PS3HaX Homebrew Developer aldostools has updated some of his applications:

    BruteForce/SCETool Decrypter 2.2.0

A klicensee finder using scetool (based on Asure’s brute force script) with heuristic algorithms for brute force attack. Once it finds the klicensee, the tool resign the EBOOT/SPRX/SELF with 3.55/3.40 keys. It also includes my FixELF tool.

Changes: Added conversion to fself (DEX), fixed issue with files with space in the file name

    BdEmu Partitions Tool 1.0.5

It’s a tool to manage the size of the partitions of HDD formated for BDEMU, used by PS3 development consoles.
It allows to create up to 255 partitions (if your HDD has the capacity)

    PS3 Tools Collection 2.0.31

This is a collection of tools that I have developed for personal use…

It now includes +26 tools. See all the downloads at the bottom of the page.

    * Note: mmDM is no longer included with the installer of PS3 Tools Collection, due it’s large size. Download it separately.

    Download BruteForce/SCETool Decrypter 2.2.0
    Download BdEmu Partitions Tool 1.0.5

I developed it on windows 7 32bit... maybe you're running it without administrator privileges.

Try disabling the UAC. Also make sure you have installed the VB5 runtime module.

Hey All DOS Tools, is there an OS requirement for "BdEmuPartitionTool.exe"? Reason I am asking is because I still run WinXP on my box and it does not start up, but keeps crashing out. I have XP on Service pack 2 and all .NET framework packages.

I really hate to ask this in this thread, but I am not sure where else to post this at, my bad in advance if there is a proper place for these "dumb" questions.

      Try reinstalling the VB5 Runtime.

BTW my OLEAUT32.dll is version 6.1.7600.16385 (a bit older than yours)

ActiveX components usually are backward compatible, so your DLL is supposed to work, but who knows (Microsoft dll are always buggy).

I recompiled the tool... this time it uses a different compilation method and removed an unused dependency.

I hope this fixes the crash issue.... use the same links.

when you double click the tool uncheck the message that says run the program and all should work
you still need to be admin.

      Thanks for the clue....

However, from version 01.00.01 to 01.00.07 I haven't added any dependency that could be causing the crash. I'm still wondering what's wrong

      Anyway I did another version (01.00.07) compiled on a Windows 7 x64. I tested it on Win7 and XP 32bit and Win7 x64 and it didn't crash.

Here is the link for 01.00.07

OLEAUT32.dll was out of date for me, but it will not allow me to update it, so I switched to another PC and it works fine now. Also, updated .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 so thanks once more for the beautiful tools All DOS Tools man!

BTW the partitions tool had 2 major updates in a single date

      Currently 1.2:
      - Inject/Save BDEMU file
      - Rename slot
      - More sizes
      - Lot of other minor changes

      Wonderful tool, works great.
Still compatibility problems on my system with multiman, the latter being unable to see any slot beyond #3...
So needs to plug hdd to pc in order to change the default slot tag.
