I don’t think anyone can argue that the GTA franchise is one of the most fun games series on any games console, from GTA 1, 2 and London on the PS1 to GTA 3, Vice City and San Andreas on the PS2, to GTA4 on the PS3, the game has been the centre piece in many a household and i have no doubt the same can be said for GTA5 or GTAV.
Whilst major points for GTA5, like the release date are not known, images and video have been released:

I love the GTA series but... GTA4 was somewhat of a disappointment.... I had so much fun playing but the driving controls really turned me off. Saints Row was a lot better in THAT regard but too comical.
Really hope GTA5 can be the best of both worlds!

I used to play Grand Theft Auto a lot on my PS2. Although I never beat the games or got very far into them I enjoyed the endless open world to reak havoc in. I purchased GTA4 around 3 years ago and it is still in it's shrink wrap. I'll probably play it down the road, but there are too many new RPGs on all of the current generation consoles coming out so it's hard to have any spare video gaming time for a good Police chase.

GTA has always been a kick ass series. When I got my Vita, the first games I bought on PSN were the 3 GTA titles for PSP (Liberty City Stories, Vice City Stories and Chinatown Wars). I replayed San Andreas a million times and GTA 4 at least half as many times. Been waiting on GTA 5 for a long time now.

Hopefully R* has optimized this game to run properly on the PlayStation 3. It's very common for the PlayStation 3 port of any game to be plagued with irreversible bugs...

Hope it ends well ported to PC.
