• PS3 Dongle ID Key Generator

    Well, the master key is out and about now so here’s a convenient little application to generate your dongle id keys.

    Straight forward to use.

    Linux only – will compile a Windows build if needed.

    Generates a Dongle ID Key based on the Dongle ID provided.
    Usage
    ./p3kg
    Example
    ./p3kg 0xAABB

    Note: must be 2 bytes (4 characters) and prefixed with 0x
    I.e. 0x0AA will not work; 0x00AA will.

    When I wrote this I hard-coded the revoke list on graf_chokolo’s wiki so credits to him and all of his hard work.

    If you want source code, let me know – I’ll make a few changes – tidy it up and post it as well.

      Uses .NET 2.0

      Usage is very similar, except command is:

      Code:
      p3kgwn.exe 0xAAAB
      Replacing 0xAAAB with whatever device ID you like.

      I just got rid of my last Windows OS computer i just deal with mac and wont use bootcamp so if at all possable make it for a MAC thanks

      Why not use VMware fusion ?

      I use this myself to run xp & win7.

      And so, X3 can now gloat that they really did have the dongle master key.

      0x3BAD converts to

      2A 41 C2 93 F8 15 D8 91 65 6D C3 74 6D 0E 33 EC 7B 39 5B 92

      which happens to be in that stupid gif

      Nothing at all, except novelty. The ID is only used to enter service mode, which we can already do with the 0xAAAA device ID that is used in all the downgraders. All this does is allow us to change the device ID and still enter service mode. The dongle ID has absolutely nothing to do with the jailbreak exploit, as far as I'm aware.

      Here's the sourcecode to my version of the dongle generator thingy.

      USAGE:
      ps3keygen.exe [dongle-id-in-hex]


      Here's the usage, so an example would be "ps3keygen 0xAAAA", case doesn't matter.

      Output would be:
      Dongle ID: 0xAAAA
      Dongle Key: 044e611ba6a6e39a98cf35812c8068c7fc5f7ae8


      Hats off to KaKaRoTo and ps3yes for the AAAA dongle key and psfreedom, and graf_chokolo and Mathieulh for the master USB dongle key.

      It's a CLI (Command Line Interface) app, you need to run it a cmd window
