We believe strongly that homebrew does not equal piracy, if you download this, please do go to http://humblehomebrew.com and at the very least sign the petition.
Thanks goes to a whole lot of people out there; you know who you are.

Hmm.. weird, when I try to open it using the latest VMPlayer it tells me it's a "Windows 2003 server standard edition" and complains with the following message when I started it: "This kernel requires an x86-64 CPU and detected only an i686 CPU. unable to boot - please use a kernel apropriate for your CPU."
I do have an x86-64 CPU (Intel P4 3.6 HT) running Windows 7 x64 Ultimate..
Edit: just tried it with latest VirtualBox and it shows the same problem.. (also set guest OS to Linux Fedora)..

In vbox I selected "Linux Fedora 64-bit"
At least that one brings me past the kernel complaint.
Now where are the examples? And how do I start learning? I would like to learn how to put stuff on the screen, cursor, letters, blobs, lines, beziers, etc.
How much memory do you find appropriate for this kind of work? Mine is now at 256MB

Ah crap, I just read it needs EM64T AND VT for 64bit support, and guess what, I'm just missing out on the VT.. I've got a P4 660 and VT was added in the 662.. grrrr............. I hate this sht....

Then you are probably not running your host OS in 64-bit.

LOL, with VMWare Fusion under Mac, the "psl1ght-dev.vmx" is directly recognized (it's a seen as a Fedora linux image
), logged in as user & playing with it a bit ^^

YOSH, it's awsome thank you guys for this awsome big job & nice idea
I'll try later with VirtalBox too, and say what's up back here
Oh and thanks ps3hax

ok for VBox

just wanted to ask how to run/make examples ? (as i followed tuts from here: http://psl1ght.dashhacks.com/lesson02/index.php but no "ps3/dev/DeadRSX/Template" directory => is it only visible when connected to ps3 viaftp or what?
Im mean: must we deploy all added libs (toolchain, ps3 libraries, psl1ght, SDL...) by making them, or is it already done?
thanks
Edit:
do you have this Boot message: Bringing up eth0 does not.....initialization. (Failed) ==> but internet works on my mac... no browser under VM.
Edit2: nah, just understood that all things're already been compiled (toolchain & so on ...). i did it again and it really takes 5 hors ^^ Examples run good
