Im sure you all know of the popular text edit mistake, discovered by DeViL303, that resulted in XMB Filemanager, well he got together with a bunch of other text editors over at PS3Crunch.
Anyhow, these guys, which includes work from developer aldostool, have released XMB Manager Plus, here is a quote from the source:
XMB Manager Plus (XMBM+) is a new XMB category based off of REBUG’s “Package Manager”, which is a modded version of the official (debug/Jailbreak) “Install Package Files” XMB option.
This will replace the “Install Package Files” option or for REBUG CFW “Package Manager”.
XMB Manager Plus allows the entire PS3 filesystem to be browsed and/or deleted (all file types supported), We have added functions to REBUG’s
“Package Manager” and renamed it to “Package Manager Plus”, it consists of all previous features plus it now includes new Homebrew Category that has
options to download a selection of popular PS3 homebrew packages. We have also added a new “Game Data Manager” that contains all games data type
tools, like saves, backups, etc. There are plenty more options also available in this new update, see the changelog below.Main Features in XMBM+ v0.10

I will give this a whirl.
EDIT:
On second thought, I do not like these additions:
+ New Homebrew downloader integrated into Package Manager Plus
+ Links to some popular websites added to a new category
I know where I want to get my homebrew and I sure as hell do not want advertisements built in.

I would like to point out NFW was in no way created by bitsbubba with intentions on winning/entering the contest. I was the one who helped him enter... after he already released it on the forums. You got a problem with NFW thats bitsbubba, you got a problem with the contest... come see me

So I am trying to install this but keeps saying I have a newer version installed even though I am on v0.6, I uninstalled Rebug PKG manager and still no luck. Anyone else got this problem? Any chance of a manual install? I have removed all Rebug spoofers, PKG Manager and re installed my CFW and it keeps telling me version is to high, yes I read the readme and erased the game data and I even extracted it making it a lower version number but I can't find out out to make a PKG to save my file. Any help would be great as I LOVE this app.

Also don't come with the crap that he had no intention of winning, he could have refused to enter or refused the cash, by right that cash belongs to the creators of MFW creator, are you going to continue to derail the thread and cause problems ?

Installed and now the "install Pkg files" folder has dissapeared from the xmb (no additional folders showing)
looks like all this does is delete the folder that allows you to install pkg files
has this been tested ?
I gonna have to re-install Kmeaw now
Edit:
just read on crunch
Install Instructions
1 - Copy the XMB_Manager_Plus_v0.10_flash.pkg and XMB_Manager_Plus_v0.10.pkg files to the root of your USB media.
2 - Install XMB_Manager_Plus_v0.10.pkg file and XMB_Manager_Plus_v0.10_flash.pkg file.
3 - Run the XMB Manager Plus installer (you can delete it afterwards).
4 - Enjoy!
NOTE: Follow the correct order or your "Install Package Files" (or "Package Manager") option will disappear and you'll have reinstall dev_flash files or firmware.

Simonbuck: yes that's why we wrote that, and another thing that could have saved you from re-installing FW would be if your PS3 was QA flagged as it has an "Install Package Files' option that pops up in "Settings" when you initiate the button combo

Problem solved, I keep Rebug's installer on my HDD as I swap CFW's all the time for dongles. Anyhow this app and it saw it as the same thing. Either erase rebugs or maybe bitsbubba will send you the one I got that has a slightly higher version number that let both co-exist on the HDD for swapping of FW's and adding of your tweaks faster.

I didn't think the pkg manager could get better but man this is truly one of the best apps out there. When using the normal one on TB CFW it doesn't allow for the new colors just the normal set but color works with this one. Guess I can finally erase m rebug pkg manager send this is an all and 1 application now. No longer do I need to install package manager and then copy over new files. So thank you for training this awesome app and making it into package form.

Web links: These were sites that all the devs who worked on this suggested, no advertising, I personally wanted rebug.me and the release thread included, the other sites were the other guys suggestions. We included everyones suggestions from the developement thread on crunch as far as i know. I personally dont like facebook and I hardly ever go on youtubeXL, but i certainly wouldnt let those little links that are inside a subcategory, thats inside another subcategory on my XMB stop me using this.
Homebrew Downloader: This might not be for everyone, what is these days, but Some people out there might like this feature, We plan on expanding it into sub categories for different app types, hopefully it will include all popular apps that people suggest to us eventually, all it takes is time
Here in Ireland we dont consider prize money to be profit , therefore it is tax free. Also "Profit" is not even a word we would use to describe a prize of money eg. lottery win . sports competition prize etc.

Im really not surprised at how the PS3 scene has turned out, PS3 CFW owners, love being scammed, lied to, stolen from, deceived, mislead, ripped off.
Now if you don't want the truth, if you prefer lies, then don't visit PS3HaX, visit the likes of PS3Crunch, who's owner is a major profiteer of True Blue and not in an advertisement sense.

Prize money is from something that you created entirely yourself
Earning off someone else work, is using a pre pre-programmed peice of software to make a MFW and earn a profit from it, that is not prize money, that is theft, the money rightfully belongs to the creators of MFW builder,
though to be honest, i wouldn't expect you to understand the difference, go back to your text editing, you will find that more understandable, or will you O.o

Lol, when you put it like that , Ya its a handy "feature" for noobs alright!

The way i see it anyone can go deleting windows files too, if they do that kind of thing to their OS files then we cant really help that person or try to accomadate them with big warnings.
Hopefully worst case = FW reinstall, psn game activation lost maybe, = Lesson learned!
