• Rogero Manager v7.7 Released

    Backup Managers, PS3 Hacks , 20.11.2010

    Rogero Manager is a modified version of Open Manager. Its design and functionality are very similar to that of Open Manager.

    Change log for v.7.6.0 through 7.7.0:

    7.7.0 – Direct_Boot Mode bug fixed, some code cleanup.
    7.7.0 – Stealth version now uses another Title ID that won’t conflict with any known game

    7.6.0 – Added a Function [L1+SQUARE] to Fix corrupted SFO files by the previous version/error “80028F14″.
    7.6.0 – Added a Stealth version of the Manager to be used Online for safer operation(BLES01031/CODBO)
    7.6.0 – SFO file patching fixed to work with all games & changed from Automatic to Optional.
    7.6.0 – Fixed a bug that caused “sfo” patched games to start sometimes in PATCH-MODE.
    7.6.0 – [PS3_SYSTEM_VERSION] detection compatibility fixed for all Payloads.
    7.6.0 – Permissions-Fix function changed from Automatic to Optional.
    7.6.0 – Added a new path for the Games folder [/dev_hdd0/game/GAIA01985/BDRIPS].
    7.6.0 – Last Game Played/Selected will be saved & selected by default on next run.
    7.6.0 – Patch-Mode/Direct-boot/Disc-Required options Disabled when Original Game is selected.
    7.6.0 – Free available Space on HDD is now checked before copying starts to avoid PS3 freezing problem.
    7.6.0 – Fixed a bug that sometimes showed an Empty Games List after Original Game is ejected.

      This is old news. Been using 7.7 with my p3go for about 5 days now. Personally think it's the most user friendly bm out there.

      hes right,it has been out on the site the dev resides at for about 5 days but it still deserves a mention here,this has got to be the nicest,clean and user friendly manager going,fully recommended to anyone.Ive just started using it myself and was very impressed with it and the fact that its always getting updated and its possible to talk and suggest things to rogero personally makes it top in my books.

      Just a word of warning,i deleted this and it wiped out all the games on my internal drive

      Before you delete any version of back up manager, open you ftp software and change the folder name that your backups are in. Them delete the app. Once you reinstall the new back up manager then just rename the folder to what the bm defaults to. You will need to delete the folder that was Installed first.

      Does this manager work alongside OM2.1-I and Gaia V1.3.

      Just tried it and it auto detects the folder currenly in use via other managers
      Brilliant
      Best looking manager i've used to date.
      Just makes it that bit nicer to use.

      There is no such thing as "Stealth version of the Manager to be used Online", when Sony wants to ban you they will!

      Only stealth version is to stay offline!

      When you stealth BM you are suppose to choose a game you dont have so when you have this installed you cant play CODBO as you are using the same place and will clash.

      Use a crappy game, that way as you probably don't have it it wont clash.

      Hey guys and girls,

      Seems black ops wasn't set up correctly, now it's corrupted my pkg files! Now my ps3 freezes when trying to acces the managers. I can't even boot a manager because it freezes right after pressing X on the unknown apps image... Can i uninstall all managers with a pkg file, or do i have to format my ps3? Anyone...

      Latest version 7.7 uses COD.MW2 instead of Black Ops, anyway using the Stealth version now had become obsolete as PSN is blocked again.

      Just wanna get back on my own reply... I just found out it wasn't COD BO, but it was AC Brotherhood loaded without disc that messed up my file system. Seems this has to be played with disc for now. Had to format my hdd twice to found this out! For all you guys; Play AC brotherhood with disc support!

      I really wish it was made more clear when installing this piece of **** that it OVERWRITES the original backup manager. I didn't realize this so when I went to delete this ridiculous app ALL MY BACKUPS were deleted! There goes a whole day of taking the time to back up my games because of this bull**** app. Thanks a lot Rogero.

      1- have you ever wondered why the package includes 2 installation files, each one have a specific installation folder exactly for this purpose.

      2- have you ever heard about ReadMe files, written specifically for ****** users like you who don't know what they are doing and expecting from the software to do the full home-works for them.
