• Oct0xor hacks the new ps3usercheat 2.2 + cheatlist.dat 6.0

    Well guys the free scene devs are at it again, and this time it was oct0xor to release Cracked ps3usercheat v2.2 + cheatlist.dat v6.0

    Here is what he had to say in his tweet:

      Tried selecting cheats for Castlevania: Harmony of Despair got a black screen after hitting start, had to pull out the plug to reset the system.

      Great work at cracking someone else's work! It's too bad I do not cheat in games, but I admit I am anticipating a nice Cobra.pkg or .bin (for boards if they are needed).

      just a warning, game number 244 completely locks the console when you press square or circle on it, not sure is this is a bug with the dongle or how he dumped the data.

      Well, he's made no promises that he will fully crack Cobra & TB, but one can only hope for the best. As for the E3 if the device allows playback of most games without the need to wait for specific games then I'd have no problem purchasing one. Then it would be the same as a NDS flashcard or SNES backup unit. I won't get one if I have to wait months for random games I could care less about. I want to choose and backup my own games!

      if you want to use the cheatlist, you have to start up codeunique 2times. first start it and select any cheats and press start. then you can mount it with multiman or any other backupmanager, and after that, start codeunique once again and select the wanted cheats and press start. this will not reset mountpoint

      I installed the pkg and it placed the folder on the xmb and after selecting it it says please wait and plays music, but its been several minutes now.............wonder if I should continue waiting or not.

      It finally worked...........sadly, I only have a few games that allow cheats.............and apparently the new cheat manager has no PSN games like the previous one? Not complaining............just curious If I overlooked some.

      Press X on the game you want to cheat. Then, go into cu2 and enable the cheats and start the game.

      i installed the .pkg. Press X on "Code Unique 2" in "Game Menu" it boots and i come back in XMB????

      im on TB version 4.11 true blue v2.7

      what do i need to do???

      From what I understand, cu is not compatible with tb firmware. It works great on rebug and kmeaw.

      Could someone, please, shed a light over the freezing issues? I'm trying do use ps3usercheat 2.2 on Harmony of Despair, but everytime I get to chapter 10 or 11, game freezes and I have to force shutdown my PS3.

      Found out that the freezing issue with Harmony of Despair on levels 10 and 11 only happens when the "Max HP & MP" cheat is on. Maybe this is some kind of value problem? Wonder if there is a way I can fix this value by myself.

      I lolled.

      Nothing you can do except wait until TB make it compatible with their cfw.
      But it seems they are too busy getting ready to release their new dongle :P

      Yes, an easy way is install on Rebug "PSN Spoof Enabler [4.20] [KMEAW].pkg" created by Nightbird.

      He will change the "vsh.self"

      Or go to "Rebug Selector" and press R1+cross to use (Retail XMB)

      why this dont work for me? i just need for gran turismo because i lose my saved data and now need to play from beginning
      when i select for max money then got black screen, and when select to reach level 40 in b-spec than nothing happen. i`m on rogero 3.1 and have game disc.

      Sorry, I wasn't talking about an online pass / reg key or something like that.
      You need to check the Disc ID to check if it's the supported type. Like BLUS & BLES

      no online pass, i only need money and exp for gran turismo because i`m on 35level on b-spec when i lose my saved data(corrupted) i say when i start cu manager then i have key icon under game list for GT,and the game id is like on cu manager.

      well, the thing is: the Disc/Game ID and the Cheat ID have to correspond. If they don't, the chance is high that the cheat does not work.
      I don't know exactly why, but it works that way.

      I heard that you can easily alter the game ID to match the cheats via param.sfo

      would be great if someone could verify that.

      Anyone figure out what was in bruteme.rar?


      to clarify this is a file in the pkg it is also installede to the game directory on your ps3 hddthat is password protected. I just started running a brute force attack on it but was wondering if anyone has already figured it out?

      Go to post #57 and download the eboot. First, you must update the game data to 1.02 and replace the eboot with the downloaded one. Do not replace the game eboot, only the game update eboot dev_hdd0>game>game id>usrdir>eboot.

      Cheats for infinite health and I believe infinite mana...
      L1+R1+Left D-pad enables the cheat
      L1+R1+Right D-pad disables the cheat
