WHERE IS NINTENDO 64 EMULATOR!
I'm pretty sure only everyone wants that and it hasn't happened yet.

N64 isn't even close to running 100% so as much as I would like it, I really don't want it unless it is improved and if Wetrix works...
Thanks for the great releases guys!

I wish people would stop saying things like "where's the N64 Emulator?!" as if somehow they've been done a great injustice by the developer.
but that's probably a massive job. Hopefully we'll see hardware 3D support under Linux at some point so it can run there. (most likely via the open source nouveau driver)
Just for the record, Emulators are *amazingly* complicated things. Writing an emulator for a system such as the N64 is even harder than writing a compiler. A task unto itself that most programmers could not manage.
Any emulators you'll see on the PS3 are going to be ports of existing emulation code written for other systems which means most likely that an N64 emulator will be based upon the existing emulators 1964 or Project64.
Thank you to the developer of the Snes9x and FBANext ports, thanks to you my PS3 feels more like my old Xbox every day (this is a good thing!)
If only someone were willing to do a GameOS port of XBMC
************* [ - Post Merged - ] *************
(unless of course it were possible to run Linux *under* GameOS, perhaps it would be possible to make GameOS calls from linux-land. Then you could map GameOS GL functionality into a linux GL driver.. just a thought)

Please Please Please add button config to FBANext!!!!
It is such an awesome emulator, but CPS3 titles and other games are virtually unplayable due to weird mappings....

Does FBANext or snes9x have support for usb keyboards? Then I could use my Xarcade stick without having to buy a Ps3 adapter.
Also, It's really annoying that people seem to only reply to whining posts like "Y ISN'T THIS WORKING" and "THEY NEED TO MAKE THIS!!1!!!".
That's just my two cents.

Stop moaning, their are only a handful of games on N64 worth bothering with and most of them are available on virtual console. Trust me i know, i have Game Doctor v64 with a complete romset, they dont age well. Playing 3rd strike on 32"/1080p with my madcatz IV fight stick is just heavenly. Dip switch support very welcome addition. GUI update would be sweet, but not essential.

I hate the way people think it's ok to bash all the people that ask for those emulators it's something that they will eventually get but really there is no reason for both just seriouslly watch the home page amd wen it comes out it will be there. be patient and everyone bashing them is wanting it just as bad. but may understand things a little better. everyone chill out

Love your work, this is truley great!
Is it possible to add more Namco roms support to FBANext, i miss my Rolling Thunder (Robocop would be nice too), which is strange since Galaga is Namco as well & it runs in FBANext.
The aboves all work on pc with mame.
Oh Samurai Showdown also works in FBANext (Neo Geo) which i would have thought harder to get running than the Namco titles above!
Bubble Bobble & Galaga will keep me occupied in the meantime.
Thanks again!
Blurry
Edit: Oh & people having issues with no roms found, the FBANext-rom(s) dir never worked for me, i just copied my roms into the apps rom dir on hd0 (/games/fban000/user-dir/roms) or somesuch...

Haven't had time to test this yet but am glad for more updates. Interesting to hear that Galaga works, couldn't get mine to run at all. Guess I have the wrong Galaga rom set.
