Some months ago (with E3/TB) and many others trying to squeeze more *Green* of DRM devices caused a serious mayhem to the scene until DEX, keys and eboots got leaked/released. For some reason (they) stepped down or went back to their *DRMcaves* maybe to try to create ANOTHER one with more *fancy* promises.
Next DONGLE have features like:
- Waterproof.
- Bulletproof.
- More bling bling on the package to lure users to buy it.
- *Strap* for your cellphone. (As a *free gift*)
But getting *serious* if i can…Seems that
Maximusis on the road again and N0DRM showed their discontent about this *issue*. I can relate with them and everyone who hates the idea of another DRM device on the market.
So far so good. From that 3 *new dongles* that still are a rumour, none of them got released (yet) plus all of them were false leads.
Maybe something is being in production stages?…who knows.

I could give a hoot about Dongles, but when have people started to call Max "Maximus"? It's really not suiting at all. That nickname gives him way too much credit.
I also have do disagree with the entire "slave" bit as the people who work for Max or employees working for companies Max has setup are doing so on their own free will and the term is an insult to real slaves around the world.
I've never liked Max, but the reality of it is that he's a smart [pirate] in the bit when it comes to making money. He's in the money making part of the underground modification scene and not going anywhere anytime soon as he is very successful at what he does.

Being honest i don't blame Opa for being a sellout and being Max-imus ******. We can discuss anything about DRM procedures, devices but we know deep inside (of any dongle user) and the one who don't use it either that we are mere pawns on this.

My definition of a business will not change due to the Laws that describe a business (in the USA at least). If you call your local BBA, a tax attorney or the Government (IRS), City and/or State you will find that anything you do on a steady basis (I'm not sure exactly how many transactions defines "steady") that generates income is considered a business. Running a Lemon Aid stand is considered a business (I know, it's very odd).
Now, unless you make over a certain amount of money you will not need to file taxes, but if you do make over that amount you will need a license to do business an pay taxes. Of course one can ignore this, but if the Government finds out you can be dragged into Court.
I count 7 advertisements on the main page of www.ps3hax. One being an video ad with sound.
Of course, turning on Ad-Blocking Software and using NoScript type plug-ins one can reduce the ads to nothing using filters and such, but for the normal "user" they will see 7 ads. This is why I am amazed they don't generate enough income to host the site due to the amount of traffic PS3HAX gets a day.
I meant no disrespect to Pirate as what I said in my original post is that Max and Pirate have greatly different business models and other then the ads being annoying they aren't bias nor does Pirate push products on the main page.
To address [MENTION=7773]GregoryRasputin[/MENTION] reviews those are not advertisements. There is a big difference and if you call his reviews "ads" then you must do so for anyone who has ever reviewed or will review a product - aka you're dead wrong.

I doubt that was the real Guichi, he got old (like the rest of you will) and his passion/hobby died and was passed down to xainiax who eventually sold the site. Both of these men got old and moved on. Just like most of these kids will go to college and leave the scene. Lasting in the scene has long as they did isn't easy. I never liked <G>, but xainiax was okay on his "good days".

About money and scene, there are huge difference to make it from ads and from dongle. In the first case, you don t really mind about infos being release for free, when on the other case you will.
I don t like the idea of user making money on the scene (even in some case such install cfw for others can be seen as expertise) but in the case of dongle (Cobra, TB or the xploder thing) it ll make any infos (even to old things like ps1 iso) much more political (to don t say: lies, misleading,dramas etc..).
If everyone have theirs reasons to release or not, having drm dongle make the situation much worst than classic confusing internet users relations

i am a member of many ps3 sites...but i have to admit i feel more at home here at HAX..i find the people here more genuine and friendly....i spend most of my ps3 forum time here...if you dont believe me look at my post count on other sites...it is next to nothing compared to HAX...some people just don't know a good thing.

However, implying that something "should be" does in no way make it so. The only solution was to buy a Dongle if you wanted newer games. Their cracks weren't public until recently - now it's available and for free. You can look back and with all those "should/has-bins", but you're just pissing in the wind.
I know for a fact that all of the console scene sites and even mid-range geek sites that get popular stories from the "scene" sites have a lot more in common then they do not. Gravox said it best - that is if you can grasp what he's saying. There are some guiding principles to each site that one site may not follow and therefor leads to disputes between sites such as lust for money, lust for power or lust for fame. Some people like that sort of thing, some don't. That's why there is more then one site. "winning" or "better than" or "best" is a personal perspective and opinion. We all have our own; well, the ones of us who can make up our own minds and not play follow the Lemming.

-- The entire Dongle solution was not free during it's limited lifetime. Even if methods existed to play eboots without them as they were not made public therefor they were not free.
-- People implying that the TB eboots were "free" during the Dongle days were misguided due to the statement above as if they were free they would have had them. They didn't. Someone held them in their own hands and didn't share. That's not free in any way, shape or form.

Well they do buy all the Homebrew, so they be complete retards not to care about stuff they buy.
BTW you should notice i have front paged the last few N0DRM releases, i have been keeping them centralised in the one thread, ive told you before about my passion for the PS3 Scene and i don't care if i fall out with everyone, i will not stand idly by whilst ass holes profit of the scene by creating and promoting reDRM devices.
You can attack me, you can try and defame me, you can laugh at any f*cking photo you find of me, you can hack my accounts, you can dox me, you can insult me, you can make phone calls to my house, then chicken out like a cowardly b*tch when i speak, you can do what ever the hell you want, but im not going anywhere.

may be slightly off topic, but residing and operating my own business in Canada, if I make under $30,000(CDN) per year, I don't have to pay taxes (if I don't want to) because I don't make that much (this only applied to GST)
Of course our system is a bit different. In Ontario, we used to have PST = (P)ersonal (S)ales (T)ax and also GST = (G)oods (S)ales (T)ax. Now, they merged the taxes together and it's called HST = (H)armonized (S)ales (T)ax
I had (don't know about now though) the ability to not pay GST to the government because I didn't make over $30,000(CDN).
Anyway, I forgot what the whole point to this was...

It's quite obvious that some TB devs are lately attacking this forum and also GregoryRasputin . I think that they choose to attack at this specific time because new games are surfacing and are preparing a new drm dongle and they want people like GregoryRasputin eliminated . But GregoryRasputin don't worry you have all the scene to protect you (though he can defend himself very good
). It's known that crunch is the place where all the tb devs and sellouts meet .To TB devs : don't even think to create a drm dongle ! The antiTB is stronger than ever and united and also even your tb buyers have learned the leason ! PSX-Scene for banning many of its members and developers, for simply voicing their opinion over how the site was being run and for trying to help make it better.
PS3Crunch for profiting off True Blue, the owner gayOPRAH even rubbished the clones because they were bad for his pocket, whats worse is that PS3Crunch took impressionable young minds and turned them into the biggest bunch of retards on the internet, especially the retard members who were part of Team PS360
PS3N3ws has its flaws and we have never gotten on with them, but PS3N3ws is better than both those sites combined.
PS3HaX does have its flaws, id be a dick to deny that it did, but we remained strong and we stood against the corruptness and tyranny of both those sites, we stood against True Blue and both those sites welcomed True Blue with open arms.
