PS3HaX homebrew developer samson released a couple of homebrew app’s last week, as a Christmas present to his fellow PS3HaX members, here is a quote from his thread here on PS3HaX.
samson sorry this wasn’t front paged sooner, it was on my to do list, but i got side tracked, with Christmas and other drama.
open cubic/midier media player.. two programs linked up to make a very nice package..
Open Cubic Player:
a mod player is something I’ve been wanting to do for ages, it plays:
MOD
XM
S3M
AMS
MTM
DMF
ULT
669
NST
WOW
OKT
PTM
MDL
WAV
ITMIDIer:
8bit MID sounds really nice and @ startup auto builds and loads a playlist , artists covered: pendulum, skrillex, daft punk, portishead, moby, massive attack..in its current state it’s all usable and plays all known formats fine.. installs under music.. also i recommend a usb install… it does work with apps installed under music and makes it easy to add your own tunes..
Oh and the source, its from a site called P S 3 H A X . N E T
Download For 3.55
Download For 3.41

GregoryRasputin no worrys bud i myself have been taking it easy over the Xmas holidays and it makes no difference to me if others do post the tools and games i have ported from dos, it wont stop me trying to better the next port that i do.
ViperMM never heard of j2b before i'll do some research on it, i cant promise anything. i really want to do some looking into different dos extenders for all them laggy 3d games and beats of rage.
MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE (yes i am shouting) XD

does it output any txt at the dos prompt? and is anybody else having this problem? try a reinstall.
longhornx no video just tuneage.. ocp does have a few 'music visuals' known as Würfel mode animations (press L3 during playback to bring up o.s.k. click "W" then "ENTER" but they looked way too blocky on a big screen.

Also anyone find a point in this post
yep i'm bringing the pain on this gDrive if you dont like it dont use it, step off and STFU your crap sarcastic jokes dont wash with me one bit, the only single thing your interested in the scene is creating drama, a bit like some sad parasitic worm sucking/feeding from a host and slowly killing just for a quick ego fix. if you dont want to upload 69mb (its soo huge) i stated it was a test pkg (included music) just use the links i provided, problem solved..
seriously keep your so amusing 'jokes' to yourself and lighten up dude.. if i posted a comment like that about any homebrew on any system i would be ashamed of myself... and i'm sure there are plenty of members that agree with me that your general attitude stinks, besides if you did have any balls you would comment on this thread not over @ crunch.
lol good job i dont give a damn what you or anyone thinks

Is this built using PSL1GHT?

After install of the PKG, I started the OpenCP from XMB's Music and got only a DOS command prompt.
The error is that the mount c ~/ in the .dosbox/dosbox-0.74.conf is looking for the OCP program in /dev_hdd0/game/HBDB90000 instead of where it was installed by the PKG (/dev_hdd0/game/OCPM90000)
To fix the error, I did the following:
1-Install the OCP_MIDIer_v1_3_55.pkg
2-Go to multiMAN File Manager, go to /dev_hdd0/game/ and rename OCPM90000 to HBDB90000
3-Exit from multiMAN and install again OCP_MIDIer_v1_3_55.pkg
4-Optional: Go to multiMAN File Manager and delete the folder ocp from
/dev_hdd0/game/OCPM90000/USRDIR (that folder should already exist in HBDB90000/USRDIR)
BTW thanks for the gift

However, even though I said that, I DID download BOTH 3.41/3.55 versions of the application, so I DO have an intention of using it.
One more thing regarding my post on PS3Crunch - I tried uploading it to THEIR servers but it kept timing out up to the point that I got PO'd AND then GaryOPA said this (http://www.ps3crunch.net/forum/threa...3134#post23134)
Also samson, if that has offended you, then I do apologize for that.

@ gDrive like i said i dont care what anyone thinks i make my dirty dos ports for myself first and share them with others (if i think its cool) and you my think your comments are amusing but thousands read them so your not just insulting me but every homebrew dev out there thats trying .. so there's no crawling back.
but hay its Christmas so i let this one slide.
