      Niiiiccce.

      Here's an easy tip;

      put PS3 HDD as the first option to browse files, dev_bdvd second. Noone uses dev_bdvd as it doesn't work.

      Showtime for multiMAN is updated to version 3.1.231.g9cfc9.dirty. You can also update it within multiMAN.

      Thanks to andoma for this nice release, adding support for multichannel audio on the PS3.

      I don't know about you guys, but this update is actually WORSE for me. All my videos that have 7.1 audio support now have NO sound and some of the films with 7.1 support don't even want to play! As in black screen AND no audio. I'm talking about .231 version through multiman.

      Can anybody help me here? I can't really see if this version's better if I have problems like these. Thanks!

      Well I don't have 7.1 files to test with but 5.1 work just fine. I guess andoma will fix the problem you have.

      Would you like me to upload a sample on my server and put a link here? Or is that forbidden?

      And yeah, 5.1 works fine.

      I talked with andoma and he is aware of 7.1 channels problems, PCM 7.1 channels should work while DTS and AC3 aren't working at all and are downmixed to 5.1 channels.

      You don't need to change any setting, Showtime will automatically detect if it can play in 5.1 channels

      Something I noticed: I played DivX video with 5.1 AC3 audio and my receiver showed 5.1 DTS via optical. I guess it is something in the audio driver configuration in showtime.

      But it works so I'm happy.

      AAC, 4800 Hz, stereo is now not working with the new update, there is a screeching sound, but other mkv files are ok. Rmvb is stuttering.

      I actually tested this release with an 720p x264(h264) AC3 audio rip and tried rewinding/pausing a lot and I'm surprised that it didn't crash at all. I just hope he manages to fix the 7.1 issues and everything will be great.
