jjkkyu has released a public version of the latest version of TrueAncestor EDAT Rebuilder (v1.42).

The newest version, but for some reason some function is ripped in the public version.

For detail changes, please read history.txt in the package.

Awesome, I can resign most of my edats with this. The only ones not working yet seem to be Online Passes (Uncharted 3).

EDIT: Apparently the program does not like it when I use REALLY long names for my edats (which is cool). Shortening them resolved my resigning issues. I LOVE this Custom option, hopefully we'll see a batch option at some point but this definitely made my resigning of 62 edats much faster!

When trying to use Fast Rebuild with ISO.BIN.EDAT using a rap file (PSX Games) I keep getting a EOFException and the rebuild claims to of "succeeded" but it has not.

Here it is. Screenshot of error also included.

On a side note, I tried to resign some SPRXs for Okami HD using your SELF Resigner and I could not seem to resign them but the EBOOT resigned just fine.

I need the original edat, not after rebuilding.
I guess it is an edat of 1.0 version, I will wait for your uploading the ori file.

My bad, I've updated the zip file, the link from my earlier comment is still valid.

I'm having trouble decrypting some sdat files. Currently, the tool outputs a .dat file that is 0 bytes and says it decrypted "successfully"...

When I tried Fast Rebuild on the sdat files, the tool crashes.

I even tried using oakhead69's sdat tool as well, but no luck with it either.

If you have some time, I was wondering if you can look at the SDAT files.

please upload the problem sdat, if the file size is large, you can tell what game it comes from.

download speed is very slow for me, can you change to another filehost?

      mediafire or rghost is prefered.

      re-uploaded to mf.

Also, another user already managed to decrypt them; the sdat files used compression which I'm guessing is why taer is having problems.

I've been trying to get a couple of edat decrypted for several hours now, but to no avail. Unfortunately, the error it throws at me doesn't behold any kind of detail.

      The said error is

      [*] Decrypting CH08_01_sp.pam.edat...
[!] Decrypt CH08_01_sp.pam.edat failed, unknown problem.[*] Press any key to continue...
The edat and designating rap in question is located here, I included the Klicensee in a text file as well.
      mediafire.com/?3hiwbeuhi4qau
I would be happy if I can get these edat's encrypted as I really want those pam files. Any help on this matter would be appreciated.

Right, I was afraid that that might be the case. Not sure how the rap file ended up being corrupt, then. Could it possibly be because I'm running PS3ITA 4.50 DEX?

Is anyone else unable to select files using the latest Java 7u51? Version 1.45 shows nothing in the file selection menu and version 1.25 claims java isn't installed (I got the x86 JDK and x64 JRE).
