• Soywiz has updated his PSP Emulator for Windows and Linux to version 555, here is what has changed since the last revision:

     photo smaa_enabled_zps41ba337c.png

    • Improved sasCore so games using it now reproduce notes better
    • Improved rendering speed. Now 3d games should be faster.
    • Fixes on VFPU so Vallhala Knights is now showing skinned characters (still have some issues)
    • A CWCheat form editor.
    • Apply HQ2X to textures
    • View and edit textures with the new texture editor (it generates a .texmap file linked to the executable folder so it will be loaded each time) and you can customize or improve textures.
    • Added SMAA fullscreen antialiasing.

I would love to test it.. I know it is low than ppsspp but just for fun. Unfortunately, I can't because it crashed on Windows 64bit. Is there a way I can test it ? It is only for 32bit.

I think I tried their emulator before

It didn't crash for me However if i recall right it don't let me use any ISOs or psp games that I downloaded because the developers are against piracy

this emulator is useless for me

There is also JPCSP, PPSSPP, and PSPE4ALL. Those are all still in development. I still contribute to JPCSP, PPSSPP, and Soywiz's emulator when I can.

32-bit applications can run fine on 64-bit systems. Try installing the 64-bit and 32-bit Visual C++ runtimes. That should fix the problem.

All PSP emulators support ISO's. Even if you download them. So try again.

Depending on your OS and CPU, you may have to install both the 32-bit AND 64-bit versions of the Visual C++ runtimes AND the .net framework 4.0 and 4.5. Try that.

FYI, GregoryRasputin, this version actually is version like 452 or something but they bumped it when they saw how many commits had been...committed...since the last revision. Also, all the "speedups" are just more accurate emulation. So it is TECHNICALLY a speedup, but also not really.

What emulator are you using? Whatever you downloaded either isn't an emulator (a scam or malware), or you are using some emulator that I have never heard of. Use the latest build of PPSSPP from here: http://ppsspp.org/downloads.html#devbuilds

I would uninstall/delete whatever you have and scan your computer for malware/viruses. If you can tell me the name, I can add it to the blocklist of fake emulators (if it is in fact a fake or scam or whatever).

Ah sorry for replying so late

I don't recall the name but it didn't was fake emulator from what it seem, just emulator with some locks that the dev mades

I actually recall it was this emulator (at least from their homepage...)

but I still didn't test it, and what do you meant by the last build? I don't see anything about it in the emulator site beside it last version
