    Ive managed to get this compiled. Please be aware this is an old version of snes9x it was only compiled as a testing purpose!

      i hope i can get on my ps3 via sd card in 2 hours after backing up my hdd is complete. i haven't been able to get goehotz stuff on it yet.

      i think mednafen should be next. you can do so much more on then just a gba.

      and i been reading multiman or whatever its called may be the way to go as it doesn't require sys calls and just tries to run the exe. i could be wrong so please correct me if i am.

      Can you make a tut on what is needed for the signing tools to work correctly? I'm getting errors running make_self_npdrm. Openssl is installed.

      Why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free. I don't see what the big deal is. I see nothing wrong with piracy. It is what is is. So welcome to the new world order. Everyone pirates stuff. Geez. Look at Hackers they pirate stuff all the time. They crack the programming (reverse engineering); so we all can enjoy software, games, music all for free. Companies have became to over priced for their goods and services. So screw them. I see nothing wrong with the BM or ppl demanding it. Sony is gonna do whatever it wants and when it wants. So look at Geohot he cracked the code on the Iphone when he jailbroke it., Well jail breaking allows you to d/l premium stuff from the apple apps store for free. So how is that not the same as stealing from the developers?

      Copy the snes9x.pkg to the root of your USB Drive. Plug it into your PS3, then scroll over to games. Scroll down to "Install Package Files", hit and you should see the .pkg. Hit again to install it.

      For Roms, put those on the root of the USB Drive.

      Work fine for me tho nubers constantly in screen a bit anoying but still very good. works for me i just unziped my roms and put on root of memory stick. went down to usb then hit x and game was there

      It works. But when playing it has a long string of text and numbers across the screen. Does anyone know how to remove this while playing?

      Worked fine, took all of 2 minutes to install geohot's cfw and get the usb drive set up with the necessary files to install the cfw and the pkg.

      After installing the cfw my ps3 was beeping for a while and i was worried, then it shut itself off. Then I went to manually turn it on and it booted up just fine with the new 'install package' folder under games. I installed snes 9x with no errors. geohots other program would not install for me though.

      Snes 9x runs fine. No interface and annoying numbers, but this is great to get the hype going. Now we have physical proof of things working and that's great.

      I installed the program fine, but it keeps telling me "No ROMS" what are these ROMS and where can I get them? (Sorry its my 1st ever piece of Homebrew)

      So it plays emulators but isn't that pretty much the same as a backup manager as you are running a game from a storage device? Oh and if we play a SNES rom game we don't actually own isn't that piracy as well?

      Yes, its same app like backup manager, but for SNES games.

      And yes, even though you cant really make any damage to developers by downloading it. Itīs still a piracy and its still illegal :aetsch:

      Funny how geohot is against piracy and first app singed by his tools is this

      But yeah, we all know that he meant PS3 piracy, not a SNES piracy

      Hey, is there something I should know about the video settings? The game doesn't work on my PS3 slim, I run on HDMI to DVI-D on a 22" monitor that supports 1080p and the monitor says [INPUT NOT SUPPORTED]

      MultiMan working just fine.

      It allows to backup games, but unfortunately for now you can NOT play them as it exits to XMB as soon as you try to load the backup

      I think SNES9x is 480p. Maybe your monitor doesn't support that.

      okay i downloaded a game to usb put it into my ps3 ran snes9x scrolled down to usb option and nothing can someone please help me do this im sorry im new
