This release will be for 3.41 Rebug, we are still trying to source a 3.55 Debug pup and then we will be able to release 3.55 Rebug right away as everything is ready to be ported over.

cant wait i have been on the rebug beta and had no probs with it just awaiting the full release and even better without dongle and even even better if they are trying to develop the 3.55 pup, i dont think that there will be any ntfs support not that it is really essential as u can fully format a hdd to fat 32 i am using a 1tb thats all fat32 just cant wait

I hate when people say "there is no real need for ntfs." Yeah, no need for you. I would love to be able to plug in my ntfs movie drives to play my 15GB 1080p mkv encodes. That would make the PS3 a true media center. And don't give me that crap about converting or streaming or transferring to the internal drive. I am fully aware off all of the lame options and workarounds to play mkvs. They are worthless to me. I'm not going to convert my 300 movies and I'm not going to split them for fat32 and streaming 1080p sucks....and my ps3 hard drive is for games and game data...not movies. That's what my movie hard drives are for.

That's good they had the beta but they said it was all buggy and stuff so I waited and now that it's almost out I'm excited. Don't really know what to expect from rebug but more features is always a good thing.

Ya...I think now there is 3 cfw out...and all of them so far...do exactly the same thing. So no....there is no "best" cfw. I'm still waiting for a cfw that won't "need" a program just to boot a backup. I mean I think it's nice now that we don't need a jailbreak usb anymore...but what else is there to add??? Nothing. It's why I have not updated to cfw yet...I see no reason to other then the nice simple thing of just throwing away my jailbreak usb. Other then that there is no reason for me to update, I guess maybe to play newer games except for the fact that I have had an unbelievable amount of annoying errors when trying to play older games. Not every game works, I get video display errors all the time. And games locking up on me. So really...there is no point unless we somehow get rich and be able to buy an HD tv for the games to actually "work" also I got 3 "signed" programs for 3.41 that are working fine and not needing to jailbreak my system to play the games I got on my hdd is really nice right now. So since I already got signed programs AND the ability to play my backups without jailbreaking. Right now I am pretty much set unless a "real" cfw is released that has apps or somthing BIG that will get my attention....like lets say...being able to play ps2 and ps1 backups. Now THAT would get my attention and then I would certainly upgrade to cfw. But until such time, I will remain on 3.41. lol Sorry for my rant but I couldn't help it.

I can play all the games I ripped back on 3.41 on PSN now.
These developers bust their ass to give us the ability to do things with this system we'd have never of believed a year ago. And they do it for free..
Then some snot nose punk wants to cry about 'why can't it do this?' and "thats not good enough for me"

Sorry I haven't posted in the last few days but we have been really busy working on the next release of Rebug.
This next release will be Jailbreak Free so no more use for a dongle!
Also in this release you will be able to install debug and retail pkg's!
We are currently finalizing the peek/poke patching then we will release =)

If you have a NOR Flasher and would like to test this before public release, or if you want to take a risk and possibly BRICK before public release you can contact Cyberskunk or myself :P If you are going to be one of the risk takers please note that we have taken every precaution so the system will not brick, but sometimes **** happens. We will only accept a few risk takers due to the nature of this release.

Lastly, I never said that I want a dev to give me what I need, nor have I expressed that my needs are the most important. My point was addressed to those who shrug off the application and benefit ntfs would have. Sorry, but to me, those are the people who don't have a clue. Would ntfs benefit a lot of people? Yes. Is it absolutely necessary? No.

You heard Evilsperm! do not request to test if you don't have the NOR flasher!
assume the risk is maximum, its not a probability! it will happen!! if you assume that, only by having a nor flasher you will be safe.
Do not request to test if you cant handle what might happen, we have enough bricks as it is, they won't be responsible for what happens to your machine.

Well. let's be honest here. He may be good at what he does, but by no means the best from what I have seen. and at least if he does leave, there will be more room for genuine devs as his massive ego won't block out the Sun anymore
