Developer Ole has released version 7 for his Commodore Amiga 500/1000/2000 emulator. The new updates as follows:

- harddisk file can be mounted/unmounted in options menu
- fix for multiple simultaneous keyboard key pressesr6
- bugfix release (fixed processor core switch, couple of other glitches)
- added 800% floppy speed option
- added QUIT E-UAE optionr5
- updated to the latest E-UAE 0.8.29-WIP4 source code.
- support for harddisk files
- suport for save-states and save state thumbnails
- modified options dialog (more options are now configurable)
- support for drive sound (new feature that was not finished in WIP4 code)
- RETURN key added to the virtual keyboard
- left analog stick can be used to emulate joystick (R3 switches between mouse and joystick
mode of the left analog stick)
- fixed 2 controller mode: now 2 mice can be emulated as well.
- options dialog hooked up as an euae’s gui interfacer4
- unpublished release, vsync modifications

Never had any problems with any prior releases of this but whenever I try to select the Kickstart ROM it just freezes my PS3.
More investigation is needed.

Am having the same problem what Relikk is having. When ever i click on my Kickstart ROM the PS3 freezes so i have to hold down the power button.
It's doing it with every Kickstart i have got. When i add my Kick start in the UAE.CFG file. The Kickstart is not booting up at all!!!
I say it's a bug?

oops yeah my bad.
Yeah I did find the emulator was very picky in regards to which kickstart Rom image I used, I own Amiga Forever and none of those roms works, yet I managed to find one online that did, odd.
Unless it has something to do with the Amiga Forever one's have a key that maybe the emulator doesn't recognise.

I can't put a link for the file as it's not allowed, previously put a link to games, but wasn't aware it broke the rule, however what I can say is I googled kick13.rom and found one on Megaupload that did work.
It seems to be very particular about the rom file though.

FYI: If the file is called kick13.rom is not the same as KICK13.ROM
The path of the config file is case sensitive AFAIK
Mine is called 39.116

I see why it's not working now!!!
The name of the rom as got to be "kick13.rom" not "Kick13.rom"
It was the k what was doing it. You have to rename the rom with a small k not a big K.

Still can't get this to run. Every Kickstart freezes my PS3 and the config file isn't reading from the paths I've specified. I'm going to wait for a full, non-WIP release.

Must be run from the right hand USB port else won't work

Works fine for me, all on internal drive.
Not sure why your all having trouble, maybe bad kick.roms or
incorrectly named roms. Perhaps you need to check the config file
a bit more.
