• MagicPKG v0.3 Beta Released

    Backup Managers, Homebrew, PS3 Hacks , 24.03.2011

    The application developed by Alegoría, MagicPKG, which lets you easily create PKG’s has been updated.

    This will let you launch a game directly from the HDD without using a manager, such as multiMAN.

    MultiMAN has a similar tool too. It is provided from its archives called eboot.pkg.

    NOTE: Nothing new has been added but they have fixed a few bugs users were having in v0.2 beta.

    Changelog:

      Yes, some games will give you a black screen. People are currently working on a way to fix that. :P

      what determines the install directory?

      edit: sorry perhaps i should clarify,
      what determines where the game will be installed to? is it the package installer or is it down to the pkg to specify where to install to?

      Could someone please give a quick guide on how to use this?

      I've tried with Fifa 11, launch the game from the xmb and after a few seconds get thrown back to the xmb.
