    As promised, here is my weekly PS3 Homebrew release! Today’s release is Charlie the Duck.

    Controls:

    • SQUARE – JUMP/BACK IN MENU
    • TRIANGLE – DASH
    • START – MENU (IN GAME)
    • CROSS – SELECT IN MENU

    I had to disable sound to get this to run at a playable speed. There are some parts where it slows down a bit, but it’s still completely playable and insanely fun if you like platformers. as always, R3 must be pressed after the splash screen if you want to use the PS3 controller instead of a keyboard/mouse.

      lol, was playing this just this morning XD if you select no b/g's (in game) it runs loads smoother, do you wanna pm me your next planned title so we're not working on the same games?

      Sorry Samson, I didn't know you were also working on this one.

      I really don't have a list, I'm just processing requests when I see them, or packaging up games that I'd like to see on the PS3. If you have a list, feel free to PM me so I don't duplicate your efforts.

      I don't really follow the DOSBox ports, but +1000 Rep for the 'README' in the rar.

      sorry superfurry i'm doing something really cool .. an idea i've been playing about with for a while, its gonna enable people to make compile and edit simple games.. i know coding on ps3 isnt everyone's cup of tea but it is a easy way to distribute the needed tools, the piracy/abandonware call is out the window and if i am having fun with it others will.

      its time we had a proper dos revival.. i'll make a preview pkg later and an ideas/brainstorming thread, i have a few

      did you try disabling the in-game background? it kills the lag on charlie the duck.. i dont know if you can change it so it starts as default.

      keep pressing F1 @ startup gives you switches i think you could guess work it from that to add it to your script.

      sorry for bumping.. you may find this handy for any future projects...

      lines are 1 pixel going to use it with tyrian 2000 v2 (almost a new updated game with all the features via cheats, just cleaver mapping) , i do hope your not going to stop making dos ports because of that dos2ps3 tool , i noticed this thread is two weeks old now

      i dont know about you but me, i seriously dont care one tiny bit if a few real "devs" or sceners look down on what we do, but if they do its their problem not ours i'm still having loads of fun making various dos game ports and i'm not going anywhere anytime soon i trust your not.. so if you need help with anything just drop me a pm. that go's to anyone making dos ports, as the saying go's the devils in the details >.<
      another idea i've had is with a bit of nifty scripting and/or bat files or "choice" i think that multi game pkg's are possible not looked into it yet, i'd love to get your input on this.. anyway its best us numptys all stick together and help if we can when asked

      [MENTION=143005]superfurry[/MENTION] so sorry bud i didnt see your post, i've been having strange wifi problems

      delete your mapper file and restart and save a new one (a new one will be created if you messed it up) .. IT DOES WORK .. but also try these in your dosbox.cfg , it should improve any game.

      Code:
      fulldouble=false

      memsize=8 (yes, believe it or not dropping down does help it run better)

      frameskip=1 (because your eyes wont notice)
      aspect=true
      scaler=2xsai (nice for the jaggyz ;)

      core=dynamic
      cputype=auto
      cycles=auto

      joysticktype=auto
      timed=false
      autofire=false
      swap34=false
      buttonwrap=false
      p.s.
      i've got flashback planned after tryian 2k v2(xmb music), and [MENTION=191563]Mr.Goodfrag[/MENTION] & superfurry or any of my other friends.. none of the above tongue in cheek is not aimed at you guys but i feel it needed putting out there just so you knows.

      bugs yous laters XD
