    A member on the PSX Scene forum has released an application for turning on PSN and turning off PSN, here is a quote from the article:

    Here is a PSN enabler and disabler I’ve made which also spoofs to Firmware v4.20. This is only for Kmeaw users. I’ve made one for Rebug FW too but I haven’t tested it yet. I have used Rebug’s spoofer files and Nathanr’s tools, so thanks to them. Make sure you are unspoofed (3.55) before running the enabler. The disabler restores the original Kmeaw files and returns to v3.55. I have also used a reactpsn compatible vsh.self in the disabler so it doesn’t screw anybody up that uses reactpsn. For those that don’t use reactpsn, you won’t notice anyway.
    To enable PSN and spoof to v4.20, run the enabler, the screen will go black for about 15 secs, PS3 will then restart, your pad will have disconnected too so press the PS button. You can now check your firmware version in system info, it should say ‘version 4.20′ and you should now be able to connect to PSN. To disable and return to v3.55, just run the disabler, screen goes black again and PS3 restarts.
    I can’t see this lasting long, as it looks like Sony are currently only checking the firmware version above and beyond what Rebug have already done.

      BTW: when this enabler stops working, do we get banned from the PSN or will we just not be able anymore to sign into PSN?
      I know, you can't tell now, but I've never really followed that stuff about PSN enabler & Co... :D

      Kmeaw is old, any kmeaw user, go to Rogero v3.2. It runs on the same Kernal as kmeaw and rogero has everything kmeaw has + more

      But that's beside the point, never the less good job

      kmeaw is is a good CFW, i know that a lot of people dont like kmeaw because is old, but like stussy1 said what have in the others that kmeaw doesnt have?
      Theres no reason to keep changing CFW, risking a brick, if theres no big improvements. I will only change my CFW if they release a 3.55+

      I get more red screen from rebug than any cfw and thats why I stick to Kameaw.

      Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't have Rogero V3.2. also Privacy Patch enabled meaning no PSN ??

      start rebug spoofer reinstall L1+Circle this version and than delete it if you want.

      then install that .pkg.

      It isn't working for me at all... When my system restarts, it goes to the "You PS3 did not shut down properly screen" then when I get back to the menu, its like nothing happened :/

      This gives me error 80010017 when i try to Login to Playstation Home. I am not trying to Play a Game. Cant login to PlayStation home. Anyone know how to fix this?

      For those of you (like me) who haven't logged into PSN since its name changed to "Sony Entertainment Network" or "SEN":

      Try to log into PSN from the PC, then you maybe have to reset your password. Then it should work.

      Yes it does have the privacy tlc patches in tact ,so in other words do not use Rogero CFW , if you want PSN access. Rogero v3.2, maybe a good CFW ,but using it ATM will get you => No PSN at all. On top of that it already has a 420 spoof.

      I am using PSoN to log in to PSN, but it doesnt let me download anything from PSN. Will this allow me to download stuff from PSN?

      Anyone with the 8002A280 error?? Can't access psn... Kmeaw 3.55 + PSN Enabler and Spoof Firmware v4.20

      I tried wire connection and wireless...Same results...

      -v3.2 Updated the system version spoof to 4.20 to prevent accidental system updates (won't allow going online in any way)
      I don't think PSN Enabler And Disabler will work on it.

      If asked, Maybe Rogero will release another version of v3.2 that will allow PSN Enabler And Disabler.

      kmeaw 's history is one of the main reasons I'm still using it, I haven't read of anything else that interest me as long as I get to play my games.
      Rogero CFW v3.2 uses kmeaw as it's base FW, So you still have the reliability of kmeaw but with more features and fixes.

      I tried all of the above suggested to get rid of the 80010017 error:

      Changed password of the PSN account
      Disabled and unistalled rebug spoofer

      But: nothing. Still 80010017 when trying to Login to PlayStation Network

      Any other suggestions?

      Why Rogero? I’m on KMEAW, but consider to go to rebug 3.41 for the dev functionality.

      8002A280 solved. Just reinstalled original 3.55 without spoof,spoofed it with 4.20,unspoofed it, installed kmeaw 3.55 after, applied spoof and that's it...

      Still have error 80010017. I did a recreation of the ps3 database then installed 3.55 OFW and afterwards 3.55 CFW. No luck. I am happy about any help i can get...

      Have you disabled all spoofs before installing kmeaw again? have you change your psn/sen password? I acessed by computer and changed my password too...I had that error also and the password change fixed it

      I had the same issue and I went into recovery mode and selected the second option...........cant remember the specific name right now, but it was option 2 and then my system allowed me to log on afterwards.

      works for me but i can´t download anything in psplus member, its giving the error 80297xx i dont remeber the rest of the code now. and mess with all content installed before from psn...its blocking my old content with the message need activate your system. and my system is allready activated. if you plan using this tool dont forget make a security backup from your ps3 hdd. I'm in portugal so maybe the server is diferent from other in other countrys. stay cool
