Game menu to work.
App has some bugs, but it is my first PS3 program

Is this in English? I'm not exactly sure, but I think that JaicraB's USB FIRM LOADER was in Italian or something like that. If this is in English I might give it a go.

^^ if anything supports 3.50 wouldn't you think it would be like holy **** moment on front page saying 3.50 FIRMWARE NOW WORKS!
this just loads dev_flash from your current system on a USB storage Devices allowing for modifications since dev_flash is read only on the ps3 itself
also loads app_home from usb although not familiar with why maybe just to load homebrew easier? lol
can't test app now i'm at my dads house and his ps3 is 3.50 so gotta wait till tomorrow to test it out on my ps3 and hoping it works
never could get jaicrab to load (it would start move on xmb then freeze up and reset)

Says PL3 dev works, is that anything special? Like, I've a Nano 1G with PL3, never heard of a dev version..

pl3 has multiple payloads, if you compile from source, you'll see a bunch of different payloads to use, most default builds of pl3 use the dev payload though.

The scene has gone stale...before it was everyday amazing stuff now it's like...ehh...i mean good release and im going to check it out...but no more emulators i guess everyone is trying to crack the 3.50 curse lol

I take it as a good sign...most of the stuff that we have seen so far is stuff that can be written quickly (and has been written quickly). People are spending their time working on the hard problems now.

this is great news! this scene has only just started and its progressing really quickly, once we reach a stable version of cfw then this scene will really shine.. the main upgrades cfw will add wont just be new features like 3d from the firmware but it should support both hermes and pl3 exploit features and lock the exploit in place so u dont have to jailbreak ur ps3 everytime u reboot ur system!
sure we may still be waiting for more emulators to be released but as far as news goes they are already in development so considering they are already being wrked on must mean these app's will at least be released at some later date.
cfw is more important i think and its really good to no we are not far from it, so to me this news is almost as good as :canabis:

thx sir for the update.
the software is working great now, but when i try change font in ps3
and when i put font .ttf in USB root in
folder dev_flash\data\font
the software Freeze when i press Triangle to exit, is there right way to change font in ps3 or editor dev_flash folder
my ps3 fat 60GB ver3.41

If you just load a legal firmware (whitout hack)
can you than play online with the original Disc :D
