* Removed prompt/requirement for BD game disc when launching BSG games
* Added: [START]+[R2] to screen capture in RGB RAW format (to /dev_hdd0 or usb)
* Added: support for games without PIC0/1/2.PNG (delete cache folder)
* Added: “launch” pkg files from File Manager (install manually from XMB)
* Added: Refresh/delete/copy won’t change currently selected game in the list
* Fixed: shadow copy function in File Manager ([R3])

Yes, I would also like to know if BSG games means Black Screen Games or Battle Star Galactica or what. I also have a broken drive and wish that split games worked.

Black Screen Games = BSG
Just tried it. When doing Select + X it isn't required anymore to have a game disk in.
I'm testing atm but Tekken 6 still gives black screen. Now trying Red Dead Redemption.
EDIT: RDD jumps back to XMB after launching with Select + X, just like before.
Haven't noticed any difference so far launching with just X of with Select + X.
Both games DO work from Internal HDD by the way.
EDIT2: Killzone 2 also blackscreens still.
Is there anyone who has any of these games working from External HDD?

Why are you using multiman if it requires a disc in the ps3 to run games and you have broken BD-s so you can't get it to work and are getting black screens ?
I am using since the beginning (when my BD died ) rogero manager and i run all of my games without any problems without any discs .....
EDIT: List of games that i have and i never had any problems :
Pes 2011, Dragonball z : raging blast 2, resistance : fall of man, assasin's creed : brotherhood, army of two : the 40th day, resident evil 5 gold edition, red dead redemption.

Version MultiMAN 1.15.05 is the last version that can play Backub Games.
The New Multiman Versions need a extra File "BDEMU-355KM" that can be found on internet if you want to play your Backub Games. It was removed from the Manager becose of fear from Sony i think.

Yes, I am aware of that. I did install the BDEMU after installing Multiman.
And other games do work, like FIFA11, Dragonball Z, Test Drive Unlimited 2.
But the games I mentioned before only work from internal. From external I get a black screen despite the Select + X function.

Starting Dead Rising 2 ( with BDEMU+newest version of multiman ) with Select + X from my USB is giving me a ugly Black Screen .... any solution for this problem ?
P.S.: Dead Rising 2 is one of the games which are working only from external, otherwise it freezes at the loading screen.

hi!
I'm having a problem after version 1.16.03.
every game works perfectly usb external (FAT32)
BUT ... every game in the internal HD does not work!
example I click on the Killzone 3 and the game does not appear in XMD, if you use the BD ex: Bad Company 2, even choosing the Killzone 3 game that appears is the Bad Company 2!
But if I go back to version 1.15.0.... all games on internal HD back to normal functioning.
Someone have any idea what could be?

LV2 patcher is only for backup managers that don't auto patch on startup. Multiman should be the first app you run on your PS3 to make sure it patches properly. Hermes backup manager for 3.55 needs you to select Syscall 36 from Lv2 before running to work, since it doesn't auto patch.
Gaia 2.07 and I think Rogero 8+ both auto patch also.
Deank has to be applauded for his amazing effort, by the time I install an update it's always a couple revisions later. Such decication!

Yes you do, you can always install the BDEMU.pkg, then you wont have to do that.

Maybe I misunderstood.
But anyway. Not sure anymore about Red Dead Redemption. But I'm positive Tekken 6 did not have any 4GB+ files. And still it gives a black screen from external, while it does work from internal.

How do you get the pkg's from xmb to multiman? I have Need for Speed:HP and Dead Rising 2 working with pkg's internally. But how do i add it to multiman?

This may sound n00bish but since I haven't done it before in the past I got to ask. I am using a Multiman thats just a few versions back, would getting this and installing this by any chance delete the backups I got? I just wanted to make sure it won't screw up that sort of thing. ALSO I wanted to ask is this not as sensitive, for some reason the one I'm using is uber sensitive, its one of the "up and down" versions of Multiman, not across the screen. So I'm asking if you can go to each game and it will actually go to it instead of scrolling across to the other games super fast? Because thats the issue we got with the Multiman we are using. I am dying to get an updated version that isnt sensitive and be able to keep my backups. I don't want anything screwing up. I am uber paranoid.
Oh I don't want to hear people saying games are getting black screens....isn't an updated version suppose to be better? I guess not huh?
Oh what does it mean by screen capture exactly? Screen shots? Who would want that? lol Maybe a video recording makes more sense. ;p Wait....actually...could be a better way to grab sprites from King of Fighters 12...or the only way to grab them, so nevermind it IS a good idea. That interests me mostly.
fyi--the reason I'd kill for a video recording is because I don't have one of thise video capture cards for my computer or the cord...so I can't record gameplay or anything for my ps3 games. So ya a "video" capture would be down right epic.

I installed this new release and tried to backup a couple of games but the backups froze at 100% i had to do a hard reset 2 times...
Any idea of what could have happenned?.
I´m using a PS3 Slim and this Multiman version

USING SELECT+X and still getting the black screeeeeen!! using the dongle jailbreak +multiman 1.16....any solution for that game...by the way all other games (fifa2011,need for speed..etc)work fine!
