If you can use PS3MFW Builder 0.2, then you can add OtherOS++ support to your Rebug CFW, the rebug guys have released a .tcl task file, here is a tutorial on how to use it:
CREATE OTHEROS++ ENABLED REBUG FW:
If you want to OtherOS++ enable REBUG we have provided the .tcl task file for patching the Lv1 Hyperviser with PS3MFW Builder 0.2. It is the EXACT patch_lv1.tcl from gitbrew.org minus the lv1 memory mapping as it is already patched in REBUG. We can not take any credit for the task file or PS3MFW Builder 0.2 Portable. We have provided them at the bottom of this post for your convenience as we didn’t fell releasing a new PUP just to add these patches was necessary.1: Add the .tcl file to the tasks folder of PS3MFW Builder 0.2. It will appear as OtherOS++ Lv1 Hypervisor patches for REBUG in the task list.
2: Deselect ALL tasks except OtherOS++ Lv1 Hypervisor patches for REBUG.
3: Use REBUG firmware as your input firmware.
4: Select output directory and filename.
5: Click on Build MFW
6: Rename output PUP to PS3UPDAT.PUP and install on the PS3.
OR
1: Download PS3MFW Bulder 0.2 Portable Win32 from the bottom of this post
(All of the tasks have been pre-selected for you).
2: Click on ps3mfw.exe
3: Use REBUG firmware as your input firmware.
4: Select output directory and filename.
5: Click on Build MFW
6: Rename output PUP to PS3UPDAT.PUP and install on the PS3.
Your new REBUG PUP will have the same OtherOS++ compatibility as OtherOS++ CFW.

I have made the pup mfw portable needs to be on the root of your c:\ and you need active tcl. Look at the requirements for MFW builder.

Hello Cyberskunk,
First off, I have to commend you on the REBUG firmwares, that are totally boss.
Now, I have a question for you. Like a schmuck, I ran boot otheros++ on my NAND PS3 without realizing these tools were only for the NOR PS3s.
Yet, it was my belief that the otheros++ prep tools would write something to /dev/flash, but the homebrew application booth otheros++ would not touch /dev/flash.
Now, I have a bricked NAND unit, that exhibits a green light of death, with no video, no audio, and no controller synchronization.
In short, am I pwned now to be doomed with this bricked unit, or do you know of a way to get around this?
I have tried everything from formatting my drive, to disassembling the unit and removing the CMOS battery.
thanks and keep up the great work,

Hi Pockets, I went there the other day, and talked to a guy named DirtyJerz, he was quite helpful but told me this problem was well above his paygrade.

I also apologize if I am spamming this thread!
I dont mind eventually getting a infectus and installing it. Tet, before I do all that I need to make sure that I could use it to reprogram the NAND given that I do not have a backup of a working one, as well as make sure I have exhausted all of my current options
best,
