Anyone know how compatible is the "Start Game (disc-less) to games category" option compared to kmeaw/mulitiman?

If anybody installs Bitsbubba (NFW) for 3.55 Firmware before me.
Please post ,how it went 4 u ...
Since i am in no rush, someone may try it out there b4 me..
Lots of good things have been patched sounds really good .
Been waiting 4 something good to install on my new PS3
Not saying there are not any good CFW MFW ,etc out there .
I like what he has done here.
+Me wanting to setup my new PS3 on CFW is getting me itching ,lol
I watch a lot of movies & the annoying protection by by is a ++
Since we who own movies ,have the right to watch them on our ps3 !
As a whatever extension file we want rip our movie.
Regardless of what the bad guys think = I like freedom ..
Yes it seems the same as others ...
Retail ,debug pkgs , being i have a collection of both ..

The whole useless icon removal is a pretty nice feature for those of us that like to clean up their xmb. Good show.

Now we need a noob-friendly linux distro...something that installs and configures itself for PS3 settings with only the few clicks required to start loading any OtherOS installer, and then installs and configures a few things like VLC and GIMP for best performance. And of course, it changes the browser homepage and wallpaper to PS3Hax.

Question: I have a ps3 with 3.56, should i update it to 3.66?
I see everyone is still doing the 3.55FW and people talking about 3.66, but no one is talking about 3.56?
Any way to downgrade 3.56 to 3.55?

nfw = noob friendly firmware
mfw = built with mfw maker (same as cfw)
cfw = custom firmware
(all he did was change the name)

hello nice job on this fw, does it use the 3.66 spoof??

Respect bobbyblunt and others for that, all working well so far, a part from the sound spike on startup.
Note to newbies, reinstall ofw first if your coming from a cfw to install the ps3hax firmware or any other cfw or you will most likely brick your ps3, its not the firmware it just the way it is.
Just a heads up on this as people will come screaming they have a blue screen of death, and blame ps3hax if they try their firmware.

The reason I didn't include 3.66 spoof is it can be done easily (and safer as it's uninstallable) with REBUG spoofer, I renamed app_home/PS3_GAME to "Start Game (disc-less)" for a more newbie friendly understanding, "The Homebrew Channel" was added as a tribute to 2 members of failOverflow, who happen to also be members of Team Twiizers. However I did find a bug and have fixed it & uploaded new link complete with checksums:

Can someone please give me a little guidance? I installed this firmware over 3.41 OFW, and now I can't get my Phat unit to boot into the jailbreak. It isn't bricked or anything, and I am fairly certain that it flashed properly as I see the homebrew channel in the icons, but nothing works because my PS Jailbreak will not activate.
Should I have flashed 3.55 OFW first before flashing this release? If so, what can I do to correct that? Do I need to downgrade and come back up?
Thanks, just don't want to damage things further and just want to understand the procedure a little better.
Thanks, please advise!
