    Seems as though a 4.10 demo has surfaced and has a patch to make it playable on cfw. An TRUSTED anonymous source has confirmed this working. As always try at your own risk.

    the sendspace link will be deleted in a few hours, so get it while you can.

    <ps3patchr> in advance … the only issue you may have is that after installing the pkg’s you will be asked to update (if you are not spoofed)

    <ps3patchr> well rebuild after updating the PARAM.SFO

    Update: Better explanation of  @CaptainCPS-X about how this works:

    Here I bring you 2 simple update PKG to make the game demo patching a walk in the park. (thanks to @itskamel for the news and Anonymous for making this patch )

    There is no need to rebuild the PS3 database or anything, I just tested my PKGs before uploading.

    1 – Download and install the demo from:

    DEMO -> UP2026-NPUB30741_00-WD1010000000GAME.pkg [473 MB]

    2 – Download and install one of these PKGs depending on what version you prefer (no need to install both, you can just install the latest):

    UPDATE 1 -> FIX_340+_UP2026-NPUB30741_00-WD101000001PATCH-A0101-V0101-PE.pkg [20 MB]

    UPDATE 2 -> FIX_340+_UP2026-NPUB30741_00-WD101000002PATCH-A0102-V0100-PE.pkg [17 MB]

    NOTE

    For those who think this will make the “Demo” a “Full Game”, this is not it. The patch is to allow the Demo to be played in lower firmwares from 3.40+.

      Always the same with you, i would agree with you comment if you already tested and you reported that the patch don't work.
      But seriously, stop trying to start a flame where's none, we don't have a partial report atm.

      So instead of *****ing, go test it and report back or stay away for your own sake. It's starting to get annoying.

      I bought this game when psn was available through the Sen enabler. Never occurred to me that it wasn't playable since it's a 4.20 game haha, how's that for stupid.Hopefully PropJoe can make it the full version...

      Its not the fact its a demo, its the basic fact that a 4.0 eboot has been cracked. However that was done is an achievement and could lead to great things AKA not just demo's but full games. Think bigger

      Well that's what I realized too,but we'll have to see if fixed 4.0 eboots for full games are ever going to be released.

      Seeing the latest developments I can be positive about it (yes,this is the first time the scene makes me feel optimistic again)

      i think its easier for most people to just download the demo on a ofw ps3, unless you are stuck with 1 ps3 then this is the only way you can get it, but still i don't see the point in making a demo work on cfw.

      What des try at your Own Risk mean in this case that it may brick your console?

      Basically, my common sense tells me that it was written by [MENTION=186943]hellsing9[/MENTION] when he originally posted the "untested" files, meaning that if for some reason the provided files made some kind of damage to your console, he would not be held responsible for it.

      Probably he hasn't found some free time to edit the thread and remove the warning.

      Brilliant work and i am not just talking about the 4.xx demo working.

      All demos that are new are welcome in my books.

      1) Save yourself time wanting a game you want not released yet
      2) save lots of MBs if your internet has a limit
      3) keep you busy while you wait for your full game you purchased to come

      Even though SOME of you don't like it, alot of us appreciate it.

      Sadly, alot of game devs / publishers don't make demos anymore as it is the only way to assess without spending money if a game is worth it or not (besides hype etc).

      I made the original post and someone I know (a solid source) tested it, although I myself did not test, thats why it says use at your own risk.

      Also just trying to cover my ass, incase someone ****ed their console up I don't want them to think i'm responsible for it.

      Now, if you run into problems *I don't held responsable* about what you done with your PS3.
      Any file that i posted, i always add *USE AT YOUR OWN RISK* even if the file is 100% secure.

      I installed and played the demo yesterday using kmeaw, with no problems. Tried today with Rogero 3.5 and it runs fine , no problems at all.

      been poking about with this because i love the tv series , did some googling on the .ttarch files and found a tool that can read some of them so the demo maybe mod-able.

      Good game that I had that episode on the pc . Not sure of its worth modding though it's completly on rails
