We are delighted to announce the first public release of our backup manager: Ps3ita Manager.

Ps3ita Manager was not created from scratch, on the contrary, is a simple fork of Iris Manager, initially for fun and then by the need to include some essential functions (fix for the error 0 × 80010009) for our cfw (and not only ..)

Gradually, the project has caught on, other changes were made to the manager, until the meat to the fire was enough to justify a first release ..

It was not created anything revolutionary .. but we think that some additions can be enjoyed by more people..

    Changelog:

    v1.0, 12/05/13
    ————-

    Based on Iris Manager 2.40

    New Features:

    - Added Payload 4.41 CEX (CFW Rebug 4.41.2 & Rogero 4.41 are now supported).
    - “Control fan” now also supports the CFW 3.55 DEX, 4.21 DEX, 4.30 DEX and 4.41 CEX.
    - Added function that automatically fixed the error 0×80010009 in games and updates.
    - Added Menu “Setup Video” and options “Grid 6×4/4×3″. This last one allows you to choose if display 24 or 12 games on one page screen.
    - The manager on first boot detects the language setting in the PS3 and if the language is present in Ps3ita Manager set it as default.
    - Added option “Fix fw version in psn/update games” in the menu “Tools”.
This fixex the error 0×80010009 in ALL PSN Games and Update installed.
Note: The option for obvious reasons is displayed only if you use a cfw from version 4.21 to 4.40.

    Problem fixed:

    - Fixed bug in payload 3.55 DEX and 4.21 DEX (wrong offset in the functions lv2_unpatch_storage & lv2_patch_storage).
    - Fixed “bug” in the payload 4.30 DEX (was not present the “patch” to remove the lv2 memory protection).
This was causing shutdown of the ps3 if you used the CFW Rebug 4.30.2 with target id set to DEX.

ps : for those who don't know, Hermes/Estwald explain a lot of things about Iris Manager and his others works on ElOtroLado forums. Very interesting reads.

      Open Source makes me wet.

It's great to see devs sharing and using each others code.

Some feedback from Estwald (broken translation by /me):

(...)its good to see that other people are involved and work to have a true open source scene where developers stand for what they bring to each other and not so hidden

So we have variety and win all together (And it makes all the hard work doing these things worthwhile)

Send a greeting from me to ps3hax.net community
I agree, this is how things should be in the scene

hey, is there a way for fan control to start on boot up?
mine keeps reverting back when i boot up, then as soon
as I open ps3ita it loads my fan profile....

To save the configuration you need to use the "Set Settings" Option

Yeah, settings only kick in once you hit set settings,
once i've done that i can quit ps3ita but once console powers off
I need to open ps3ita again. Can anyone confirm their settngs come on automatically when booting up their PS3?

      im using rebug lite 4.41cfw.
My phat for some reason isnt turning fans up on its own? CPU temp hits like 82c and fans stay dead silent. but if I go to ps3ita, the temp drops to low 60s and thats with default fan profile, I can hear the fans turn up a lot to drop it from 80c and then they reduce and maintain temps in the low 60s...

CFW Rebug can't load applications on background from start up, that's the reason that you need to open ps3ita or control fan utility everytime you turn on your PS3. Actually, only CFW 4.40 MiralaTijera can load applications from startup

I've been playing around with this and it works great. Temps drop about 15c when I activate the payload or the user setting.
However, I've encounterd a minor issue (bug)with it.
When the temps go up while palying a game the power led starts to change color. Every time the ledcolor changes the sound is cut for a fraction of a second. Everything keeps working fine, it's just a little anoying.
Great work none the less. I love having a fan controle while being on dex.
