• Dean has updated his multiMAN yet again, it is still the same version number, but with added FCEUltra support, here is a quote from the recent changes:

If you’re on any previous version – I suggest that you update to the latest multiMAN.

Is there a tutorial for updating MM manually and automatically?
      Thanks

Wow I wasn't going to update Multiman but now...now I might since now it has most of the good emulators in it. I mean wow why have them seperate if they are all in one place? lol Oh I was gonna ask if it scans for the emulator folder and roms folder..so we dont have to move them at all? Wait Does this Multiman "install" those emulator folders inside the game folder? Or do we have to put those folders in there our selves?

It'll actually work both ways: When you reinstall the MM version of the emus, it'll recreate the PS3 XMB icons, but also show up in the MM XMB under retro as a ROM list. On a side note, I'm not seing VBA in the pack. Can anyone point me to the ver. compatible with MM on Rebug 3.55.1? No rush.

Edit: Installed the 2.00.03 full instead of the update (huuuurrhuuuurrr). Fixed it now, working fine. Awesome app. =D

And to answer your questions Rax909: It only refreshes the list of ROMs when you select the option to do so from MM's menu. By default it scans the folder dev_hdd0/game/XXXX#####/roms/, where XXXX##### = either FCEU90000, GENP00001, SNES90000, or VBAM90000, when you select refresh. This means you either have to change the default folder in order for the ROMs to be detected, or just move them into /roms. And it's not MM that installs them, they are installed as normal from XMB as .pkg files, but yes, are installed into dev_hdd0/game/ automatically, same as previous versions. I think that covers all our bases. Have fun!

If we already have these emulators installed, would it be safe to say we can uninstall them and just use Multiman?

Doesn't anybody know how to use the options.ini file? I know most do, but if you have been using this backup manager for a while and still haven't figured out how to use it you should really take some time and learn how to, it is very customizable and easy to do. You can pretty much put them where ever you would like to, just change the location in the options.ini file. Take the time to make the most of your PS3 and the homebrew released for it, you will love it that much more.
