   the fw is spoofer to 4.25 so numnut ppl dont update
   
   the v3.6 mean the mod version of the 3.55 eg his last version was 3.5 his next one would be 3.7 if he add more stuff to the 3.55fw thats not it the 3.6 version
   
   eg u get homebrew apps v0.1 , 0.2 ,0.3 1.0 etc
   
   it dont mean its for 3.60fw ps3

   I think 3.6 means it'll play 3.6 backups without the need to fix eboots. But I'm not entirely sure. Can someone please confirm this?

   3.6 is the version #. You know the last version was 3.5, the version before that was 3.4, the version before that was 3.3, etc.........

    You have to use f@ck PSN or something like that to get on PSN. Rogero's built in spoofer is not for PSN access.

    This CFW does not allow PSN access by itself. You need F U C K PSN and change the cert files.

    I haven't touched my CFW 3.55 since KMEAW was released. Should I update? Also will this DELETE my data on my PS3? I have tons of data installed (pkgs, game updates, etc)

    Ok here's what I get...
    
    I've downloaded the latest Rogero FW. Tried to install it but after loading it to the HD and rebooting it's giving me a message that an update is not necessary. So I took a look at my installed packages and removed a SEN update tool that I've installed earlier. Afterwards it said I was on FW 3.55 again. I retried to install the latest Rogero and succeeded.
    
    So, I started the dev_blind package, rename the CA27.cer and uploaded the patched version using the latest OpenPS3FTP. Then I rebooted.
    I have f*ckpsn running, DNS is pointing to the PC running f*ckpsn (doublechecked it) but I'm always receiving error 80710A06.
    
    Yesterday I ran f*ckpsn on both a linux and a Windows pc, but the error remains the same. I've also resetted my SEN password yesterday and have adjusted it on the PS3 but the result stays the same.
    
    I've been googling for a way to fix this, but so far I didn't find a way to do it.
    I'm about to start crying now
    
    It currently states that I'm on FW version 4.25 so that is looking good.
    
    BTW: For everyone that wants to know, yes all your settings, packages, game data, whatever is kept on your system.

    How did you get the RSOD?
    It recently happened to me (yesterday) i was try to use all available exploits for PSN, in particular using a Pkg that was made recently.
    
    Rebug 3.55.2 with CEX/DEX selector did not like that Pkg.=RSOD
    
    I tried using FactoryServiceMode_Lv2diag_RSOD.self, could get it to boot, Useless.
    
    So i tried flashing it with OFW 3.55 and to my amazement that worked.
    
    What firmware are you on

    I'm surprised rebug hasn't already had an update to their spoof. Since they were the first to update to allow psn access last time the pass phrase was known.
    
    I bet they will have one soon. Hopefully before the pass phrase changes again.

    1- Updated the system version spoof to 4.25 to prevent accidental system updates --> at least from Game Discs ( internet/Sony communication is not blocked to allow future PSN access addition if possible, that's why you see the Update message when you try to Log-In to PSN ) so if anyone Insists to Update... go ahead, it's possible...
    
    2- Please note that this CFW is an update to v:3.4 , it doesn't have any 3.56/3.60 keys like the EXPERIMENTAL CFW v:3.5
    It is so stable and doesn't have any problem with Blu-Ray discs playback because the loaders are not patched like they are in v:3.5

    Read the change log... Does you current CFW do what this one does? If yes, move on. If not and you like the features maybe you should use that CFW.
    
    On another note, I'm amazed at how bad people fail when you mention the word CFW and 3.6 in the same title. I hope people realize that even CFW can have their own revision number. It does not need to be based off Sony's OFW number. If they can't even grasp this they really shouldn't be downloading it and using it as their IQ is too low to understand what it is they are downloading.

    Im not sure how it happened, it was a friends. I believe he was updating from 3.6 to something else and it red screened. It asks to reinstall a pup at 3.60 or higher. never been modded. Hoping for a cfw 3.6 with possibility of downgrading to run the available rsod tools to get this b***ch running.

    Either grab the fixes from the link that [MENTION=224021]DEFAULTDNB[/MENTION] posted or you can grab LeatherHeads repacked fixes via my sig.
    
    LeatherHeads fixes are basically "plug 'n' play" so you install the pkg and then start the game as normal.
    
    Or, grab the "100" fixes to fix the backup files.
