Just a little question...
How do I install these updates? Through the pkg installer? Decrypting and uploading via ftp to the installed folder? Thanks

After you download, put the PKG file on the root directory of your USB (formatted to FAT32), navigate to * INSTALL PACKAGE FILES (under GAME) on your ps3 and click on the appropriate one and install.

Great job though, I guess we really can't complain, so much has happened in the past few days.....
A suggestion though, will it be possible for something like this to get integrated into the Back up managers?

I've been wondering if updates need to be installed one by one according to version number like the PS3 normally applies them or if the latest patch incorporates the previous one?
Later updates are often smaller than earlier versions which would lead me to believe that they do in fact need to be applied in order.
EDIT
Well it would seem that attempting to patch a previous version only results in the PS3 telling you that it isn't necessary. I still can't help but wonder why later patches are often smaller and why the PS3 normally downloads and applies them one by one in order unless there was some reason for it.
The default method is beneficial in the case of something like Brutal Legend where 1.01 fixes things which 1.02 then proceeds to re-break but it still strikes me as odd coming from the viewpoint of PC games where developers are usually quite clear as to when a patch is a full one versus an incremental one.

It will skip already downloaded updates, assuming they're the same size, and you'll hvae the option of saving directly to a usb drive, or wherever you'll want.

My app requires .NET 3.0 to work.

You should declare instances correctly though. It seems to crash on Object reference not set to an instance of an object in the video.

there is a folder created called "PS3 Game Updater Updates" which places the updates, just put the updates on a usb, connect it to the ps3, then click on install packages and select the update you want to install.

just a little question, when you update a game on your ps3, say, you have version 1.0, and the current version is 1.4, the previous updates were 1.1, 1.2 and 1.3, the playstation downloads all 4 updates and then installs them, does this does the same or it only downloads the 1.4 update?

I tried this for 2 games. (GTA 4, Heavy Rain)

I download the update, install it via pkg installer (im on geo 3.55)... and then those games stop working... gta 4 couldnt load last save and HR just disappeared in xmb i couldnt even run the game.
Am I the only one having this problem? Or am I doing something wrong?
