So 300 prototype Steam Machines at this moment are being tested, etc. One youtuber recorded unboxing. (Lucky guy)

    To quote:

300 prototype Steam Machines have been sent out to beta testers, and one lucky tester has already posted a video of his early experience with the living-room machine.

Corey Nelson was one of those who received a unit and posted an unboxing video on YouTube. Nelson also posted videos showing off the system booting and another looking at the controller.

Valve will offer further information about a full launch for the Steam Machines in January at CES.

Am I the only one who found the woman's tone bordering on the aggressive??
Nice little unit though. I would like to see it in action and see how well it could act as an xbmc unit. I'm guessing it would run it nicely.

Many vids from this guy on his channel.
He installed windows on "his" steambox (dual boot), and made some comparison vids (I saw the Metro Last Light one) between windows games and their steamOs cousins.
      Very interesting.

To tell you the truth, the fact that Steamboxes *should* be compatible with oculus rift makes me much more interested in those than in the so-called "next-gen" consoles from $ony and Micro$oft...

      Me too.
I would love to use this with Rift.
      Interesting enough.
