I also had it posted already on both Progskeet pages in ps3devwiki.com (and I do not think I am easily mistaken for a fake :P)

Eitherway, the "being uf6667 or not" was rather confusing, hence why greg asked me about it and I pointed to the wiki with already that bitstream on it

Nor/nand clips are not the best solution, i get it, but on the E3 flasher they work, not that great but they work and there are lots of dump checker to be 100% sure when flashing.. so i dont know why so many problems about clips..

Thats for the devs to decide on, I'm just passing on the news, They obviously think its just not worth it as there are clips available that work fine for nand and the nor testpoint are easy to solder to.

I think 1.2 addressed that problem but i think it needs new software for Nand tab 2 to work, not sure really.

Yes they could make production cost real cheaper than me

But they need to fix NAND two read write for this kind of adaptor

fine, I'll add them for new sets for free
but come on 30 quid for a 2 layer pcb? you and I know that's bollocks mate
even in prototyping I get like what, 32 of those boards? for 200 quid I get 200+ of those boards

but yeah, I didn't think those were useful because of the desoldering and resoldering, which defeats the purpose of "in-circuit-programming"

what stumps me is that they're advertised as "solderless" but you need to desolder and resolder them at least 3x (6 soldering processes in total)

lying much mate?

I'm not the one that puts them into production, the chain of command is ****ed up, you don't want to know
but to clear things up a bit: I've been having a lot of stuff to do these last months (right after I released the bitstream to at least make 1.2 work), lost like half my memory and I'm only getting back on track now
on top of that, I have to study alot for exams

You see it will also use a clip
without the purchase of the injectus to reprogram it
the bull**** is that you made adaptor and made people swap bitstream when you could have made same as me for cheaper

And it's not £30 it's £20.99

Postage costs me £9 internationally and you can buy 10000 connectors I cannot thus my margin is greater and everything costs me 10 x more

Get the feeling you don't like people fixing your bull **** products

Come on where was the joke really

Edit : I am glad to hear you will sell the NAND adaptor

Ps can you please sell a nor adaptor aswell

When you do this I will stop I only made one for myself and everyone started to ask me for it

shame progskeet carnt answer questions in there own "support" threads.

also a shame progskeet kept on selling a product without its advertised features when they could have pulled the 1.2 from the shelves and re-produced the 1.1 untill this fix was done.

do you run squirt in the same way?

and if you looked in the progskeet "support" threads you would have seen Sarah1331 's adaptor boards have been mentioned. so it wouldnt have been much of a supprise to know ppl are using these.

Threads are deleted and People get Banned for Nothing,

But never the less good to have working Bitstream for 1.2. although i sent it to be mod to V1.1, have no regrets at all.

wow your having ago about how much a fully working board costs!

did you have the same feelings when the progskeet 1.2 was being sold?

that board is a very expensive for what it did do. and very dissapointing for only doing "some" NAND and "no" NOR chips.

it was even more bizzare that NAND was fixed first when NOR was the reason ppl bought this board

I can now happily resell them with a working bitstream.

Adapters are going to be supplied with new kits, If you already a 1.2 then uf said he might get them out to resellers and they will be dirt cheap.

might ... Lol might they work or is it a we might have to fix it in 6 month or might have to wait for some one man band to fix it for us or will it just say migh work might not or might it just not find its way to production or might there be another poor production line fault

The reason no one has left feedback might be because everyone have purchased a better flasher that works or they might have paid to get there console downgraded or they might have just got sick of waiting
Or they might think F U never again
I personally hope progskeet sell nothing again but then again they might bring a 1.3 out ea?

I cannot believe a team has took 6 month to fix a sold product

And winskeet don't work on NAND 2 even tho the history says it does

And skeet 1.1 don't work on it own adaptor board NAND b

Then again it might one day

Does uf just not like someone thinking of a good solution and taking a taste of the pie

Then again I guess he already thought of all these in the past
Ps where's the NAND qsb
The nor qsb only surfaced after Andy made and proved it working
uf6667
If you make same as my NAND adaptor please make nor as this is next from me
Oh And please make it for retail bitstream (NAND I mean)
And maybe put my name under a thanks for the idea

the bitstream is charged correctly in the ps1.2 via the injectus board,

I removed the r8 switch mod and with or without "ready or tristate" points connected, I have no result...or maybe in six month.. yes!!!

And what NOR Flash memory do you have?
I'm sure this stream will work for NOR, Try slowpoke and flash at 8bytes max if its Spansion, or refer to the wiki for the Datasheets for your flash.
Like uf said, He has a life to plus exams.
I should have the 1.2 uf is sending to me next week so i'll get to work on testing it on NOR models.

Sarah1331, Theres no need to keep saying NAND 2 Tab doesn't work, I heard you the 1st, 2nd and 3rd time.
uf6667 didn't even know it was bugged untill I told him 2 days ago, He said he would fix the software.
Why should he put his future on hold for a scene that sucks the life out of itself, I admit it could have been handled better but I'd choose my future over the PS3 scene anyday..

No apologies followed with excuses. You don't think we have a life too? Of course we do, how else we gonna pay for your product that didn't deliver on any level advertised.

It did not take 6 month to fix if he had exams ect why not rsalease source code for somebody elce to fix why not say it won't do jack for nor flash

Am guessing your uf6667

I personally didn't buy a 1.2 so it only angers me that you ****ed over so many customers not a sorry or anything regardless of what has took so long it shouldn't have been sold and 1.21 realeased and still it didn't work and when 1.2 was found not to work it was removed from progskeet.com but your saying we shouldn't hold a grudge come on lad wake up

Well, 1.2 worked fine on NAND flash so it did work, you could read NOR it was just the writing, When 1.2 got to resellers uf6667 was under the impression it would work as intended from the start, lets not forget uf has developer progskeet boards with the right components on it so it worked fine for him, Manufacturers made alot of fkups which then led to the stream needing to be halved in size for it to work as it should with NOR flash.

For Me I was on e of the lucky people to buy one of the last peaces of ProgSkeet V1.1. and i am a proud owner of this peace of Hardware it is my first choice of downgrade because it never fails me.
When The ProgSkeet V1.2 i bought it immediately without thinking, and since then put it on the Shelf after reading the reviews about it.
off coarse UF did not do it on purpose, but he should tested it before release and people bought it for the reputation of V1.1. i did.
and here again ProgSkeet did wrong, they did not make anything official regarding the issue and they could back to V1.1 till a fix is done but they kept advertising V1.2.
the Reputation of ProgSkeet is as much Low as it goes now, and the team should do something to get back into track.
after the failure of ProgSkeet V1.2 i went and bought a Teensy, so people are now moving away from ProgSkeet. although some talented people here tried to fix it and convert it to V1.1 and made additions (QSBs, Adaptors) they deserve respect.
Bottom Line: we would like to see ProgSkeet to shine again but it would take a lot of effort to do it again

He did say he was sorry in the irc, I did tell him to make a post on here explaining but i guess he's a busy man, its a rare sight when you see uf6667 / uf6668 on the irc :P
Progskeet is a small team and providing customer relations to the 1000s isn't really doable if hes always busy, #progskeet-support channel has some of the devs in and we do give alot of support there.

Well bmx said he already has the adapter for the skeet with nor on and dual nand its just they didn't realize people would actually use since it involves desoldering and soldering the tsop and not many people have the confidence to do that with there consoles, Now they know people want this kind of thing and they have said they will include it in future kits.
He also said he would think about getting adapters out to resellers on there own for those who have already purchased 1.2 but they will only be a few dollars but he isn't to sure on this yet.

Yes I have made my own like this but if they have this how did they not know NAND 2 didn't work ?
Did they just never test it?

I hope it's not £11 like the y adaptor

Not sure really.. I think they knew NAND 2 didn't work in previous winskeets but maybe they thought they got it fixed in the latest version as you can read with it, maybe they didn't try writing, I doubt it will be £11 though.
Even if it is around that price it will be more useful than the y adapter
But since they said they would include it in the kit for free then it cant be that expensive, the kit price would stay the same i think.

Edit: Btw i dont think uf6667 is slating you for making this, Its just the price tag you put on it :P
But if you say you cant get them made cheap then i wont argue with that lol, Its a solution for the time being

you can say to UF I paid 66€ to receive a full kit ps1.2 + 12€ for pin header and homemade mobo to seat the device, I read all documents available, i do many thing to get this working onto an NOR SPANSION "N"...

at this time I much progress in english writing!!! more than your device can write into a "Nor chip" ,maybe i buy this crap to learn english...

I'm not alone in this case, i'm not the best user of this device but other users are better than me on the flash tricks/skills...and they have no more results.

why you came here with this non tested bitstream...??? do you have some ps3 in the team???

You have spansion... this requires a much slower write process...
Buffered write 8 bytes Slowpoke most commonly used for Spansion Spansion S29GL128P90TFIR2 and Spansion S29GL128N90TFIR2

uf6667 has 'DEVELOPER' boards, ofcourse the 2121 bitstream will work on them because it has the right components, if you can't understand that then you shouldn't even be flashing hardware lol
There is a difference between the 1.2 'Dev' board and the 'Retail' 1.2 Boards :/
You have spansion... this requires a much slower write process...
Buffered write 8 bytes Slowpoke most commonly used for Spansion Spansion S29GL128P90TFIR2 and Spansion S29GL128N90TFIR2
http://ps3devwiki.com/wiki/Talk:Hard...st_safe_method

I can't test the stream untill i receive a 1.2 from uf6667, Im just posting the release :/
Its not our fault you cant read the wiki and use slowpoke method...

Ok! when I am more calm maybe I test that...I used all my patience in the last 5 month...

they knew there was a problem.

still cannot use this for the functions that we paid for:-

any other company would have removed the faulty item from stock then re-called all the faulty boards back in from customers.

the 1.1 should have been re-stocked as it was the last working product.

but no they carried on sending them to more and more re-sellers.

they knew there were false advertising the progskeet but ignored the legality of this.

1. it was advertised to read / write to NAND = false it only does "some" NAND

2. it was advertised to do dual NAND = false it will not do 2 at a time.

3 it was advertised read / write NOR = false it will only read NOR

4 it was advertised to dual boot = false the board that 2 NANDS or a NOR will be soldered to has been said in THIS thread that it was not going to be made.

it will be the same board that Sarah1331 makes and uf6667 has said he didnt think there was a need for it. well how the hell do you do the advertised dual boot with out it??

so still miss leading its customers and false advertiseng the progskeet

how long are they planning to abuse the legal system like this??

and finaly when the NAND and NOR boards are made then everyone who has bought a 1.2 progskeet should recive one free off charge as we bought the 1.2 with the dual boot feature.

these boards SHOULD have been with it in the first place. and now we have found out that parts were missing in our purchases.

thats another illegal act!!!!!!!

At this comment 'well how the hell do you do the advertised dual boot with out it??'

1.2 Supports dual nand, 1.1 was bugged on 1 side and couldn't support it thats why 1.2 was made, Its Winskeet that cant do dual nand because Nand 2 can't write back' So having this adapter board makes no difference because the Y adapter comes with the kit its just winskeet that needs fixing, you should know this since you claim to know so much.

1st i do not "claim" anything.

2nd thats my question. how are we supposed to do dual boot with out it??

3rd it may be winskeet but wait thats the software that runs the progskeet... and that doesnt work. so faulty product (yes software is product when it is part of the whole)

4th try reading my replies
the adaptor i am talking about is not the "Y" adaptor its the board that you solder 2 NANDS to or 1 NOR to so you get dual boot.

the boards uf6667 has said in this thread he didnt think there was a need for them.

erm you cannot dual boot without them

I'll be using the retail bitstream though, not the developer stream which is what he uses.
I've paid for 2 1.0s a 1.1 and I have a 1.21 on order

You said I havn't paid for much when I have, I've spent over £100 on Progskeets.
Its 'them' who paid for my freebie? These dev boards were made and paid for with uf's own money before Retail 1.2s went into production lol :/

First i was on w7x64, it won't work, then i formatted my second drive and installed xp home 32bit on it, after more then 2 hours frustrations the progskeet recognized the driver.
Today after 3 hours totally nothing, the driver installation is gone and won't take it anymore, restart my pc etc. checked the connectors, another usb port, 3.3v on/off(atx power). Only the injectus works.
I am done with it.

Finished wiring the nor 'Samsung K8Q', and I can tell u this bitstream isn't working.Dumping CFI is invalid and the progskeet is not able to give a good dump.Whereas with the older bitstream u can get a good dump but cannot flash as usual.

If u check Dayton360mods downloads section there is another bitstream up.

Sure they never test the bit steams before releasing.

i didnt say you are uf6667

i said what you said sums up the attitude here

how does that translate to you being uf6667?

you are comming in and replying as a "spokes person" by using this user name.

you got the "spokes person" title the moment you reliesed this and created this thread using this user name.

really you should have posted the news then logged in with a different name.

instead you hung around and engaged in this thread with an attitude that appears as if your trying to build up a flame thread.

I never said you thought i was uf, i simply said 'If you havn't noticed im not uf6667' just to clear things up and have no part in progskeets team.

there are situations like leaking stuff or using a joint account to reliese a teams info / tools.

and sticking around is 1 thing and enjoying getting peoples backs up is another.

and why mention uf6667 then? i didnt so i see no need to have mentioned him.

personaly i think the guy is great

he stuck around trying to get this working when the rest of the team had there falling out and left

uf667 even carried on over xmas / new year then finaly the rest of the team got back together.

so uf6667 has alot of respect from me for that.

but it is the team as a whole that have created this mess

they knew about it and decided to argue amongst them selves and ditch the end user

now there back and we should all bow down and give thanks for "sort of" fixing this

oh and for planning on selling addon cards that will let the 1.2 dual boot even though the 1.2 is advertised as doing so and with that then we really should be getting them sent out to us as they were missing from the "kit"

I appreciate the devices progskeet has provided, Thats why i'm getting a free dev board, Show your appreciation and he might just do the same but you dont seem to appreciate any Progskeet since you just sh'it on the company.
Maybe the team just hasn't had the time to sort out all the issues, he did say there was problems amongst them and he had alot of exams etc, I don't even know whos top of the chain within the team and who decides what.

I'm his bit'ch for releasing a bitstream? So does that make everyone who posts releases the Authors bit'ch?
Why say I'm a scammer in the post when you know i'm an end user and then say 'sorry not you your the end user...' Like you couldn't just simply delete the scammer part lol, thats just a shallow move :/

I haven't had an issue installing drivers on any 7 x64. Oddly enough I was getting nand read errors (Freezing) on xp x32

So far one member saying new bitstream is a no go. Do I really want to wire this **** up again for it not to work? Thankfully one of my customers gave me a Prog 1.0 and have a teeny for backup. If I get some time today I will try this nor I have here at the shop.

Well you haven't done anything to deserve that and yes that would make me a bad moderator, but:

The people that invested in Progskeet, didn't deserve the problems with the device and the lack of support and help, or the abuse they received when asking for help.

So if banning you would make me a bad moderator, what does it make the people involved in Progskeet for their absence in help and not acknowledging their device was faulty or apologising.

End users who invested money in buying a device that didn't work as it should, are entitled to be p*ssed of, they are entitled to voice their distaste and annoyance.

Also all these excuses about college and such are lame excuses, when you deal with people and profit from them, you should then work to see your product works successfully.

I would call banning people from the forum asking for help, abuse.

I would call not sorting the problem out sooner, abuse.

I would call selling people faulty device, abuse.

i have seen the FF FF FF before. i think its to do with the injectus not the bitstream.
or atleast how the injectus is reading the bitstream data

as far as i can tell it still transfers the bitstream over to the Actel chip just fine.
but without the infectus group being active then i dont think there will be an answer to what the FF FF FF etc actually means (that is assuming ProgSkeet > squirt isnt infectus aswell )

so just to clarify

your on win7 32bit (home / starter / pro ??)

using both bitstreams works?

using both winsub & libsub works?

you can dump CFI on all the above?

you can dump NOR on all the above?

He doesn't have me watching this thread, he asked me to post the release of the 1st 1.2 fix and I said I'd tell him about any problems with the stream.
a social life ... whats that?

i spend all my time in p/m's and threads trying to help people with problems with the progskeet

hell i have even been made mod on daytona now due to the support i give and the prog dev's not covering there "support" site.

and my poor ps3 is just covered in dust due to it not being turned on for atleast 6 months.

but yea dont worry i have it covered. you go play some more cake mania

actually there are 4 public releases

just 3 have active links

ProgSkeet_12_130402_1730.dat

+ Added metastability to the DQ ports to filter out noise and glitches

ProgSkeet_12_130401_2010.dat

+ Reduced timeout from 1.3ms down to 320ns per word

ProgSkeet_12_130401_1824.dat

+ Added timeout for reads/writes (1ms), no more blocking

+ Fixed bug where it would read gpio from data pins rather than from gpio pins

ProgSkeet_12_130330_1909.dat

+ Increased metastability of USB (should no longer disconnect)

+ Restored Samsung Q compatibility that was caused by dualboot pin allocation

i remember just how hard it was getting help when i first came over to ps3 from wii (and psp / ps2 before that)

i am proud that the users in this comunity can get friendly / helpfull and easy to understand help when they need it.

What i find funny is, people buy progskeets with no idea how to use them...
It is not down to ProgSkeet devs to sit there and spoonfeed users who have bought it, Your paying for a device, not support aswell.. It doesn't say anywhere you will be supported and spoonfed untill you have your console downgraded :/
If you have no idea how to use Progskeet then don't buy it, Its as simple as that.

You misunderstood my post, what i mean is Progskeet is a small team and people seem to demand support. Such a small team can't provide that support to the thousands thats why Its annoying to see people complain about the 'no support from them'.
I'm not having a go, i help people out to it just amazes me that people are getting wound up because there not receiving support when the answers to there questipns are already available. (I'm not talking about the actual bitstream releases and support with that)

If they don't have the ability to support their customers, then they should close up shop and refund all the people that have been basically ripped off.

What is really annoying is seeing you suck the Progskeet teams dick and lick their ass's at the same time, its sickening, nauseating and vile, its one thing defending someone when they have been wronged, but you are defending the ones in the wrong.

Defending someone because they feed you free stuff and turning a blind eye to their wrong doings is wrong and lame.

Don't get me wrong, i respect the Progskeet team, their original device was flawless, but they f*cked up with their newest product and haven't really had the balls to say sorry.

Also they are a company, they MUST provide support, if they didn't want to help people, then they shouldn't have gotten into the business

When you buy a progskeet, where does it say you receive support with every little thing, ProgSkeet devs are not obliged to give support just because there is a support forum for it, maybe thats for other users to give support and whenever the devs are able to give their input then they will...
And info on how to install bitstreams and everything else is on the wiki, you should check it out, maybe not for 1.2 but for 1.0/1.1 there is and its the same process ;s

you are silly, stupid, and if you are a lawyer you will lose all your cases with your ****tttttty way of defending.
or you can show us your magical way of working with V1.2 to get the work done.

i want to know right now if that is there official view on this.

can you get on the irc and ask for a member of the progskeet team to come in and verify that the statement you have just posted is progskeets view on this.

-------------------------------------------------------------------
and what is the point of looking at the wiki when you have just said it yourself that its for 1.1 nor 1.2
if what was posted on the wiki had info on getting the 1.2 to work then this thread wouldnt be here.
but this thread is here due to the fact that the 1.2 does not work.

the dev boards all work just fine with this but that is due to the size of the actel chip being bigger on the dev boards.

and there not testing on retail boards there testing on dev boards.

this is why uf6667 has you giving feedback from this thread so he can make changes to the bitstream

agreed a bit there..we can't expect help all the time, but what's easy for one isn't for another, lucky we got lots of help here cuse going by the off support forum, although good info to be found and like with the E3 it just needs alot of absorbing info...ok..i'm a little slow..no problem..stop being an ignorant f*ck pls tho....i already know the simple questions are not answerd because its to simple..right? again maybe simple for u...a little helping the noobs wont hurt huh..the simple ones....talking about simple/sad people..the l33ts...to bad it doesn't hurt much

and while ur at it...instead of releasing beta bitstreams for people to test as it seems the first fixed didn't fix the write..atleast not for the ones that tested it, put it all together and this 1.2 is one piece of crap right....why was 1.1 pulled anyway?

and liking the guy cuse ur licking balls and get stuff for free....1+2=3
also grow up please and hopefully u can release a working bitstream for NAND/NOR, as it would be nice for the simple people right..atleast we can't blame the bitstream then...

and i can't redo my edit, it gets ignored by them anyway....the shorts are simply a bug somewhere...they know..but just release sh*t so other test piggy's can test and report....sipmle people

can you get on the irc and ask for a member of the progskeet team to come in and verify that the statement you have just posted is progskeets view on this.

Actually, no uf6667 is testing it on retail devices

[16:00] <+_Skeet> so have you tested the stream on retails skeets
[16:00] <+_Skeet> not your dev skeet
[16:00] <uf6667> yes

Hes been on irc most of the day helping people so he does help just not on the forums, when i told him people should receive gauranteed support with the purchase he lold, so i think that answers your question.
I don't think he will come here but feel free to come on the irc lol

And when i say 1.2 is the same process as 1.1 i mean its the same in winskeet to dump/write etc and there is enough info on installing bitstreams also available on the wiki which is what alot of people are having problems with atm which is also the same process as installing a bitstream on 1.0/1.1, Its just people cant seem to be able to with 1.2

Heres some more of what uf said about the latest stream, he says it works on his retail 1.2

[16:00] <uf6667> I wanna make a one click app
[16:00] <uf6667> I mean so far
[16:00] <uf6667> it's retard proof since yesterday
[16:00] <uf6667> seriously
[16:00] <uf6667> if you get bad blocks with yesterday's bitstream
[16:00] <uf6667> then you have a loose clip
[16:00] <uf6667> no question about it

I told him people are still having problems with it so he will probably get another update out soon.

He's been rolling out several updates lately and is currently fixing the NAND2 tab in winskeet, The team had problems amongst themselves that they needed to sort out and it looks like uf is the only one stepping up to fix it and i think that is why it took a while to get these updates out.

I'm not sucking nobodys dik, I've supported and defended progskeet alot longer than i've actually known or spoke to any of the devs, I've just never posted on this forum before.
And if you saw sonywebs post you can see he got the bitstream installed on his 1.2, which people were having problems with before... things are slowly progressing, Isn't that a good thing atleast?

No, shyt should have been sorted out before 1.2 was sold to the market. Only reason I bought a progskeet was to avoid the e3, which I now have because 1.2 couldn't do a NOR. Had I known it couldn't do a NOR before hand I would have never wasted the money on it. I have no reason to use my 1.2 now. It sits and collects dust.

It was bad business and I'll never buy anything progskeet related again.

Ask for an eta on the NAND 2 please or a guesstimate ?? Day week month 6

No joke I'd love to know I use my own proto and would love to write NAND two

Tell him it doesn't matter if they (NAND one and two) read write together just on there own is good enough

I'll ask him when hes back, he is afk at the moment but my guess would be maybe a week, or less even.
He also said he don't care about your adapter buisness, you carry on as you were xD
And also tell underwurlde he could have just asked uf for the 1.1 schematics etc instead of doing it all himself, would have saved him some time :P

I'm still not able to test it, I've actually ordered my own 1.2 today since i was being moaned at yesterday for getting a free dev board lol
uf has said it should be working on retails, he tested on that.

Evening all.

And hello to Progskeet_Release: After reading through this thread you seem to have put up with a lot of perhaps incorrect assumptions and resultant flack about who you are and regardless have stuck around. Brave man. Respect for that.

I am a trusting fellow, so I will assume that what you say is the truth, deal?

Some things you posted made me sit bolt upright and really take note...

Post#60:

Reiterated in Post#65 when you went on to say:

And once they hit resellers then it was most likely out of his hands i guess
INTERESTING!!!

I wonder what dev boards this chap uses. Is it really a simple matter of using 'the right components' to make the 2121 BitStream work on a v1.2????

My obvious question therefore to this is: what are the wrong components and what should they be?

Thank you,

Andy

PS
It is good to see that the problems with the v1.2 are now hopefully being addressed at last to the relief of many. Yes, I was one of those who got a v1.2 only to find it did not work. But after realizing that the v1.1 did work and that the FPGA on the the v1.2 was the same I went about recreating the v1.1 PCB and hence the Phoenix I & II was born out of necessity.

Ha! Never mind, only took me 20mins to reverse engineer each ProgSkeet version as they are only break-out boards for the pins of the FPGA with some obvious glue components around it.

Recreating the PCBs took a bit longer (due to drawing of the component footprints) but can bash a PCB out like that in under 4 hours as Sarah1331 will confirm.

But all bitstreams realeased were for the smaller 125 they never realeased a 250 bit stream

So somebody knew quite eairly makes me wonder if this was just an excuse

The basic difference between the '125 and the '250 FPGA (everything else of interest being equal I assume) is that the '250 has twice as many 'System Gates' and D-FlipFlop 'VersaTiles'.

So, IF a '250 should've been fitted instead of the '125 then the dev's will have only half the resources to make any BitStream work and as a result a potential massive headache if the original BitStream developed requires more gates / tiles than the '125 supports.

Gunna wait for confirmation on what component(s) is/are incorrect before I make further assumptions, but I guess they unfortunately did not do a pre-production run of the v1.2 before releasing it to full production.

lety me say something.. the guy has balls to come here and defend progskeet.

i respect that too, but wait how come the progskeet had a ap125 while the dev board had 250 FPGA ?? and the bitstream was same in size as the 125 i assume ?

and howcome the progskeet team kept selling the 1.2 while there was no working bitstream ?

i deffo think there is a need for a nand clip for the COK-002 rather butchering the clip to make it fit

I wonder why they don't just release the code. Be shot of it. Let someone else have a crack at getting it right at last. If I was in their shoes (and I'm glad I'm not), I would. But I bear in mind that it might actually be an impossible task if indeed a '250 FPGA really does need to be fitted instead of the '125.

What a waste of our time and money.
If Uf or Progskeet Team needs help they should'nt feel shy and contact people who are ever on the ready,in fixing their 1.2/1.21 bitstream issue. We all want them to be on track.
So Progskeet Team,Uf grow up and fix this issue as soon as possible.

just a tiny bit

actually i'm going through everything to see if i can get this prog 1.2 working with ALL currently available programs and bitstreams.

i did have them but i have just re-installed my lappy to rule out secondary programs interfering with winskeet etc and deleted them all.

so its still about getting the prog 1.2 working

Just a little update on NAND 2 TAB and new bitstream release on its way

[11:34] <Skeet> Hi uf6667
[11:34] <Skeet> Any news on nand 2 tab fix :D
[11:35] <uf6667> yes but still testing
[11:35] <uf6667> currently trying to figure out if teh soldering is ****ed
[11:35] <uf6667> or the software
[11:35] <uf6667> or the bitstream
[11:35] <uf6667> (samsung Q)
[11:36] <Skeet> Ok :P
[11:37] <Skeet> Are you able to dump\write with 1.2 then, nand and nor
[11:37] <Skeet> Noones been able to so far with latest releases
[11:37] <Skeet>
[11:41] <uf6667> really? I've heard a great deal of reports that went good with the one rlsd on 02/04
[11:42] <uf6667> but winskeet does make a difference
[11:42] <Skeet> Hmm
[11:42] <Skeet> It could be nthe version there using
[11:43] <Skeet> Or the people testing it out are new to all this
[11:43] <uf6667> yeah
[11:43] <uf6667> I just made a new bitstream
[11:43] <Skeet> Sweet
[11:43] <uf6667> about to test it with samsung q... yet again
[11:43] <uf6667> if it doesn't work
[11:43] <Skeet>
[11:44] <uf6667> then I'll try replacing the voltage regulator
[11:44] <uf6667> cause I have neither logic analyzer nor spectrum analyzer nor oscope :/

Try the latest b\streams with different winskeets for now, uf has had alot of success reports with the 02\04 release

Sarah1331
I googled a while back and a wholesaler came up that was selling 125fpga's, I Tried googling just but doesn't seem to come up anymore and i don't think uf will give you his supplier xD

na i have been in p/m with him for a while now.
i thought he was first talking about a 1.1 so i helped him to get it working.
but when i realised he was on about 1.2 it was a shock

its a shame this 1.2 is so hit and miss hardware wise

1. bad caps

2. if not detected by injectus then there is a short below the U3 volt reg (i have checked that btw)

for some reason i cannot upload to the site
i have even deleted the other bitstreams from the "other" section and it still wont let me upload any files

i wonder if GregoryRasputin can see why i cannot upload tomorrow when he's about and i will put up these 5 bitstreams and all the winskeet programs that i have.

or if he can make a progskeet download section then i have 1.1 bitstreams as well that i can upload

failing all that i will just stick them in my git and post the links in here

It is a bug in Winskeet it self not in progskeet Sarah1331.
WinSkeet have a bug in handling two threads that dump 2 NANDs at the same time and Ago who maintain WinSkeet had left it for a long time, but now someone else will do it.

isn't this missing one for the 1.0/1.1 skeet? hence the progskeet_10_11xxxx.dat

that one was the one uf6667 released allong with the 1.1 to 1.2 conversion diagram.
with this change log :-
ProgSkeet 1.2 "Lite"
--------------------

You can now convert your old 1.0 (Limited White Edition) and 1.1 (Crystal Blue Edition) to 1.2 "Lite".
"Lite" basically means that once the new architecture is implemented, it will lack the ability to run autonomously, because it lacks the serial flash.
This can of course be added, but it won't be supported. Generating bitstreams for individual boards costs a lot of time which may very well be used in better areas (software and so on).

1.2 "Lite" enables you to use dualboot. This is achieved by soldering a switch and an optional LED.
The other feature is that you no longer need to switch between solderless bitstreams for NAND/NOR clips (these are not officially supported. If you have problems with these, please contact the 360 Clip team).
There is nothing more to it. You do not get extra features.

Setup
-----
so i will have to check it again as it is possible that it is for the 1.1 after it is converted

this also would explain why when i update the 1.2 with this bitstream that i get a different fault:-

no green light on the slave board (switch in either position) and not detected at all on pc

the other bitstreams:-

green light works on slave board (switch towards 15 pin zif socket) and not detected at all on pc.

i have another laptop comming tonight / tomorrow so i will see if its my laptop or not. i hope it is my laptop.

ah ok for 1.0/1.1 progskeets to "1.2 Lite" so they can dual boot
this bitstream however IF programmed and not used for dual boot needs a resistor as it seems..

http://www.progskeet.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=4139

then this one was an update for the 1.0/1.1 converts and also 1.2's ?

Guys u wouldn't believe this,but I have to make it known;
After trying the released bitstreams so far my PS v1.2 no longer dumps correctly. There will be lots of verification errors when dumping even when you revert back to the 2121 bitstream. So be warned.Don't ever write or flash any PS3 with these bitstreams. It is the duty of Progskeet Team to try their bitstreams before it is released. Two PS v1.2's are behaving like this so I can't be wrong.
Been told not to flood this thread, but I have to make this observation known to everyone. Thanks

you need to be sure about what is faulty.
when you flash a bitstream injectus wipes the previous one first so there is no left over code.
so if 1 bitstream acted in 1 way the first time it was installed then it should act in the same way the next time it is installed.

so you need to re-check everything eg

re-wire (if nor)

check the clip (if nand) remember if its a nor clip then the clip needs a pin removing

different usb cable

if you have one then a different 15 pin ffc cable

just need to be sure where the fault is.

it is highly possible that the prog 1.2 is the problem.
but dont just assume that others have the same / simuliar fault that they have checked propperly. you need to check everything

alot of ppl have the same faults using the 1.1 but from expirience of using the 1.1 we can fault find better

nobody has real expirience with the 1.2 yet.

btw do you recall what bitstream you had installed when this fault started. this "may" be the pattern but i have a feeling its the 15 pin ffc. take alook at both ends does it look like the contacts are damaged with clipping / re-clipping?

I took every precaution when trying the bitstreams and have changed the 15 pin cable several times since I have five of them.Tried all bitstreams by wiring the skeet up and just flash the ps3 to verify whether they work as we were told to believe.I have a good dump of the ps3 using a E3 flasher and the ps v1.2 when it was on the 2121 bitstream.
Now i can't get the progskeet to dump correctly anymore even as I have flashed the good dump back with the E3 flasher and the progskeet back on 2121 bitstream.

I'm suspecting the flash or writing the ps3 with these bitstreams as the cause.

for me i used the pin headder board that comes with the nor clip.
i soldered wires from that to the ps3 then connected the pin headder to prog 1.1 via the ffc and did a dump. checked it ect.
my plan here was to swap prog 1.1 with 1.2 and do a new dump.
this way i know it isnt bad soldering or loose wires as if i got a bad dump i could just put 1.1 back on to re-dump to test.

are you doing the same sort of thing?

thisis so annoying with mine not even being detected. i simply cannot give my best help with this

my brother has dropped off his laptop and it detects the progskeet 1.2
now as his laptop is for his job i cannot go any further with this on his.

so just to round this up

eeepc with winxp 32 x wont detect the progskeet 1.2. it will work with progskeet 1.1

acer 5763 windows 64x will detect progskeet 1.2

i wiped and did a full freash install on the eeepc as it wouldnt detect the injectus before.

so this has to be a pc fault somewhere

i will spend this weekend putting win 7 on it and then i can see if that works.

if it doesnt then it must be a hardware issue

could you see if uf6667 needs any info from this pc before i wipe it and put win 7 on.

sonyweb or anyone else

are you using the same pc that you have the prog 1.1 installed to?
also are you using the same usb port?

just trying to rule out that it isnt the driver for prog 1.1 that is interfeering with the prog 1.2

my brother has dropped off his laptop and it detects the progskeet 1.2
now as his laptop is for his job i cannot go any further with this on his.

so just to round this up

eeepc with winxp 32 x wont detect the progskeet 1.2. it will work with progskeet 1.1

acer 5763 windows 64x will detect progskeet 1.2

i wiped and did a full freash install on the eeepc as it wouldnt detect the injectus before.

so this has to be a pc fault somewhere

i will spend this weekend putting win 7 on it and then i can see if that works.

if it doesnt then it must be a hardware issue

could you see if uf6667 needs any info from this pc before i wipe it and put win 7 on.

sonyweb or anyone else

are you using the same pc that you have the prog 1.1 installed to?
also are you using the same usb port?

just trying to rule out that it isnt the driver for prog 1.1 that is interfeering with the prog 1.2
I use zadig to install winusb v6.1.7600.16385.Thinks that is what works for the ps v1.2.

but you do have drivers for both your prog 1.1 and 1.2 installed?

or dont you have 1.1 on the same pc as the 1.2?

right your at the exact same point i am at now.
i thought this was just me.
now the first time i programed the prog 1.2 i had correct reading in slog
then i thought i best start with the first bitstreem first and work my way up as i experiment to find the best way to get it working.

when i programed the first initial release bitstreem i got the same as you in slog
i tried to install the prog with slave and i get the same error as you in windows.

also no matter what bitstreem i load it gives the same slog message (all FF FF etc)
and same error when plugging it in to pc.

if i plug the prog into my bro's pc it is detected propperly. (no drivers installed though. it just detects and then starts looking for driver)

i have now removed win xp and re-installed win 7 32x
updated it etc

i put prog 1.2 in and it is detected
i direct it to the driver and as it starts to install i get the message that the usb device has malfunctioned again.

no matter what bitstreem i use (and it still gives the slog FF FF etc with all) it still wont work via slave.

i am going to try erasing then updating the bitstreem
i will let you know how i get on

" ff ff ff ff ff ff ff 00 ff when programming the progskeet"

it's normal right?! we all get it as posted earlier...although mine works/detects fine on Win7 32bit, only weird that it gives FF's instead of another value as on the 1.0 though, maybe that's the reason..thx for all tips on settings/drivers used

the only thing on mine was that small switch on the slaveboard at first, fixed it and bright led again..

I just programmed my 1.2 progskeet using latest bitstream and all went fine. I was able to get drivers I stalled for my progskeet but as soon as I open winskeet to check for shorts I get "device not detected". Not sure where to go from here. I'm using windows 7 64bit

i dont suppose you noticed if you had the FF FF FF etc in slog while updating the bitstream with infectus did you?

and un-plug the prog / re-start pc / replug in the prog

it should connect propperly and get detected this was common with the prog 1.1

To all getting "device not detected" make sure the 1.2 is grounded and the 3.3v line is not connected to the PS3. 3.3v can't be wired to anything in order to program.

then it should get detected with that combo..
winusb driver is used with latest winskeet

use zadig.exe to switch the driver

then it's what 4DoorITR posted = the 3.3v line if already wired up..

it gives exacly the same error if i plug in just the slave board
can you plug in just your slave and see if it is still detected as progskeet

and regulators?
there is only one on the main prog board and the points under it i have checked and they were not shorting so unless its the same under the reg on the slave board then i have no idea.

the capacitors that can be set wrong at factory are all ok. first thing i checked

i'm just at a loss.

if you can just see what happens by plugging in just the slave for me then i can go from there

yep
but its a problem of the progskeet its self not being detected by the pc via the slave board after bitstream update.

^ yes 1 regulator but the OPTION to fit either a high-powered one (SOT-223) or a smaller low powered one (SOT23-5). The PCB is designed such that the footprint of the smaller device sits inside the larger one (nothing wrong with that idea if one wants to save space but at the loss of potential heat-sinking). The idea I guess was cost reduction if the smaller one could be used.

i understand that
i dont get why they still soilder the pads though if there not going to use them as it looks like when they work the board the larger reg pushes the solder below it and they join the pads.

i wonder if its the same on the slave board reg?

just tries plugging it in again and it detected then started looking for a driver then once again changed to say "usb device malfunctioned"
so i wonder if it is something happening as it starts to get hot?
but everything feels cold.

Therein lies another design fault with this PCB (apart from the bank of decoupling capacitors having been placed too close to one another).
The boards are machine populated. The solder is placed on a panel of PCBs using a solder paste. This paste is placed (a bit like silk screen printing) using a solder paste mask - a very thin sheet of metal with holes chemically etched into it. The mask is placed over the panel of PCBs and the solder paste wiped over it. Thus everything that is exposed gets solder.

As you have seen, their 'mistake' was to not use TWO paste masks instead of one. Hence if the larger SOT-223 regulator is placed it will squidge down the solder placed for the SOT23-5 device potentially creating shorts. Ooops.

i wonder if its the same on the slave board reg?
Yes

so i wonder if it is something happening as it starts to get hot?
The regulator? And not wired to a PS3 etc? Should NOT get 'hot', warm perhaps, but not hot. Does the 3.3V reg on the slave board get hot too? (Should do). Test using a meter. Do you get 3.3V and 1.8V (reg on the ProgSkeet).

the slave led comes on when connected to the prog btw
Now that's interesting. Says to me things are working. The switch on the slave board goes (via the ribbon cable) to a pin on the FPGA. Like-wise another pin on the FPGA goes (again, via the ribbon cable) to the green LED on the slave board. Therefore you must have a working FPGA with a working BitStream on it to be able to turn that Green LED on & off using the switch on the Slave board...

Hmmm. Food for thought?

so a stencil then. just like when you reball a bga

As you have seen, their 'mistake' was to not use TWO paste masks instead of one. Hence if the larger SOT-223 regulator is placed it will squidge down the solder placed for the SOT23-5 device potentially creating shorts. Ooops.
yep real pain now to fault find as i need to check "possible" fault that i cannot see lol

The regulator? And not wired to a PS3 etc? Should NOT get 'hot', warm perhaps, but not hot. Does the 3.3V reg on the slave board get hot too? (Should do). Test using a meter. Do you get 3.3V and 1.8V (reg on the ProgSkeet).
hmm change getting hot to warming up. i have noticed that if left plugged in the under side (below the actel chip) gets warm but the chip its self feels cold. so not sure if there is something between the layers that is not connected right making resistance and heat. but if its just tracks then this wont be the reason.

slave board = 5.06v leg / 3.283v leg / gnd leg .... then the top tag = 3.283v

main board = 3.238v leg / 1.563v leg / gnd leg .... then the top tag = 1.563

(done with a FLUKE meter)

Now that's interesting. Says to me things are working. The switch on the slave board goes (via the ribbon cable) to a pin on the FPGA. Like-wise another pin on the FPGA goes (again, via the ribbon cable) to the green LED on the slave board. Therefore you must have a working FPGA with a working BitStream on it to be able to turn that Green LED on & off using the switch on the Slave board...

Hmmm. Food for thought?

Andy
the ProgSkeet_12_130411_1041.dat bitstream installed i get the same error but no led. dont know what he changed though.
i take it you picked that one up last night?
if you did you could see if the led works on yours or not.

btw if i plug in just the slave board it takes 3 seconds to get detected as "usb malfunctioned"

if i plug in the slave board while its connected to the main board it takes 30 seconds

if i plug it in using a dubble usb to single mini usb then it takes 5 seconds

I've been using 121018.31 with no issues. Just make sure you have the switch on the slave board in the correct position.

i carnt even confirm the progskeat 1.2 will install on a pc

i have sat in irc most of the day today and i have seen no one else post about it.
so where ever this confirmation is i ave no idea.

but that is not to say it isnt true.

i think the guy's on here will soon tell us if its working or not

I could test in seconds if I had one with my adaptor
100% as there's no wires or power issues to mix in just
Progskeet 50way FPC and a nor chip

If anyone wants to donate for testing you shal get it back

the new bitsream is split into 2
one for nand
one for nor
the nor should now detect cfi
the nand has improved read / write via clip

uf6667 will be keeping them as 2 bitstreams after i suggested it will be better like that and he's going to add dual nand back into the bitstream seeing as keeping them seperate allows more room.

hopefully this will also allow more improvements to the nor bitstream.

now my prog is comfirmed faulty so i will try to help the best i can but i am at a stand still untill i get a replacement.
then i really can start testing and getting everyone what they want. a guide to successfully use the bleeding thing

5V in and 3.3V out, voltage measurements are good.
However, for the regulator on the ProgSkeet, 3.3V and 1.563V out seems a little on the low side to me, should be 1.8V and hence as you suspect, *something* may be dragging this line down resulting in a warm spot.

As to WHY this is an entirely different matter. This has got me scratching my head. It cannot be a direct short on the PCB causing this. I wonder if a 'bad' BitStream could damage the FPGA. But if were possible and the FPGA damaged as a result then IT would get hot and not the PCB as you've mentioned.

Weirdness abounds!

I tested my ProgSkeet 1.2 with zif socket nand. Bitstream: 130415-2019 (only for nand).

It works very good.

Time to dump (without verify enabled) --> 02:53 (minutes:seconds)
Time to flash (without verify enabled) --> 06:16

Obviously, even if the verify was disabled, I compared my dumps each others, and also I redumped after flashing, to verify that all the files were the same.

It is 3 seconds faster than the 121101-1223 for dumping, and 5 seconds faster for flashing.

Sure????
I do nor downgrading a lot so just want to be sure the v1.2 can stand enough write operations, otherwise will sell the rest three I have.
Losing a flasher after a just a few usage should be of concern to any modder.

you have a good dump so you need to write it back with the v1.2. this is the only way to see if its working propperly now.
if it does then do it again on another ps3.
your in a good position to really work the v1.2 out propperly.
the same with anyone else that does alot of downgrading.

uf6667 will look into advice and feedback from them that do alot of downgrades more seriously then the one off downgrader as you will have more expirience to know more about how to use the flasher than the new guy.
and with that it will be less likely to be a user fault (ie bad wiring)

also if the flasher only lasts a few read / write commands then you really need that issue sorting out asap. so get using it work that sucker out

i know off 3 ppl that have said they have.
but to be honest you have other flashers so if you fail with the 1.2 then you can simply use the other flashers to re-flash with.

you have nothing to loose aslong as you have a good dump in the first place

I am having issue with powering the NOR, so no unfortunately no writing as of yet. Just CFI confirmation.

there from irc
they could be on this site i dont know.
but with so many ppl that have this flasher 3 is a tiny number to go by.
we need trusted downgraders like yourself to comfirm it works or post the issues.
like 4door just has.

i may know off 3 but there not from the trusted guys we all know.

its bizzar how "unknowns" or random noobs are reporting it works yet ppl everyone knows are reporting failures

it should be the other way around by now

Trying to inject 3.3v from an ATX to a DIA-001 that is a true YLOD (GPU connection). I get garbage. But if I fire up the console with the PS3 power supply I can quickly dump CFI before it shuts off. I can also dump the first few blocks and they are valid. So my question is why is the ATX not working. It is supplying 3.28v when measured.

1) click dump
2) enter filename
3) connect progskeet
4) click save
5) turn on console

So if i wanna power the Nor Via ATX,
where should i wire the 3.3V point,
to the Nor Leg?
since the 3.3v test point will not work

What people don't understand... you are doing this "in-circuit", meaning that the nor power supply is also connected to other components requiring 3.3V power supply.

why isn't the 3.3V test point not working? logically (physically) it doesn't make sense to me... the test point's just a wire that goes to the 3.3V rail...

That works but I get verification errors on the first few blocks. I've already dumped this console before. I had to use 26 awg wire back then. I'm testing 30 awg because I've been told numerous times that it will work although I'm not having much success.

Multi stranded 26 awg is too stiff. Maybe some single core 26 awg would be more flexible.

I will try that but it seems to only do it during the time the PS3 is cycling on and then off, therefore during the time the voltage is varying on the circuit.

Just ordered my 1.2 with Injectus. Feeling a bit like an idiot now, having not read all of this first. I guess I figured that since the 1.0 and 1.1 were solid, the new revision would only add features and not take them away. I realize that there is not currently a way to flash the NOR, but will I be able to safely/consistently flash a PS3 with a NAND? I've read posts from few people that have said that they cannot flash either.

There appears to be a mass of confusion out there with regards to the powering.

We have:
1) USB Power -> ProgSkeet Power -> Isolated PS3 PCB. This does not work because not enough power can be derived through this chain.

2) USB Power -> ProgSkeet -> Connected to (but no 3V3 connection) self-powered PS3. This usually results in confusion over ground connections due to problems arising from ground loops (earthing connection of both the PCB and the PS3 being commoned).

3) as the result of 1) above. ATX (or similar) power supply -> Powers isolated PS3 -> connected to and powering Progskeet -> connected to (but 3.3V regulator link removed) USB. This results in the most confusion as is apparent here.

4) For completeness, a NAND / NOR desoldered and removed from the PS3 mainboard and soldered to an adapter / solderless PCB. Mass confusion resulting from the fact that 3.3 does NOT come down the 50 way cable.

^ Cross pollenate that lot and what results is a mass confusion of confused masses. LOL Oh and people yapping on about wire-guage sizes to add to the mix.

lol...why u posted previously that it worked?!..wasting time on this nor+atx..

here's that quote again... something with lowering power trick..

Note: Injecting 3.3v on a PS3 Slim CECH2503, with Teensy 2.0++. Didn't dump. South Bridge will hold (one of) RESET, CE or OE high until later in the Boot sequence / other hardware is initialized. // subnote: tristate was most likely not used to prevent further booting, nor was lowering power injection trick used as it is impossible for a southbridge that is not powered to pull any lines up.

I posted that dumping CFI worked. If I try to dump the NOR using the PS3 power supply then I get random verification errors. I dumped this same console months ago using 26 awg wire, but if you also look back you'll see I was testing 30 awg + ATX + the new bitstream for writing.

It sounds to me that hes saying that the trick is to inject just enough voltage to power the nor, but not enough to power up the southbridge.

Sooo, anyone have any luck with new bitstream?
Right now I'm trying to flash Spansion N NOR.

My setup:
Progskeet 1.2
Bitstream - ProgSkeet_12_NOR_130412_1647.dat
Drivers - drivers_winusb_111121
Soft - WinSkeet130416 OR Winskeet111205
DIA-001 motherboard with blinking red light (empty NOR, thanks to previous bitstream)
P5 (TRISTATE) connected to GND
P2 & P7 (Primary/Secondary CE#) connected to the same point on motherboard
Everything else connected as shown on diagram (including all GND and 3.3V points)
On Progskeet motherboard - R7 Open, R8 Closed.

What I'm doing:
1)Open Winskeet
2)Power on PS3
3)Connect Progskeet to USB
4)Dump,Flash, etc

What i got so far:
CFI,Dumping,Erasing - works flawlessly on any settings

Flashing - I tried to flash at least first 128KiB. Result - on buffered write (32 bit) & USB transfer timing settings Progskeet flashes first 2-5 KiB without any errors (FACEOFF, DEADBEEF, asecure_loader, metldr etc.) and the rest filled with FF's. On other settings it's pretty much the same, but in addition data gets mixed with random FF patterns (like DATA FFFF DATA FFFF).

Is there something I'm doing wrong? I already re-wired everything 2 times with same result.

The newest Winskeet does allow dumping of both NANDs but I get verification errors. If I dump separately they finish with no errors.

But it definitely does not fix writing to NAND B side.

Well, I desoldered all 3.3V wires, so Progskeet powered via USB and NOR powered by PS3.
One word program + USB transfer timing = it works! But it takes about 2min 11s to flash single 128kib block. And sometimes Progskeet freezes (usually after 5-20 blocks), so you have to re-connect USB cable and start flashing from where you stopped (thank god for differential flash option!). So in total it took me about 6 hours to flash 16mib NOR Spansion N.

In conclusion : it is possible to flash Spansion N NOR with Progskeet 1.2, but it takes way too much time.

These are my settings anyway,using last bitstream;
For spansion p use, buffered write + USB transfer timing.
Samsung Q just select from the common tab and don't alter anything(single word program + ready triggered timing.Flashing takes about 7min for both.

Need to inform uf6667 that ps v1.2 freezes on some USB ports during read and flash operations,so could check on that(maybe some mod on the last bitstream).Used a dell XPS Gx 620 without freezing after trying on three diff PCs.

CFI does work
but Dump has verification errors everytime...

re-wired 3 times same problem...still no workaround solution ?
