I personally think we should be front paging important PS Vita hacking news, like SKFU's recent developments, one of the reasons being, that a few of our PS3 hacking user base will buy a Vita and they will be able to keep up with Vita hacking progress on this forum as oppose to going to a separate forum.
Perhaps, we could have the PS3 News as the default tab and have a PS Vita news tab for those that do wish to keep track of the progress in that scene.
Finally it would give me a wider range of news to post, as i think i may be in the Vita scene just as much as i was/am in the PS3 Scene i also host the Vita Dev Wiki

The downside about a second news tab is primarily vita users wont be able to just load up the site and get to what they want immediately. What about a sidebar with news titles for vita on the ps3 tab and vice-versa.

Well, first we need to define "important."
Will news that further progresses the development of CFW be classified as important? Or news that discusses a possible exploit in a video game? Or if someone gets an emulator running?
Before we can say only front page the important stuff, we need to agree on what's important and what isn't.

Yes - show PS Vita news on front page at ps3hax.net but label the backgrounds of PS3/PSVita posts with a different color (for example Green for Vita Blue for PS3)

Yes, im curious about the vita and would rather not go searching for hacks in other forums/sites since i use your rss/forum everyday. Many will disagree and want to keep it ps3 only but if there is a demand for it, you should retain or attract new customers and support vita's homebrew.

i think the front page with the option of showing both at once.
for those that choose not to see it merged with ps3 can still have it in an RSS feed. the same could be done for those who get a psvita and have no interest in the ps3.
keeping the forum together would make more sense imo

I'm still skeptical, newer generation machines won't be easily hackable, AFAIK 3DS wasn't hacked yet either (nor iPhone 4S, iOS 5.x untethered way, PS3 on 3.55+ (outside of Mathieulh's and KaKaRoTo's home) et cetera).
Maybe we have to wait 5 years for a real (at least homebrew enabler) PSVita hack. Until that day PSVita "hack" news are quite useless for most of us. Merging those news with these would be wise only if and when that will happen.
SKFU's tools will be useful, but only after that day. (And he's probably a licensed developer or has a leaked devkit.)

PS3 HAX ONLY... if it is important and has something to do with the ps3 then fine by all means front page news IT, there's enough front page junk already, no need to add more... aka... scene drama and interviews to fill space cause there is nothing better to put up as front page news... sorry for sounding a lil harsh but its true. If the Vita can do something that will progress a PS3 hombrew or PS3 hack... who knows what some brilliant dev can think up to do with these two powerful pieces of hardware!

yup would definately like to see PSVita news on here....for now at least.
Have no interest in buying one in the short term, so wouldn't go looking for news on it, but if happen to glance at news on some big breakthroughs or developments on it, then something may catch my eye and make me want to look into one further...and if it all kicks off bigtime with big news frequently (wishful thinking) they could be seperated later

I think it'd be great to hear any news in any scene. I used to love having Xbox360 news here too (although Pbanj's threads are just as good).
I reckon having a psvitahax.net dedicated front page with a shared forum (expanding the current PSvita section) is best (since I skip the front page anyway :D) but that way we don't miss anything and people coming here for Vita news will see other scene news. We could have tabs for each section and one listing everything (on the front page).
I really think Hax network should be aiming towards becoming the next dash-hacks, seeing as that's posting more generic news, rather than just scene news. Besides, people interesting in modding their PS3 or Vita, will likely want to mod other devices they own.

I think that at least in the beginning you could have it on the current home page but maybe once the scene picks up check it again because now it seems a bit pointless since Vita news may be very slow at first.

I dunno why I bothered to even vote on this poll... They put GIANT posts for anything vita related no matter what anyways.. might as well change the name of this site to VITAHAX.NET cause that what is becoming of it anyways. I came here for "PS3 HaX" NOT PSP hax, OR PS2/PS1 HaX... with all that why don't y'all start posting Xperia Arc and Xperia Play HaX while your at it, might as well since anything PS3 CFW/MFW related is usually a bunch of BULLSH@T or scene drama anyhow. Sounds good huh... better than nothing i guess cause thats all thats goin on around here.
