We haven’t heard a lot of progskeet recently. They have just announced progskeet as solderless. On top of that, they have also announced a dual nand setup. Progskeet seems to be getting better over time.
We are happy to introduce you the SOLDERLESS KITS for our ProgSkeet device!
The main word is “BE FLEXIBLE” as ProgSkeet project will be the BEST TOOLKIT for the NAND and NOR flashing!!!
We present today the NAND TOOL KITS, in few days we will be ready also with NOR TOOL KITS!!! Stay Tuned
1 – PROGSKEET is 100% PIN to PIN compatible with the SOCKET tool sold from this site http://www.360-clip.com
Just connect the ProgSkeet 32 pin special flat cable. (please note that this version don’t support programming or reading with out the device is powered on. A new version will be released with the VCC pad to manage NANDS with a self power provided from PROGSKEET) 360-clip.com and also us we will offer this socket in a package together with the 20 cm 32 PIN flat cable.2 – ADAPTOR PCB: This pcb is an adaptor from 50PIN ZIF PROGSKEET CONNECTOR (necessary for the coming “NOR SOCKET” solderless tools) to 2 x 32 PIN ZIF connector. With this adaptor progskeet is able to manage 2 NANDS on the DEVICE and also extra 2x SECONDARY NANDS (for dual nand feature). The kit include the 50 pin flat cable from PROGSKEET to ADAPTOR PCB.
3 – NAND PCB: This “optional” pcb has a 1Gbit NAND flash on board. Progkseet is able to use it like a backup nand or switch this nand and use it instead the NAND on the board of the device. The feature called “DUAL NAND” allow to support different NANDs ONLINE and test firmwares in a easy fast way. The software will be ready soon to support this feature, user can also attach a switch to progskeet to allow a fast selection of the NANDs without using the PC tool.
Progskeet support max 2 x NAND PCB on each ADAPTOR PCB, the kit include a 32 PIN 3CM flat cable (from NAND PCB to NAND SOCKET)You can see a FULL PROGSKEET KIT SAMPLE where is clear how is the complete kit with 2x NANDS PCB and 2x NANDS SOCKETS (on the picture miss one socket sorry J ) but I think the concept is clear.
The big advantage of PROGSKEET is that can work on ANY CONSOLE / DEVICE, is study to be MODULAR and so is MUCH CHEAPER then any other solution that is specific addressed to a device.
The nice special FLAT CABLES are also easy to be fitted inside the device without bit problems, and also the KIT is removable in few minutes and is not PERMANENT.
We remember that PROGSKEET is an OPEN PROJECT study to be used in many kind of devices CONSOLES, SATELLITE, IPHONES, PENDRIVERS etc etc. “PROGSKEET NOTHING MORE THAN A GOOD NAND / NOR PROGRAMMER”.
We will send tomorrow more infos and pictures regarding PROGSKEET V1.1 “CRYSTAL BLUE LIMITED EDITION” in production in these days and available in the market soon!
Nice news also about the PROGSKEET software, that now support new nice features.

Boy, for a moment there I was getting upset since I just preordered the E3 Flasher and I was also looking for a way to flash my 360. But as I read, the 360 clip is for NAND when I require a NOR tool for my PS3 Slim.

It's great that they'll be releasing a NOR tool, but I'm just glad I have no reason to feel like I made a bad choise with the E3 Flasher.
Nice to see that the no solder option is becoming more popular.

Good thing they joined with 360-clip to speed up the production. Our posts about 360-clip helped i guess...
I will compare e3 flasher and progskeet later in terms of pricing...

So let me get this straight, I can now buy a solderless (at least that's how I read it the dirt time around) chip which supports dualbooting so that I can switch between OFW and cfw?
Cuz if so that's what's up. But I just want to make sure I read fine

any1 knows if NOR version will cost also 50 and is it truth that those 1GB can b used for 2nd FW instead of another HDD and if yes for OFW, CFW or both???

Sorry Noob here...
Can this hardware can it be attached to a Fat PS3 running ofw 3.70, then downgraded to ofw 3.55, and then be removed from the PS3? or will it need to stay connected? I do NOT want the ability to dual boot!
Thanks in advance

they should have showed where they connect that long ass thing on the ps3. lol great news nonetheless.
on another topic, i emailed and got a response from the e3 team about how they should just make a downgrader for people that dont need the hot swap option of dualbooting cuz its too expensive, that way peoiple can save money, the person who emailed me said they were going to make one that does just that but they need time. so i guess i dont know wanna wait and will buy my flasher with the rest of ya

Ok I have a few questions, but im also a 100% qualified noob so please be patient if these questions are stupid. It is also my first time posting on a forum on any website.
1. What do I need?
2. My version is 3.6, i like the idea of solderless. so should I update to 3.7?
3. When i download firmware for ps3 does it go up in steps like 3.6,3.61,3.62 and so on or will it just update from 3.6 to the latest firmware in one?
4. Do I need the socket tool from 360-clip.com?
5. Do I need the adapter PCD?
6. What does it do?
7. What is the dual nand feature and what does it enable me to do?
8. What is the nand PCB, what does it do and should I get it?
9. After I downgrade the firmware, do I then still need to buy a dongle e.g. ps jailbreak?
10. I was also thinking of modding my 360, although I'm unsure as I remeber xbox's getting banned just before the release of modern warfare 2. What are the chances of them banning more before the release of MW3.

2. Just update to 3.7, it wont make a deference
3.? i dont really get this one :P When you update your ps3, it goes to the latest version available
4. I have no idea
5." "
6. Flashes your nand, basically allowing downgrading any firmware, but the syscon check stays the same, so you will have to use a special FW like regero's that has lv0 patched to block syscon checks. The 360-clip is just a solderless option for phat/nand ps3's
7.IDK
8." "
9. LOL, you have not needed a dongle for a while now :P, a CFW does not need a dongle , only dongle worth getting is "Cobra-USB" since it adds features CFW's dont currently have.
10... again dont know what you mean? are you talking about 360 or ps3?.. With progskeet after downgrading your not going to be able to play online, unless you flash back to OFW 3.7, or the dual nand feature, allows dual boot. Then you could boot to OFW and play online. But you will need a official modern warfare 3 disc
