• multiMAN Cobra Manager
(mmCM) has been updated to version 04.04.04 and is jam packed with new features such as increased copying speeds (up to 2-3x faster) when transfering files from NTFS drives to your HDD and the ability to dump your PlayStation 3′s NOR/NAND flash using the manager’s Hex Viewer mode. It’s been over a month since the manager’s seen it’s last update which brought us some nice bug fixes and extended theme support. A full changelog detailing each of the manager’s updates has been made available below as well as a download link to the famed application.

    Changelog:

    - Improved speed (2 to 3 times faster) when copying folders from NTFS drives (async write + larger I/O buffer)

    - Fixed wrongly issued error message when copying 4+GB files to USB (when source file is being split)

    - Fixed access permissions/attributes of split file segments and LV1/LV2/FLASH-dumps when copying to USB

    - Added support for launching NPDRM executables (SELF files) with k_license=NULL (zeroes) / RetroArch emulators

    - Added support for dumping NOR/NAND flash to /dev_usb000 via HEX Viewer mode (SELECT->START->LV2->LV1->FLASH)

    - Added support for writing EID0 sector (TARGET_ID + 192 bytes only) from *.EID0.NORBIN and
*.EID0.NANDBIN files generated by mM and processed by c2d.exe to change Region/Target

    - ISO folders (BDISO, DVDISO, PS2ISO, PS3ISO, PSXISO, PSPISO) will be automatically created only when mM is used with supported configuration

    - Changed: “Game Updates” function will find updates up to 3.60 firmware (update must be patched for 3.55CFW before installing)

    - Changed: “Game Settings” menu will display PIC1.PNG thumbnail if game folder was accessed in mmOS mode (PS3GAME.BG1 present under PS3_GAME)

Has a FULL version been released? If not I'll just download the mmCM 4.04.03 FULL version then update to this one because I need to update my game covers.

With what I am reading on the changelog, can we perform a CEX->DEX with NAND/NOR with just multiMAN and the CEX2DEX APP? is it fesable to also go DEX->CEX (not really needed just theoretical only AFTER RE-HASING if upgraded DEX -> 3.60+ firmwares)?

Sorry for the obscure long question...

This should stop the pseudo bricks that happened going from DEX back to CEX

It's just to transfer the game to the internal HDD and vice-versa without the need to split the files, it won't run the games.

Well if it's not too far off topic, i suppose it's appropriate since we're on the subject of backups and patching and etc... Wheres team duplex and their promised patched/ releases?

Great Job once again by the awesome deank. Best manager to date in my opinion. Great update.

one problem, im still having issues getting MM to transfer Goldeneye to my external. I have backup my disc several times and it always cancels it due to a error writing file list 001. If I tell it to backup to internal, copies it like a champ. Is there something with MM and not liking to backup my game to my external? only happened with goldeneye.

otherwise Love this manager, been with it since launch of it and never even thought of switching. Again Great Job and keep up the amazing work.

mmCM ver 04.04.04 BASE (20120809) with another dongle ?
      such as TB1&TB2 ? JB-King ?

because i see in the folder mmCM, there was 4 files,
      COLOR.INI ?, OPTION.INI ?, USB.CFG ? and mmCM ver 04.04.04 BASE (20120810).pkg.

Could I install with only PKG files into my ps3 using ANOTHER dongle ?

also could I install 2 MM with 2 different version (version 2 and version 04) into PS3 ?

      Thanks D

Love it. Less folder = Less clutter.

Yep mmCM is the evolution of mM.

      Get it here: http://www.sendspace.com/file/gyu4al

Install this over the current installation and you will be fine. (set your 2.09.02 to "default theme" before you update)
