I don’t know how many of you are still using ODE’s after Sony hitting them really hard with FW 4.60. But if you were ok with all the hassle of DMC chips and swap discs. This is for you.

The guys behind this just released an update that will add DMC support for all the Cobra ODE versions plus they have also released an external clip on pcb to connect a USB storage device.
Yes now you can use second USB port  instead of that weird PCB clip but again with external hardware sadly.

    As quoted on Source

We hope all our loyal supporters and users had a Merry Christmas!

We are happy to present Cobra 2.3 fw which adds DMC support accross all version of Cobra ODE.

Installation instructions will follow over the next few days.

In addition we are releasing a new accessory for 4.30A, 5.10B and 5.30A users. Instead of using the external clip on pcb to connect a USB storage device, you can now solder the Emu USB QSB to the second port of your PS3, which allows you to use your second USB port to connect USB storage for Cobra ODE. If the USB storage is not present at boot of PS3, the port can be used for PS3 controller or normal XMB usb access.

    Download v 2.3
    Source

UPDATE Users are reporting a brick specially with v5 boards and this is also looking like a mess which is made just to sell DMC so please just stay away for a while until things clear out.

[(Quick Fix) : Go to Settings -> Network -> Set Up Internet Connection on your PS4, select “Custom,” leave all your settings as they were, but change MTU to 1473. it will work and you will be able to sign in again but please remember to change it back to 1500 when all the problems are resolved. (There is no guarantee that this will work for everyone but you can try)]
Lizard Squad have announced they will not only continue attacks on Xbox Live but will cripple it to the point that it will be unusable on Christmas day and possibly forever.

While it may not be forever, it’s a safe bet that Lizard Squad will continue attacking Microsoft servers. Best thing to do is to remove any credit cards or vital information tied to your xbox live account right now.

Just Recently  PSN was down too and as reported by hellsing9 Lizard Squad may be behind this too.

UPDATE Well both PSN and XBox Live(Currently in UK) are down and Lizard Squad is taking responsibility for issues on Microsoft Side

UPDATE 2 Finally PSN Users are now able to sign in. IF you can’t Please Post in the comments

This tool can manipulate PS3 backup data. but no it will not enable homebrew on OFW but it gives full access to dev_hdd0 and /dev_flash2 even on 4.66 ofw. Kakaroto also announced that he is retiring from PS3 scene and we really are gonna miss him but he has already done more than enough already. So its time to say goodbye to one of the most respected developers in the scene sadly. The whole scene will miss you. But we really hope that you will achieve everything that you want in your future and best of luck for everything.

    Hello everyone!

It’s been quite a long time and I’m very happy about that :p
Let’s do the boring part first! This is my final release for the scene, I am not “coming back” or anything like that, so don’t get your hopes up, but I needed to release this so I’d be officially done. I have never actually announced that I’m leaving the scene but everyone figured it out. It wasn’t originally done intentionally actually, but life caught up with me, work, family, lack of time, etc.. so I had little time to work on the ps3. Also, my motivation was mostly gone due to not finding anything interesting anymore, a lot of drama and I’m not a huge fan of all the attention this all brings. I got into the scene because I was curious and I wanted to learn, and I have to say I’ve learned a lot of things these past years and it was an incredible journey, but as I had lack of time and started breathing, I realized that I’ve had enough of it so I left and I am very happy with that decision because you have absolutely no idea how much of a time drain and headache this was :p
Anyways, there was one thing I did just before I left, but I never got to release it, but today is your lucky day as it’s release O’clock where I am!. This release is a way to say Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, etc.. to everyone, and a way for me to also say “I’m done for good, I don’t have anything left for you in a drawer somewhere” :) . I’ve wanted to release this for a while now, and I even made a poll on ps3hax back in March 2012 asking people if I should (looks like ps3hax is down right now so here’s the google cache version) and the general response was not to release it until it can be useful (when an npdrm workaround is found) with some people saying to release if nothing new happens in the scene.. and I think I’ve waited long enough now to know nothing new on that front will happen.

So.. since I’ve announced the release, I’ve seen a lot of speculation about what it is and what it could be.. a lot of people seem to think (or mostly, want/hope for) a downgrade method, unfortunately that’s not the case. I’ve seen some ridiculous suggestions too, like someone asking if it’s a way to run PS4 and Xbox One games on PS3.. I’m sorry to say, that’s not it either :p As I’ve said in a tweet shortly after, this is nothing groundbreaking, this is code that hasn’t been touched in 3 years, so it’s already 3 years old, but I think it’s still something that can be very useful to the community.

So here it is, I’m introducing to you : PS3xport! I’ve uploaded it to my github account here : https://github.com/kakaroto/ps3xport

What does it do? Well, it’s basically a tool for manipulating the PS3 backup data. When I say “PS3 backup”, I’m not talking about a “backup” of a game, no.. I’m talking about the full PS3 hard drive backup that you can do by going to “System Settings->Backup Utility” on your XMB. That creates an encrypted directory on your FAT32 hard drive which allows you to format your PS3 and then Restore it just like it was before. I’ve reverse engineered the file format and encryption and PS3xport allows you to create new backup data from scratch, or dump existing ones, or delete specific files from a backup or do a whole lot of other things to your backup folders. This gives you total control over your /dev_hdd0 and /dev_flash2 filesystems, which will let you install homebrew on any console, even if it’s the latest OFW version. Unfortunately, just like it was 3 years ago, you wouldn’t be able to run those homebrew apps you install due to the NPDRM ECDSA signature missing. If you have your IDPS though for example, it could let you restore a backup from one PS3 to another PS3 without losing any of your data in the transfer.

So.. what’s this about “your IDPS”? yes, the backup has two sets of files, some can be decrypted right away and some can’t because they are encrypted with your IDPS (your unique ps3 device id) which is why they can’t be restored on a different ps3. If you have a CFW, you can easily get your IDPS (I’ve written a small tool to do that, released on github, but apparently MM and Webman will also give you that information) and that will give you total control over your backup data as you would be able to decrypt and reencrypt it. If you have OFW and can’t get your IDPS, then you will not be able to dump/decode all the files from your backup, but you will still be able to create a backup that can be restored on your PS3 with no limitations (this means for example that you can restore a backup from a CFW into an OFW without any issues). I was told however that someone can get IDPS from OFW consoles and in light of this release, they might release their method soon, I can’t say more than that though, but be patient and good things come to those who wait :)

So my release is in two parts. First, the documentation of the file format was added to the ps3devwiki so any developer can understand how the backup archive files are created and can create their own tools. Reverse engineering that format took months of work and I won’t go into too much details about what had to be done to figure out the format but it was an incredibly long and difficult task to do that I had a lot of fun in doing. The second part of the release is of course the release of the ps3xport tool. The tool is quite powerful and you can do a lot of things with it, but it’s a command line only tool and I honestly just tested it on Linux, it’s not really my job at this point to make a windows build, or make a GUI around it, etc.. but I’m sure it won’t be long before others in the scene pick it up and make a nice GUI for it and release windows binaries. I’ve written a nice README file so everyone can understand how the tool works and what it can do. I remember though that 3 years ago just before I stopped working on it, I wanted to add a “AddPKG” command to it which would just ‘install’ a pkg into the backup data automatically, unfortunately, I never got to do it, but it should be easy to do. While I’m at it, I’m also releasing a pkg extraction tool which I found in an old directory (cool thing is the -p option in it, try it…) as well which is a PKG extraction tool that uses the PagedFile mechanism (see below) to allow for very fast pkg file access with very little memory usage even for huge pkg files, any dev can probably mix those two together to add the AddPKG feature to ps3xport.

On the software front, ps3xport.c will parse the commands then use the archive_* API which is in archive.c. That will contain all the functions needed to manipulate the archive files. It uses a ChainedList which is my rudimentary implementation of a GList-like ordered list and the archive API also uses PagedFile objects which are pretty cool. PagedFiles are a wrapper around a file which allows you to read/write to a file using pages (I set it to 64KB per page I think) so it limits the hard drive access. The cool thing about it is that it has encryption and hashing built in, so you can just set the encryption key or ask for the file to be hashed, and whenever you read/write, the encryption will be done transparently, and the coolest thing about it is that you can actually seek in the encrypted file and it will still work (it recalculates the required IV whenever you seek). The encryption there works on the stream, so you don’t need to write blocks of 16 bytes every time (thanks to the paging of the data) and it has a cool ‘splice’ method which allows you to copy data from one PagedFile to another easily, so you could in theory re-encrypt a file using a different key using 5 function calls (open *2, set_key*2, splice).

    That’s about it.

I’m really happy about this release, and I want to say Merry Christmas/Happy New Year to everyone, and of course..

So long, and thanks for all the fish!

It’s not new to hear about PS3 consoles to be bought in mass (back in 2010 the US Air force did so for example) and being used in parallel computing, but it has been a while.

In the late Spring, Doctor Gaurav Khanna of the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth gathered almost 200  units for his research, to find and study gravitational waves.

Playstation 3 were chosen not only by their relative inexpensive hardware, as the processor architecture. Dr. Khana is the same person that, back in 2009 published a paper on how a Cell processors could improve his calculations by a factor of 10 in comparisson to an Intel-like processor.

Dr. Khana admits that for this purpose, PS3′s are getting outdated though and his next project most likelly involve exploring the capabilities of modern GPUs. Nevertheless, on a personal note, I think it is still pretty cool.

From the US Air Force lab, which originally had 1,716 PS3s in parallel, and from which Dr. Khana ghathered most o his consoles, its still expected another transfer of 220 units.

Developer aldostools has updated webMAN MOD following the recent webMAN 1.34 release from deank.

It’s been a while since we last covered a webMAN MOD release, and there are some highlights from this month that are worth mentioning. For instance the ability to use a 3rd nethost server was added a recently, four(4) extended content profiles, as well as a SELECT+L3 button combo to Refresh XML. There have also been numerous bug-fixes, and improvements including new features for the nonCobra version. There’s a detailed list in the changelog below.

    [UPDATE 2014-12-20 | Updated 2014-12-24]
With the release of webMAN MOD 1.34.05 Aldo had hidden webMAN MOD on his github, and at the moment I still can’t provide a proper changelog for it.

If you were unaware Aldo Vargas had been asking for donations to cover server costs for his website.
They’ve since been met, but if you want to continue donating I’m sure it’s appreciated, and if you haven’t tried any of his PS3 Tools, stop and have a look around.

Curious, as to exactly why Aldo hid webMAN MOD from his github, I looked around and apparently a very opinionated individual criticized him for asking for donations and for modifying deank’s webMAN rather than trying to make a name for himself by himself and writing his own plugin from scratch. I don’t want to draw too much attention to the individual, the drama, or the statements that were made, or even where they were made, but I do want to try and give a little insight to some ignorant folks that may feel the same.

I’ve personally spent only around 15 years now, involved in the the open source community. And I can tell you that most of the greatest projects in existence have risen to the level that they are at, not because of One person, but because of Many. They usually start out small because one person had an idea, and before long someone comes along with another idea, maybe a fresh pair of eyes notices a bug and they send along a patch. WebMAN is an open source project started by deank, and since it’s genesis several people have contributed to it’s germination. WebMAN MOD happens to be one branch of the webMAN tree that’s grown from that seed deank planted last year.

You may not even be aware of it, but this site, and most of the other websites you use every day run on open source technology; whether it’s BSD, Linux, Solaris, UNIX; and/or Apache, GWS, Lighttpd, Nginx; and/or MySQL, MariaDB— Okay, I can honestly go on for a long time and list the Open Source Software that all of your favorite websites are using (or the browsers you’re using to view them; FireFox, Chrome/Chromium), but I’m getting sidetracked.

Good software isn’t about the developer, owners, or even the user… It’s about the software, being the best it can be.

Now this might be hard for some of you to grasp, but hacking, programming, software development, whatever name you want to give it; Isn’t about glory. Sometimes you may become renowned when you create something impressive, useful, or popular. Which is always kinda cool, but it’s usually not something that is sought after and when it is the product/result rarely meets up to the hype/expectation.

I know from experience that you’re usually forgotten by the users for the contributions you make to the things that they use every day. And if you don’t believe me, then tell me who contributed to the projects I mentioned above. Sadly most of you don’t even know the companies or foundations who’ve dumped billions of dollars into those projects, let alone the poor code monkeys that devoted their own time to them for decades.

The importance of the contribution isn’t the recognition but the effect it has on the outcome.

KaKaRoToKo, Founder of PSFreedom and PL3 just sent a message to PS3 fans. The following is the pastebin where he is saying about releasing a very useful tool that was never released before.

    Hello PS3 fans!

I have all these twitter followers who are completely useless (:p) and who tell me how to use my twitter (not to “spam” them with useless stuff :p) but now is finally the time for you to become useful and do something for a change!
I know though that most of my followers just want to see some ps3 exclusive info, and since I’ve left the ps3 scene, many people were annoyed by some of my ‘non-relevant’ tweets.

So here’s the deal, I’ve entered a few contests on reddit and instructables and I’d be very happy if i won something and you will help me do that!
If you help me win one of the contests, you’ll get something in return that will make you very happy. Hint: It’s a very useful PS3 tool that was never released before.

So here’s what you need to do :
Go to reddit and upvote my comment : http://www.reddit.com/r/3Dprinting/comments/2orjjk/lulzbot_mini_3d_printer_launch_contest/cmsl43u
You can also go to the reddit contest and enter it yourself if you want a chance of winning a Lulzbot Mini 3D printer! http://www.reddit.com/r/3Dprinting/comments/2orjjk/lulzbot_mini_3d_printer_launch_contest/

You will then go to my instructables and vote for them on each of the contests in which they are entered.
To do that, you click on that “Vote” button in the top-right corner, and click the “Vote” button on each of the contests that appear. You will need to login to instructables (you can login using twitter/facebook/google+ directly) when you click the vote button. Also, I’m told that if you have adblock, it might give you an error when you click on vote, so just login first and it should be ok.
    I have made 4 instructables here :

    http://www.instructables.com/id/Litophanes-How-to-3D-Print-your-photos

    http://www.instructables.com/id/Build-a-3D-printed-Dalek/

    http://www.instructables.com/id/How-to-build-a-custom-bed-of-nails-tester-for-your

    http://www.instructables.com/id/How-to-setup-the-RAMBo-for-your-3D-printer

You can also go to the instructables contests list and see which contest you find interesting (with interesting prizes) and enter it yourself : http://www.instructables.com/contest/

Once you do all of that, you will receive (telepathically) my thanks, and on January 1st, I will be releasing something awesome for the PS3!

    Thanks everyone!!!
Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukah, Happy new year, etc… :)

So the day is not that far. Just wait and watch and I really hope this will be something that will finally put some life again in the ps3scene.

UPDATE The dev confirmed that it is what we were all hoping for. Yes it is HEN that might help to run homebrew on newer models.

    Hello piplz!

So… wow, a lot of interest after yesterday’s tweet! A little too much even! So first of all, thanks to everyone who voted for my stuff, this is truly amazing to see all the support you guys and gals have given me! It is greatly appreciated! Hopefully I win something! It would be great, but it’s ok if I don’t :)

I want to make a few points clearer though as I’ve seen some confusion in some of the ps3 forums..

1 - This is not newsworthy! Thanks for those who opened a forum thread about it, that makes sense.. but seeing it in the front page news of some websites was a little too much honestly…
2 - I want to make it clear that I will be releasing regardless of whether I win any contest or not! I said I’d release on January 1st, as a ‘new year gift’, but maybe I’ll do it on december 25th as a christmas gift instead, if I have the time. This would also prevent people from saying “you released after the deadline for the contest so you only released because you won something”.. nope, that’s not it. I announced that I’ll be releasing something AND I also asked for people help for those contests, but it is definitely not a requirement and I never said I’d only release if I won something.
3 - I actually posted links to the contests (reddit/instructables) a few times on twitter but nobody (not many at least) paid it much attention, I’m surprised to see so much reaction now, I hope it’s not just because I announced something ps3 related at the same time, is it? :p
4 - Some people didn’t like me saying that my twitter followers are useless. Sorry about that, I didn’t mean to offend anyone, I just meant it as a joke. I do have a weird sense of humor :)
5 - The instructables contest winners are chosen by a panel of judges, not by votes, but the judges will only look at the top 50% of entries by votes, so you need to get votes for it to be looked at. The reddit contest does go to the most upvotes (and to the best one chosen by lulzbot), but I’d also like to see some cool new entries into the contest. So I encourage everyone to get their best ideas and to enter the contest as well.
6 - Someone said that asking on twitter for votes is against the reddit rules (reddiquette) and could cause a ban. Actually, I’ve checked all the rules and it only applies to posts, not to comments, and the contest’s rules themselves encourage us to share on social media. After all, the purpose of the contest is for Lulzbot to get publicity and be more known and by sharing the contest on twitter, it helps promote them (and I believe that’s the reason the entry with more votes get a win, and then they chose the best one as a second win to be fair for the creative ideas).
7 - I’m not releasing right away because I actually need time to go through the code and make sure the tool works, the code compiles, there are no missing files, etc.. this is a tool that was written over 3 years ago (first commit was in november 2011 and I worked on it until February 2012 I believe) so I need to look at it again, try to remember how it works and write a README/instructions, etc…
8 - I’ve wanted to release this for a long time now, I stopped working on it 3 years ago but it’s pretty much all finished, but I was waiting to see if there would be a better use for it in the future. This is related to that HEN I spoke about a long time ago, and I even made a poll on twitter a couple of years ago and most of my followers said not to release it until it can be used to hack newer models, but I think it’s time now as I don’t foresee any new developments in that area and I want to release it once and for all and be done with the ps3 scene with nothing holding me back to it.
9 - Yes, I think it’s a useful tool, it includes months of reverse engineering of an area of the PS3 that no one looked at before, but no, this is not something that is groundbreaking, like a new CFW or a way to degrade or something like that. It might open up new possibilities and it will give you more control over your PS3′s content, whether you’re on OFW or CFW.

That’s about it. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me on twitter, I’ll also be answering on this forum : http://playstationhax.it/forums/topic/1050-ps3-developer-kakaroto-needs-your-help/page-2#entry9807 (there are many forums and I don’t want to go through them all, so i’ll just reply on that one).

Take care and thanks again for everyone who voted for me! :D
    KaKaRoTo

and about him saying that this is not news worthy, well our only intention to front page it was so that his message can reach as much people as possible and not everyone look at forums. He is one of the most respected devs in the ps3 scene so i thought it was worth sharing on the front page. So any of you reading this please go over the links provided in the first pastebin and help him win.

He also made a poll about releasing this hen few years back here at Hax. Here is the link . it was unfinished at that time and most of the users agreed to not to release it until its finished

Those who sell and purchase games on steam from different countries, well this is a bad news for you. Looks like Steam is getting ready to region lock its games in the coming future. So called”Steam Gifts” that were cheaper in Brazil and Russia and people used to buy it from USA and rest of world are region locked now.The developer from the game “Euro Truck Simulator” confirmed on twitter that all games from now on are region locked

    via Twitter
All games purchased on Steam in Russia and CIS are now region locked. All of them. Yes, your game too. RT

Long await *Agito or just Versus* the demo will be limited to they *day one* edition of the game. Nice gift ;) though i can’t wait for this that much.

Access to the anticipated Final Fantasy XV demo will be permanently exclusive to buyers of the Final Fantasy Type-0 HD ‘Day One’ edition.

The demo is “intended to be a special gift for those of you who purchase early - the demo will be limited to the ‘Day One’ edition of the game, meaning that only the first shipment is going to have the demo in it,” Square Enix has announced.

“So if the demo is something you think you might like, we highly encourage you to pre-order or to be quick about getting to the store on launch day, March 17, 2015,” it added.

In addition, the Final Fantasy XV demo will be exclusive to Final Fantasy Type-0 HD. “We’re never going to release it as a stand-alone piece down the line,” said Square.

Sony is trying to start a riot in London by selling the PS4 for just £19.94.

Well Here’s how you can get it.
Sony will be selling limited edition 20th anniversary Playstation 4s for an extremely low price of £19.94.
This deal will be available in London tomorrow (December 10th) in Sony’s special “Playstation ’94 shop’ on Bethnal Green Road.

However, turning up with a £20 note is not enough for Sony to part with a limited edition console, instead you will also have to bring a PS1 controller in addition to anything Playstation-related from the 1990’s (i.e. a Gran Turismo 1 poster) and then you will have to say the secret password “I crashed my Bandicoot.” It is unknown if Sony will actually take the PS1 controller and the Playstation 1990’s memorabilia or if they just want to see it to make sure they are selling the console to a loyal Playstation fan.

Due to the economics of selling a very expensive system for such a low price, Sony will only have 94 PS4s (get it?) available for £19.94. On December 11th and December 12th the store will be selling the limited edition PS4s for £399.

Developer haxxxen has converted PRX Loader to psl1ght. This can give the ability for auto-booting plugin’s on start-up with Standard CFW’s without the use of a Cobra CFW.

    As quoted on the source
Just for the record, i have converted PRX Loader to psl1ght and merged it with newcore from estwald. this way you can really auto-load plugins on regular CFW just with newcore. i am still looking into merging payloads as-well into core, but i have no idea how to load them from the self file, cause merging works fine.

Here is the first test version, but not with merged payloads. it works fine on 4.21, but i am too lazy at the moment to test out others. source is included, and if anybody wants to improve it, feel free to do so (after all i have no real clue about coding and i am only modifying things.)

    It only works for:

  • 4.21 cex/dex,
  • 4.46 cex/dex,
  • 4.50 cex/dex,
  • 4.53 cex,
  • 4.55 cex,
  • 4.60 cex
  • 4.65 cex.
  •

I had no other symbols and i am really too tired at time to search for others.

I have included several checks, so that no soft-brick should occur if wrong firmware is present or even if a corrupt plugin is loaded. i have made a new flag named “removeprx”, incase a plugin freezes XMB. it will unlink/delete plugins.txt, located at dev_hdd0/plugins.txt

The installation only happens, if firmware is supported, otherwise pkg will triple beep and exit. only the right payload for the running CFW is installed, no other one. so for example on REBUG REXyou have to install the pkg 2 times, to get both payloads for both kernels. the pkg itself can be installed without problem on top of already installed prxcore.

If somehow still prxcore is installed and cfw is not supported, it will also triple beep on reboot and not even load PRX Loader. also if somehow payload gets deleted located in dev_hdd0/tmp/payload_xxx.bin and is not detected, PRXLoader gets not loaded and only newcore is running.

    sm.self is also still supported.

    EDIT
I just forgot to mention, if you plugin a flash drive in usb000, PRX Loader will spit out some debug messages in a log, where you can see what exactly happens, or where is an error.

ah, and also here is modified mamba with map_paths. i have compiled all payloads upto 4.65 only.

it works fine if you load a cobra webman, or with ccapi installed a hybrid ccapi cobra version (though the syscall _sys_ppu_thread_exit has to be removed for a hybrid ccapi cobra version)

    Here are rghost links

    prxcore - prxcore.zip

    EDIT
i have noticed i have forgotten to include lv2memory protection removal for rebug 4.21/4.46, because i have patched it directly on my cfw. this is mandatory, otherwise prxloader will not work and shutdown ps3. sorry for that and i will make new one with included patches for these versions.

    mamba - mamba_map_paths.rar

I have included this 4.20 ppu-gcc toolchain with mamba.
btw, the payload for prxloader can be compiled aswell with this toolchain, but using 4.1.1 toolchain from cobra, makes the payload some bytes smaller i have noticed, and it is better than this one.

you can even compile lv2kernel for cobra with this toolchain, but it breakes unluckily cobra stage2, which was already mentioned on here some time ago

For those who were asking if PSN is down. Indeed, is down ATM. If you are experiencing more issues, please report in this thread.

Lizard Squad, seems to be the ones behind (yet again) PSN getting Dd0ssed.

EA offering free games for PS3/PS4 and Vita. What the hell you are waiting for?. ;) go grab yours.

    To quote:

PlayStation owners may be about to smile, as this weekend they can get their hands on some free games.

EA is offering a free game for every “modern” PlayStation console (those being the PS3, PS4 and PS Vita) , but only for this weekend, to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the PlayStation.

The promotion runs until midnight (Pacific) on December 7th, so time is limited. EA is offering Need for Speed: Most Wanted for the PlayStation Vita, Mirror’s Edge for the PS3 and Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare for the PS4.

Mirror’s Edge was first released in 2008, so it is not really a surprise that EA are offering it for free. With a 4/5 rating on Metacritic, Mirror’s Edge was and still is a solid game.

Need for Speed: Most Wanted (the 2012 version) is the game EA chose to offer for the PlayStation Vita. Need for Speed: Most Wanted is a slightly newer game than Mirror’s Edge, and perhaps a slightly more desired game for the PS Vita. This game has been rated 9/10 by IGN, and is highly recommended.

Finally, EA is offering Plants Vs. Zombies for the PS4. The game, which started on mobile, has recently become quite popular on consoles, so it is good to see EA offering a popular game for free, even if only for a limited time. Normally retailing for almost £30, this is an absolute steal.

The games are available for download from the PlayStation Store for anybody with a PlayStation account. PlayStation Plus membership is not required.

This promotion is a limited time offer, so get downloading. Just make sure there’s enough room on your hard drive.

User madeeha from GBAtemp forums, posted what it appears to be Rebug 4.65.2. Judging from his first statement the guy doesn’t give a flying f$@$ about those who gave him those files to just test.

before we start, let me tell you something.

im one of their testers.they were not releasing cfw and were keep delaying the cfw, so i decided to release this shit

He said he is a tester to then continue to explain or justify why he was leaking it. *Because Rebug were keep delaying the cfw*. No excuse to release something that probably is not even finished and not properly tested only because.
Not his work, not his files, it’s not HIS. Either way the guy decided to go to GBAtemp and do it.
Leak appears to be legit (confirmed) though, my advice is to wait for REBUG to make an OFFICIAL release.

i truely like rebug team, but not releasing this work is not a nice thing!!!

It’s not up to him to decide.
Sometimes i wonder how some people trust in others their work and one day they snap and start to release their *shit*.
Maybe it’s time to choose another testers or whatever to avoid this from happening. Funny though, the user states on that same thread that he *loves Rebug*.
Then why the fuck turned into a $@!$@! leaker?.

I won’t post a download link, thus i respect Rebug. It’s just a WARNING for those who are willing to test it if they happen to have that file.
So if you are not sure, just wait for Rebug’s official release.

PlayStation Experience Sony Computer Entertainment shown the first gameplay video of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End

The latest leak that crippled Sony pictures was huge. Gizmodo reports that up to 100 TB+ of data stolen including: Unreleased movies, scripts, medical records, 3800 SSNs and more was found in the leak. Keep in mind only 40gb was released, the rest of the 60gb still remains to be published, and who knows the damage it will bring.

It’s time to take a moment of silence for Sony Pictures, because more startling revelations about leaked information just came out and employees are starting to panic. BuzzFeed raked through some 40 gigabytes of data and found everything from medical records to unreleased scripts. This is probably the worst corporate hack in history.

We already knew that the Sony Pictures hack was bad, but this is just absurd. BuzzFeed’s discoveries include documents detailing “employee criminal background checks, salary negotiations, and doctors’ letters explaining the medical rationale for leaves of absence.” They also include “the script for an unreleased pilot written by Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan to the results of sales meetings with local TV executives.” Better call Saul.

Meanwhile, Fusion’s Kevin Roose is reporting on what exactly happened at Sony Pictures when the hack went down. The hack was evidently so extensive that even the company gym had to shut down. And once the hackers started releasing the data, people started “freaking out,” one employee said. That saddest part about all of this is that the very worst is probably still to come. Hackers say they stole 100 terabytes of data in total. If only 40 gigabytes contained all of this damning information, just imagine what 100 terabytes contains.
