• Infinity Dongle: Beta Packaging

    Well today checking on the net i founded this.

    According to the user who brought the news about this device = Infinity. Well now we have ONE pic of it, but no info about it. (yet).
    To quote:
    Well, we got this picture from our hacking stuff supplier this morning; but it just the beta packaging with transparent white. It was said that the user cheat function will be added finally. their official site will update the new information in the following days.

    Update:
    Well i search for the image for some trails and found this:

    1) Ready/Report/Power on the case (Report?!?!)
    2) Seems that image is edited (or it’s fake) since the brand of the chips cannot be seen (two of them wow!)
    3) Anyone with more knowledge than me about the Actel/Atmel/etc will notice which kind of Microcontrollers they are using.

    On board 4 MBytes SPI flash ,2 MBytes For True Blue Codes,2 MBytes For PS3Usercheat Codes
    And i think he is right, this was discussed when the news about this dongle came out.

    Team Matrix confirmed that the dongle it’s not from them. Someone it’s trying to stain their rep.

      Yes, beta...*i refrain to write what i think about this in the frontpage* but just look the image closer and using my diamond sight...well.

      I Think the Matrix Team or the team behind this dongle still using a secure FPGA maybe ACTEL ProASIC3 also and an ATMEL USB MCU to interface it to the real world.

      Was a Typo, i meant Actel = TB, Atmel = Clones.

      Well unless it works with 4.11 i still don't have that much of a use for it, guess i'll just need to hunt for a 3.55 console, in the end its practically the same cost over here as buying a flasher plus all the solderless parts i need as the E3 flasher only does NOR out of the box and i still see no mention of the NAND version i remember reading about

      In regards to the microchips not having their information on them it is a common practice to physically remove such information for identification purposes.

      Well updated this, Matrix team confirmed that they are not behind this dongle and will report if something come out from their side.
      So someone is playing nice tricks
