Developer Alexander Just Released the first ever 4.66 CFW. Now You must have a working BD Drive for this. The NOBD Edition is coming soon including DUALBOOT Edition and Cobra Edition

MANDATORY:
[It is recommended that, after a successful installation of custom firmware, do the following:
- Settings> [System Settings]> [Restore Default Settings]. (From the XMB)
- Restore File System (Recovery)
- Rebuild Database (Recovery)
So, you will have a clean install and you’ll be fine.

WARNING : If you want to use PSNpatch 4.66.01, you have to remove all sorts of Spoof, worth softbreak

  Since I have never had the opportunity to have hands-on experience with installing any PS3 CFW, I have a question. This says it's built on OFW 4.66 and that it's the first ever. Does this mean that it is simply a CFW upgradeof sorts or is this this first CFW for the consoles that still aren't jailbroken? I'm sure I know the answer to this, but I just want to make sure. I'm anxiously waiting for the day the PS3 SuperSlims are finally blown open.

  It is not a first CFW 4.66. Darknet CEX 4.66 was revealed more earier than Ferrox at the Korean forum.

  I do not think the Ferrox is a CFW harmful. It seems to me a very good product. We should thank these people.

  I'm not very familar with CFW on the PS3... I'm on OFW 4.65 on a Metal gear solid PS3 bundle and I was wondering do I need to E3 flasher or not? I was spectulating not since it said it was built on 4.66 OFW. If anyone know I would be very grateful

  If you're on phat 4.65 ofw console, than yes with an e3 flasher you can make the job. There are lots of tutorials on the internet showing you how to downgrade the console and install cfw.

  All I got was data corrupt after preparing the .pup for installation. (PS3/UPDATE/PS3UPDAT.PUP)

  Description says Dual boot and cobra version soon... So, no cobra on this one.... Maybe you can use prx + mamba loader... If I'm not mistaken it's the same thing as cobra, at least as far as ISO support is concerned....

  Surely it will not be very well known, but Alexander develops CFW by nearly 1 year and no one has ever had problems.
  The FERROX 4.66 was tested on hundreds of consoles. No one has reported problems.

  Yeah there is nothing wrong with this CFW (what so ever), provided you dont want or need cobra. Not very nice to claim Brickware without proof to backup the claim. Ban me if you want but I call it how i see it.
